I think this has been your best meal plan ever! Everything looked so good. I love the way you show people how to cook from scratch. Your channel is so much better than the Food Network.

I cannot be the only person who has to pause the video halfway through because I get so hungry watching Brooke cook that I have to go and make myself something to eat. While I’m watching the rest of the video 😆
As a frequent user of coconut milk, I will now be looking at my local dollar tree, because wow what a deal. It normally runs about 2.75 a can. Awesome tidbit, thank you!
You should absolutely include your food from your garden Maybe you could just check out the current price per pound of veggies currently in the store and then put price side by side in the same video so you can show the difference in cost 😊
Oh my goodness! You had me at soup beans but then you made fried taters! And then you made fried green tomatoes!! And THEN you made cornbread!!! Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better you served it with fresh sliced onions. Bestie, if you are ever in the Dallas Texas area… ❤
Brooke, you amaze me! I just love you. Your attitude of kindness & love shines and you crack me up too. I do not know how you do it but you came up with food that looks divine on a tiny budget. The look on the kids faces says it all. That's a gift. Thank you for sharing and as always be blessed my Southern Squad! xoxo
The TV chefs will tell you that spices last 6 months to 1 year. I can't afford to replace all my spices once a year, so I just use them until they are gone. In my experience, they just become less flavorful so you use more of that spice. So I'd use that 2-year-old curry, too!❤❤
My son n law is Indian, he uses dark meat chicken in all of his curry dishes, boiled eggs and potatoes, never saw him use broth though. What you made looks good though. I love one pot meals, they stretch so far. I grew up in the mountains momma made one grocery store trip a year, everything else came from the garden or out in the wild. I don't know if most people could do that anymore but the food was always so good.
I love your channel not just because the food is delicious and realistic. But the way your face lights up when you've fixed something that your family loves ♥
Girl, those beans, fried taters and maters and cornbread look delicious!! We were raised on food like that and chow chow & onions, yes!!! I love your channel!
As soon as tomatoes come in. I get all the fresh veggies I can get and make a big plate. That 1st good red tomatoe from the garden is the best thing about summer.
I have been binge-watching your channel and I love it! I also grew up very poor with a single mom with 10 kids! Our dad passed away when we were young. She worked her fingers to the bone taking care of us. The struggles made us who we are today. Strong and independent. My grown kids grew up so food spoiled. Your recipes look delicious!
Brooke I just want to say you are so dope. Thank you for always sharing and actually caring about your community and others. Your videos are so inspiring and they have actually helped me stop wasting things and buying things we don’t need and getting creative with meal ideas… Thanks again
Brooke, not sure about your dollar tree, but at ours, one can get a 5 pack of Ramen noodles for (of course!) $1.25, making them .25 each. I remember when they were .12 each at our Kroger! 😭
Get a kick out of your comments and great ideas. My daughter and I are prepping an area in her yard for a garden for next year. It's important to have good soil. A container garden is an option for people that have a deck or balcony. Herbs and certain veggies don't take much space. You made super use of the homemade broth. Keep your ideas coming. ❤
I remember getting them 10/$1 on sale when we had a budget of $100/mo for 2 adults and 1 child luckily they had that sale every month when we did our shopping.
I remember them way cheap too, I used to pray to find change on the sidewalk before I went to the store, always found enough, or more, than I needed. (When there was a sale and I was low on funds, that was very helpful).
Brooke we just recently had our last child leave the nest we raised 5 children of our own and then at 50 years old we adopted 5 children that were in the system so for fifty years that’s the age of our oldest child I’ve cooked for a big family now it’s just myself and my husband ! Could you just do one video on cooking and shopping for two I’m still over buying and cooking huge meals ! I love your videos and you sharing your beautiful family you mean alot to those that watch you your amazing sending Gods blessing and love ❤️
im so glad you decided to do both versions of the video (with and without garden supplements). ive been estranged from my family since i was a teenager, then in a youth shelter for a few years which meant i didnt really learn to cook, and now i live in the kind of area where my apartment manager wouldnt want the hassle of dealing with my request for a garden, my neighbors wouldnt care to keep their dogs out of it, and the stray cats/dogs would destroy it anyway. all my nearby friends are all either in similar apartments or in shelters trying to get jobs/diplomas/GEDs so we cant really do much about it together either. thank you for real, i can tell this is going to be so helpful and im gonna watch your other videos after too. thank you again so much !
