$20 Dollar Tree Dinner Party | Serves 6 | Budget Cooking

- It’s time for another $20 dinner party, and this time all of my ingredients came from Dollar Tree! The menu I prepare in this video serves 6 people very large servings, and can easily be customized and modified based on what you have on hand. I'll also tell you some of my easy go-to plating tips to showcase each dish.

Those sausage pcs. Might be good with sweet and sour and hot mustard dip.
Also a cold Asian noodle salad with peanuts would be good.
I think it is great to do this but a few fresh cheap items would make it soo much better like grated carrot cabbage green onion oh you could use the canned chicken draine in the noodles or peanut butter sauce with honey and lime juice.
You had a lot of imagination with this also mandarin oranges cut up oranges with almond cookies and tea.
You gave me some great ideas.

I see a lot of video's about "dollar tree challenge" the thing is some people buy foods and survive from what they can afford at the dollar tree because in some case's it's cheaper. No, not all case's but some. Many people are simply surviving.
Absolutely, in my city many people shop for groceries primarily at dollar stores. I think that's part of why dollar store videos are popular! For my $20 Dinner Party series I try to use the most popular inexpensive grocery stores in my area. I've also done Walmart and Aldi!

Thanks! It does take a lot of work, I can't believe I forgot the green beans! I got distracted with all the filming. But the sausages were good at least, haha.

Our dollar tree did not sell food till just last year.
Do you have company coming, or will you use it as meal prep? I feel like if you eat this all week you will be craving greens
Meal prep! But I have a lot of other food prepped for the week too.
Very good, thank you, I thought the way you sliced the sausage was nice, how one end of each medallion was slightly thicker than the opposite, you wouldn't think it'd make a difference but it does!

I really hate when TH-camrs try to make people who use dollar tree products feel stupid, poor,ashamed and bad. I watched a video a few years ago where they made thanksgiving from dollar tree products and everyone was gagging and laughing about how nasty it was to use these products.

Either you live in a sate that doesnt make you pay taxes on food or you used a tax excempt number. Either way, saying you only spent 20 is misleading if you leave that out😮
