I gotta say, as a retired mechanic of 34 years, that you do an awesome job of explaining everything.

I appreciate that and it all comes from the heart being and ASE mechanic myself, an Engineer and an life-long auto enthusiast who likes to work on projects for all types of vehicles. Thanks for watching.

Thanks man. I spent a lot of time handing wrenches to my pops for my youth and after he passed had the fortunate ability to be around some of the industries best as part of my career choice, so I enjoy sharing the things I observed and learned along the way.

@@exhaustinglife I’ll keep an eye out. Would love to see a flex/rub test between your RX stubby and their EX full width. I’m personally on the fence 😂

Around town it is much better than stock from a comfort and drivability standpoint. I like how well its done in desert and washboard but I'm off to Moab Utah to get it in the rocks and see how well it does there.
Stay tuned and I'll be putting up some commentary content to support al the install videos.

Did you wire the 7000 series light to Mopar aux switch or use the supplied switch?

I have an sPOD in my set-up as I have a fairly large selection of lights. I still had to use the relay for the rated current draw of the 7000 Series lights using the sPOD as the trigger. You could just as easily used the factory switch panel as long as you are wiring it such that its the trigger wire and the current is switched by the supplied AEV relay.

Do you know what would need to be removed to install the AEV 7000 lights after this bumper was installed?

@@nickritz4740 It's not bad. There are 4 - 10mm nuts on the back of the Hoop to remove the hoop and 4 - allen bolts around each surround base of the hoop you might need to loosen to run your wires. 30 mins of work tops.