I think your cooking skills are superior to most people, they way you can come up with basic recipes of the top of your head and have it look good is inspirational! Good job!
I can't eat most of the recipes you make due to weird allergies (which I find sad because they look delicious), but watching your videos always gives me a few new ideas and seeing you and your family being real and just generally caring about people and eachother always puts a smile on my face - the long video today was an extra bonus. So thank-you (and Dusty and the kids) from a friend in Canada 🇨🇦 ❤ 🇨🇦
Brooke, so glad you demonstrated how to remove the spine from the thigh. I've been doing it for 45 years and nobody even notices it's missing from the thigh. I've made so make great meals over the years using the "oyster" and other bits and bobs that I can pick off the bones. When I debone thighs, I toss those bones in there too! Boneslesss, skinless chicken thighs made at home is a money saver for sure! Thanks for doing what you do!
Brooke, you totally rocked this one!! Be proud girl. Your garden is producing some good looking veggies. I've told my kids it doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it's producing food. I loved how you did the prep work and came up with some great recipes. It really paid off.
Brooke can you please add your bread and tortilla recipes to the easy to find playlist? Also the dough you used for homemade hot pockets. Basically can you make a “Brooke does dough” video for the easy to find playlist? 😊I’m not a baker and you make it look so easy. Thanks!!
Hi Brooke & family ❤ It did not even feel like an hour long video! I was invested in what you were making & only realised at the end it was over an hour…you are so entertaining sweet girl. I have a suggestion for a video (only an idea, no stress if you never do it 😅😘) but if you found out what “normal” products go into a food box from your local church/charity & see how many meals you could make from those items…I’d like to say, maybe only choose 4 pantry items that everyone would have as add ons (not counting salt & pepper as part of the four, as they are 💯 in every household usually) I’m sure families would be so grateful for any ideas you might come up with. Keep up the great work Brooke. Much love from Australia 🇦🇺👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻😘
I would like to see this as well. A couple of women I know have been talking about us teaching folks how to cook, using what’s available in the “Blessings box”. It is getting harder and harder for folks out there.
I declare that this is the BEST series of meals you've made yet! Everything you made looked so, so scrumptious and I could see how hard you worked. I love how much your family appreciates what you do for them. Diane in NC
I had tears when you used that awesome looking broth to boil noodles!! BTW Does Dusty have a single twin brother that is interested in moving to Wisconsin? LOL
Thank you so much for showing real items that we can afford and cook. You use what you have and don’t tell us to go buy a fortune in items we can’t afford to make good meals. I’m so grateful for you being real!!!
Watching your men enjoy your home cooking, is the best part of your channel. 🎉 it's so encouraging to see them eat your homemade tortillas and carnitas. Bc they've loved it, it's hugely motivating, for me, to actually try this. Also, Brooke, this is where you shine! Using all your resources ❤to make your dollar stretch and I absolutely 💯 love seeing you in your element, making something outta nothing 😂😇 I hope you do more of these challenges and videos, where you use all the resources available to you. It's so inspiring and unlike other channels. This is a good thing, you are immensely creative. And I love watching you shine ✨ Sending love from Ontario 🇨🇦
Please show us how to make blackberry dumplings! My daddy used to make them when I was little. We poured canned sweetened condensed milk on them. He’s been gone for 10 years and no one knows how to make them.
