I think this is a great series. We are empty nesters who are not yet retired. We find it hard enough to shop for ourselves - I have no idea how parents can feed their families. Thank you!
Thank you. I have saved alot of money by utilizing the dollar tree for my lunches. One of my favorites that have wowed all of my coworkers is the chili i can make using a rice cooker. Step 1 cook a half cup of rice 2. Add a can of Margaret Holmes tomatoes okra and corn. 3. Add a can of Southgate Chili. 4. Stir and cover on warm for 5 minutes.

Love the dollar tree dinners! With the prices skyrocketing and food shortages, these kind of videos are so important now. I am a diet controlled diabetic doing great(I’ve also lost 20 pounds so far!) Although your dinners look wonderful, I can’t eat most of it. But I’m a wiz at tweeting recipes to suit my situation.

I love the food videos! I'm beginning to wonder about TH-cam as other sites have changed so much and become so commercial. Thank you for "sticking to your guns"!
It does appear that they have really been pushing videos that are basically commercials for the various stores. Now you may say, well people are just interested in what the latest is at DT and that is true, but from upwards of 70+ creators, all telling you the exact same handful of new items that week? At some stage you have to scratch your head and say, that's a little fishy. It just seems that those are the videos that are getting exposure often even with in the same channel.
And I don't blame the creators since they will work endless hours coming up with new creative ideas, buying the materials, going through the trials and errors and endless hours of crafting, filming and editing only to get a few thousand views (which translates into $30 or $40 dollar for a week's worth of work) while simply taking their phone to DT and filming the latest finds could potentially garner multiple tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of views ( which translates into thousands of dollars of income for a fraction of the work)
Things that make you go, "Hmmm?"
I really see this benefiting college kids or young couples just getting started.
Yes, my youngest son is in college and is sharing these videos with his friends and my oldest is sharing with her friends in that young couple crowd!! 👍🙂❤️

You are one incredible person I love your DIYs but the food hacks is saving me and my family right about now we are a family of 6 plus I homeschool our children and 3 other children from 2 families lastly I tutor kids as well and many times those kids come to me right after school and they have not been home yet to get a snack so I always give the kids something to eat before we get started ❤thank u for caring your meal saving videos are priceless to me ❤❤❤❤❤🙏🏾keep them coming if u can

My father was a fantastic cook and a fussy eater. He turned me on to that brand of canned collards several years ago. Been enjoying them since!
Hi again! Right!?! I can't get over how good they are. Unfortunately, the first time I tried canned collards, it was another brand that wasn't very good so thought all of them were the same. Didn't try again until I found some of this brand on clearance many years later. What I difference and have been sold on those every since!! 👍❤️🙂

Frozen Cut Green Beans: Season's Choice Cut Green Beans are 95¢ at Aldi OR Good & Gather Cut Green Beans are 99¢ at Target, 95¢ with Red Card.
Frozen Peas: Season's Choice Frozen Peas are 95¢ at Aldi, or Good & Gather Frozen Peas are 99¢ at Target but 95¢ with the Red Card discount--cheaper than canned peas and taste better, too!

So glad you are enjoying the meals videos. As for breakfast, I'll have to think about it. When my kids were young, I always did cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bar and if we had time, fried egg or pancake which were always cheap enough so don't know what I would really have to offer. It was always dinner that had the biggest expense and need for cheaper solutions. But I'll think about it.🙂❤️