These all looked SOOOO DELICIOUS, BROOKE! I am a Native American Woman from South Dakota. YOUR FRY BREAD WAS SPOT ON AND AS YOU WOULD SAY, “BOMB DOT COM!” GREAT JOB!!! You gave Me so many wonderful frugal meal ideas! Thank You again for sharing Your talents with Us. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. 😊👍🏼❤️👋🏼 Oh, We according to My Wonderful Late Dad are not suppose to share this with Non-Natives but I think that is A LIE!!! We make with berries a fruit pudding called “Wo Gjapi.” We are Oglala Lakota Sioux. I purposely spelled it wrong so You May be able to pronounce it right. It is spelled Wojapi. I know that You will make it correctly. You first, Boil with just a little water, your blackberries, maybe a 1/3 cup of water and add enough sugar to taste. It maybe 1/2 cup or more. Anyway, You make a thickener with water and flour. This size will depend on how many berries You use. I would say, 1/2 cup flour to 1 cup + water. Whisk it together until a thin mixture with NO LUMPS. Gradually, add this into a your boiling hot berries with water and sugar. After You have mixed all together well; taste and add some sugar if needed. It should be just a little sweet, You know tasty. Not overly sweet. Anyway, We DUNK Our frybread into this wojapi. It is DELICIOUS!!! I had to share this with You after I saw You put Your Beautiful berries on Your Frybread. You are so SWEET AND wonderful!
Something I thought about - when you do your no garden video, you could still use your garden produce and just factor in the store price that it would be for the items you use. This way you’re using what you have, but including it in your budget so people can still follow it to a T if they don’t have access to it.
I've never really gotten into these budget friendly channels but I came across your channel a few days ago and I completely fell in love with your vibe thank you for putting out this great content you've given me many different recipes I'd like to try
There's a local Mexican restaurant that makes tortillas. They serve them like rolls or biscuits with melted butter and honey. It's SO good! Now you make me want to try making them myself
My budget is bigger than this, but I’m so proud of myself for staying under budget this week. You and creators that share similar content really teach us how to make it work. Thanks!😃💜
I’m a single person. No kids. My parents had no money problems when I was growing up ( unlike I do now as an adult). So I didn’t see ways of saving and such when it came to food. Ur channel is so nice. ( I love ur family when they make a cameo lol) and ur really teaching me how to be more intentional , more creative and how to save in the kitchen! Ur meal ideas are chefs kiss! Thank u for all that you do! Eating cheap doesn’t mean u can’t eat greatttt!
In my area you can go to the office at the farmers market and buy $20 worth of tokens for $10 of food stamps to stretch your food budget. Most farmers markets are open only one or two days per week but if you’re willing to drive to different markets you can double your $10 food stamps every day. I also found when I visited my dad in the country that the individual farms who have stands on the side of the road are almost half the price for fresh fruits and vegetables than what I would pay at my local farmers markets near the city. I found this video so helpful because it really shows ways I can feed my family cheaper than I ever thought possible.
I am seriously jealous over wanting that fry bread lol. You outdone yourself in this one Brooke. You made me so hungry !! I've always been intimidated to try other kinds of bread but you make it look so easy. Can't say it enough, GREAT JOB!!!!!
Great work on this content. The curry dish may inspire me to dig out my jar of curry powder and get to work! I've been keeping a veggie scrap bag for a few years now and it really makes a difference in the broth. I cheat and make chicken broth in the instant pot. The main problem with homemade broth is that it spoils you for the store bought kind, LoL.
GIRL, You weren't playing when you made that Stroganoff recipe!!! I just made it but added sliced mushrooms and onions. This stuff tastes like it came from a bougie restaurant!! OMG this is amazing!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
All the men of your family are cute (and so are you) but I love your middle son’s facial expressions and reactions to your food. Love your channel!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bestie i just wanna say i am so proud of you taking Ky along teaching him as you go. I love that he is included and im sure the older boys did this when they were younger as well. Dollar tree is the only place to buy coconut milk. Its all the same and everybody else imho has get a bank loan prices.
Today I got so much produce for $22 from a local stand. Like it’s enough for weeks and I’m gonna preserve some of it. I walked out of there with two bags and a box full of what I got. Local options if you can’t grow your own can still be cheap if you know where to look
First, Brooke i think you did an awesome job with $35 and a few veggies from your garden. Second, y'all was all discussing about excuses and yes people do make excuses. But y'all need to realize too, that some people are not physically able to garden. I have a few pots with some herbs and stuff in them, but there's no way i could work a garden now. I have in the past and it's hard work, but the benefits are priceless. So if you can, garden if you want to and if you can't, do what i do. Hey a few pots and grow something you can.
One of my favorite meals growing up was chicken in rice with cream of mushroom in the Dutch oven. Most of the time the chicken would be breast this would be a treat.
Recently came across your videos. I just saw this one, I'm mexican and pinto beans are a staple food for our culture. Beans are eaten in different ways with many foods. To vary your leftover pot of beans, you can also add chopped crisp bacon, and/or chopped hot dogs, + chopped onions & tomatoes (sautéed or not- optional) and finally garnish or also add to your pot some chopped cilantro. They have a great taste as well, you're taking them from bland to flavorful. Give it a try. You can also mash & refry your beans with pork chorizo and serve them with scrambled eggs, or on a tostada, burrito etc.. Thank you for your meal ideas.😊
I was prepping chicken leg quarters the other day. It was a big job, becasue I had 2 bags. but it will be worth it! I put around 2lb of meat in each bag and added a sauce to marinate and freeze. We have bbq, herb & garlic, OG Italian dressing, and some kind of peppercorn parm sauce I got on sale (that fancy sugar free Hughes brand marked down to $1!!!). I think it's supposed to be a wing sauce, but we're working with what we have in this house, haha. I had soem different BBQ sauces so we just did a bag of each. Excited to see what you come up with for the next video! Oh, and we're doing a stock up today at Aldi becasue the kids are almost out of bread and we can't have that in this house... Babies gotta have their PB&Js.
I have been buying in bulk lately ( especially meats) as I find that I can portion the meats in baggies like you do and then make meals based on the baggies..... For example I bought to large packages each of pork chops @ 1.29 / pound, Chicken at 99 cents a pound and some ground beef at 3.99 / pound in family packs. This will be enough meat meal to feed us for 2-3 weeks ONLY luxury is a rack of NY strip steaks that I will divide myself. ( Cost on sale was $5 pound... I remember when I use to get the rack for $3/ pound ) We no longer eat out at restaurants so we splurge on steaks for a once a week meal.
Brooke I forgot to give you this recipe for zucchini garlic and tomatoes. It's a side dish you can serve or you will know how to put it up for the WINTER. Take a knife and make a 3 inch slit with the zucchini sitting on the table. Aim for the middle of the zucchini. Now peel a head of garlic. Lots of garlic cloves needed. Into each Zucchini Stuff 4 cloves of raw garlic. Do this for four zucchini and brush the zucchini with oil as well as the parchment paper. Bake zucchini for 30 minutes in a 400 degrees oven and remove. Now peel ten tomatoes and whiz them through the blender until all mixed. Boil tomatoes in pot on stove until it thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste. Get a large jar and stand the zucchini that is stuffed with garlic up in the jar. Pour in tomato sauce and seal. Turn upside down and cover this jar for 24 hours. You can put this up for the Winter or in the fridge and serve as a side dish. It's delicious. Years ago in Yugoslavia under Communist rule there was not a lot to eat. Zucchini Became a staple because there are lots of ways to cook it and when no one was looking you could grow a lot quietly. Just sharing. Hi to Dusty and fellas.
@@DebbieandEddieBFF oven roast 350-375 until golden and almost cooked through, and then transfer to pot of boiling water and cook until falling off bone. You’ll note the deeper roasted flavor in the broth.
Of all the things you have shown us, I think my very favorite is that dish of good old pinto beans and cornbread and onions. Put that dish in front of me and I am a happy camper because I honestly can't think of anything that I like more!
Hello. Could not pass up a $35. Challenge and my 1st time joining you.🎉I have to say, I have been watching Budget Weekly Meals from East to West, for some years now. Never has anyone else ever baked Fresh Bread at all, let alone baked Fresh Bread 4 different ways in one week, and you were feeding 5:people to. It was so unexpected and yummy looking. Yes to subscribing and I plan to go back and watch your other videos as my time allows. I want to thank you for entertaining me today, so unexpectedly.😊 Have a blessed week.
I adore you! Today is the first time I have seen your videos. I feel like I just made a new friend. Plus you have great ideas on how to save money. I think everyone should learn how to save money. If you are fortunate & have plenty of money, use frugal tips. Then donate the extra cash to those less fortunate.
I made the butter zucchini pasta! I added some things we had at home that I knew my family would like. After I drained the pasta I transferred it to a casserole dish. Then added one can of cream of mushroom, some pasta water, some left over shredded chicken and mozzarella. I baked till the cheese was melted and we topped with red pepper chili flakes. Sooooo good!!!
I live alone now, and nearly 70.. and really hate cooking now.. costs are crazy high... but these all are good and this video of recipes will do me for 5 weeks.. so it will be affordable even if in Australia these ingredients cost me $100 .. you are inspiring me to cook again
you always make great videos. I was watching this one while making dinner. you know a great budget buy is a spiral ham. I'm not even a ham lover, but I buy one in November, and again in April, $1.29 a pound. they're already cooked. I discard that sweet packet glaze, I don't care for that. I cut it all up...freeze between parchment paper sheets in baggies. egg bites, wraps, sandwiches, omelets, great in beans...or like tonight, a nice little chunk beside my cabbage and squash. God bless you and your family, and to the family here ❤
I love to watch your kids eat. So wholesome. My niece and her kids are Hispanic and she always makes her own tortillas. And she does it like you do. So you don’t need to apologize about anything. Great job
I'm a new subscriber so I know I'm late to this. But what you could do next time is just add the store price of any of your homegrown produce that you use into the budget. Then at the end just subtract it and show the difference of what you saved out of that $35 by having a garden. That way you won't have to buy stuff you already have. I just subscribed a few days ago, I'm enjoying all your content. Thank you so much for sharing. My family is from TN but I'm from California. I miss it out there! ❤
My grandma who was a wonderful cook and Happy to share her recipes would take squash and zucchini and sliced it thin but not super thin then fry it in a skillet with olive oil and onions once tender add diced tomatoes canned or fresh then add shredded cheese at the end when you are ready to serve. Kids loved it actually the whole family loves it and you can substitute Rotel if you like a little spice and as always season while cooking with just salt and pepper
I follow the old Weight Watcher rule of 1/2 banana / day. I also do that with Avocado's it really stretches the cost while still providing me with the nutrients.
Being realistic is using what you have available to you… A garden is not always available to everyone but neither is all the grocery stores that you have. People have to accomuwhat they have available able and substitute what they don’t have… you are very conscious about the specifics but the goal is to show people how to cook and shop on a budget.. the actual product will vary bc people will have different options and pantry items. You are a blessing to watch and should go easier on yourself about the specifics… you are feeding a family of 5 and doing so many things behind the scenes… keep up the great work🥰😂
I’m Australian & have just viewed your $35- family budget feeds & the $1 p/d one…AWESOME CONTENT & your boys, including husband are so respectful & supportive, I loved seeing that! I’m gonna be 60this yest & my Mum & I have always shopped on a budget, even thought it’s not super necessary these days, we feel like Whywould you not!? I love that you havechooks& a garden also, Mum had a big plot when we were kids & Ill grow whatever I can from my balcony & community garden. Loving your posts & great to see likeminded people doing the same. Your sons are obviously well brought up as they’re really polite & loving towards you!! My fave part, EVERYTHING!!
I get the Walmart leg quarters, they are less than half the price I see in the market. I eat a low carb diet, otherwise my blood sugars go up and I would need medication. No bread, no starches like corn or beans. No lowfat anything. So I buy ground beef on sale and stock up when I can. God bless you for helping so many eat on a budget.
As long as it tastes good it is authentic. Love the tortilla recipe and the green tomatoes. Thank you for reminding people to plant a garden. Even a small garden in pots saves you lots of money and gives you fresh vegetables or fruit.
Brooke, let me tell you, you are always a ray of sunshine. You and your family are just good people. I was just telling my son, a pack of Ramen is 2 servings, him eating 2 packs is 4 servings. He doesn't pay attention to that stuff but wonders why he isn't losing weight. Love your meals. You cook like me. Simple, delicious and no nonsense. I also don't measure its a pinch or so. 😂 Happy days❤
I have a community garden and it makes a huge difference to my grocery budget! Your meals look great. I’m eating a lot more beans because of you and your yummy options for meals. Oh! Your cheap beef and broccoli is now on my regular meal plan. 💖
You asked about struggle meals in one of your videos. This is not a struggle meal necessarily, but mymom and grandma used to scramble a couple eggs over green beans to stretch leftovers. They also would cube up a slice of bread and brown it in a skillet with leftover potatoes and scramble eggs over the potatoes and bread. Another way to stretch leftovers. Still love them.
Loved the video Brooke🎉I grew a lot of container veggies this year..dill, cucumbers, tomatoes, garlic, chives, little onions, lettuce, bell peppers so if there is a will there is usually a way! If not perhaps folks have a good Amish produce stand or something similar 🌸🌸Thx again Brooke for always trying to help others.
I am losing my job and facing eviction and I'm so grateful for your channel. I am able to make my food stretch because of the ideas you have shown here. I've already made several of your meals and I thank God he led me to your channel. Thank you so much!

Food is money! Yes all food is money! Your very bright about budgeting n hard working on being creative for your husband n children. Gods given you some great special skills.
We live in an apartment and we are blessed that the owner gave us a side yard for our container garden. No one else on our side grows anything.
Our new property management has so many rules and gardening of any kind isn't allowed, even on the patio. It sucks.
You are very lucky that your owner allowed you to have a garden. Depending on where you live you can have a lot of fresh chemical free fruits & veggies !!!!😅
Heck yeah that's great.

They love broccoli,🥦 except the little one. He a southern boy,😅😅😅😅 so he has to eat those veggies if he wants to be tall like his brothers.😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Agree; they are awesome parents; God bless their family 💛
I’m here for the first bite reactions, they’re all great but the youngest is so ecstatic it makes me laugh every time. Good stuff keep it coming!!!

I threw chicken curry in the crockpot mid video 😂
I do that all the time.😊
🤣🤣🤣 I did the same thing!
That is so me lol
She made me want her hotdog and veggie mac and cheese at 1 am. So that's lunch today lmao. 😅
“I don’t think spices expire, oh well I’m using it” literally all off of us lol. Love your commentary!!
They don't expire, but they do lose strength. Taste test! Add some more!
I went to use my thyme this week and just happened to look down. It had expired in 2017🤣
If they haven't been opened, they are fine. If they have been opened, the potency goes down. Either use a lot more, or replace.
If it still smells it’s good to go!

You should absolutely include your food from your garden
Maybe you could just check out the current price per pound of veggies currently in the store and then put price side by side in the same video so you can show the difference in cost 😊
Thanks Brooke for doing the extra work of making 2 videos. Having a garden really does make a difference to your family's ability to eat healthy.

The TV chefs will tell you that spices last 6 months to 1 year. I can't afford to replace all my spices once a year, so I just use them until they are gone. In my experience, they just become less flavorful so you use more of that spice. So I'd use that 2-year-old curry, too!❤❤
You can see how good the boys eat, by the looks of their beautiful, healthy hair. Nice vegetables! I'm so jealous of those tomatoes.
You can tell when Braden likes your food, his eyes light up and starts to nod his head. He is so cute when he taste tests.
I am impressed by all your ingenuity in cooking common foods. Great job on $35 !
@@lizh1988 OMG, I did the same!! Was always scanning the ground for change. It helped!
Thanks!!
Hi Brooke & family ❤
It did not even feel like an hour long video!
And I love watching you shine ✨
Sending love from Ontario 🇨🇦
😊👍🏼❤️👋🏼
Oh, We according to My Wonderful Late Dad are not suppose to share this with Non-Natives but I think that is A LIE!!!
I appreciate all ur home cooking. I'm learning from your good meals....keep up all ur yummy meals 😀 ❤️...
I've never really gotten into these budget friendly channels but I came across your channel a few days ago and I completely fell in love with your vibe thank you for putting out this great content you've given me many different recipes I'd like to try
13:00 Blackberry dumplings! That sounds delucious!
Eating cheap doesn’t mean u can’t eat greatttt!
love your videos and love the way you handle the haters. You sure can tell who has money and who is thrifty in the comments. ❤
You are an amazing young lady and your family is too! Keep being you and showing us how to stretch that dollar. 😊
So sweet how appreciative your boys are!
“Plastic cheese” I love it and laugh every time you say it. Love your channel.
If my husband wasn’t going to be home in a few minutes with Mexican food I would jump through the screen!!!🎉
😂
First, Brooke i think you did an awesome job with $35 and a few veggies from your garden. Second, y'all was all discussing about excuses and yes people do make excuses. But y'all need to realize too, that some people are not physically able to garden. I have a few pots with some herbs and stuff in them, but there's no way i could work a garden now. I have in the past and it's hard work, but the benefits are priceless. So if you can, garden if you want to and if you can't, do what i do. Hey a few pots and grow something you can.
You are amazing at putting recipes together for what you buy. It’s a great talent. Thank you so much. ❤❤❤
One of my favorite meals growing up was chicken in rice with cream of mushroom in the Dutch oven. Most of the time the chicken would be breast this would be a treat.
Thank you for doing both versions of a $35 budget! It's inspiring to watch you take simple ingredients and make such a variety of delicious food. :)
I absolutely love your kids' reactions! They just love everything you make. This was a great video ❤
Right ❤😂
💜
Into each Zucchini
Stuff 4 cloves of raw garlic.
Zucchini
Became a staple because there are lots of ways to cook it and when no one was looking you could grow a lot quietly. Just sharing. Hi to Dusty and fellas.
That recipe sounds good
This sounds delicious ! ❤
Wow I haven't heard anyone talk about Yugoslavia since I was a kid! I was told my family was originally from there, amazing!
Good idea to keep veggie scraps. Another tip for even richer chicken stock is to first roast the bones/meat and veggies before boiling.
How do you do that?
@@DebbieandEddieBFF oven roast 350-375 until golden and almost cooked through, and then transfer to pot of boiling water and cook until falling off bone. You’ll note the deeper roasted flavor in the broth.
Girl ur amazing. With such high prices on groceries ur the best!!! I luv ur philosophy ' use what ya got'!! I subscribed to ur channel. Ur precious! ❤
God bless you and your family, and to the family here ❤
The pinto beans, cornbread, fried potatoes and green tomatoes dinner looked sooooo good to me! Makes me want some!
Brayden was so cute when he looked at you while eating that tortilla. His expression was priceless. You can tell your kids love you 🥰
I love to watch your kids eat. So wholesome. My niece and her kids are Hispanic and she always makes her own tortillas. And she does it like you do. So you don’t need to apologize about anything. Great job
Yes you can, I put taters and carrots in my Chicken Curry, plus green peas at times. Tastes really good!
You are a blessing to watch and should go easier on yourself about the specifics… you are feeding a family of 5 and doing so many things behind the scenes… keep up the great work🥰😂
Great video! I love the longer video!
These meals looked so amazing! 🤤
Your babies are just precious 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
You're such an awesome mom!.... Love all you do!😊
Thank you!!
I have to tell you. I dont really even cook but, I watch your videos every week to see what you've come up with. I just adore you. You are so kind. ❤
Chicken curry is a staple in our house. I always use potatoes. Carrots are not my husband's favorite so I use green beans.
You’re killing me Smalls!!
Fried green tomatoes! Fried potatoes! Beans! Cornbread!😍
THANK YOU FOR DOING BOTH VERSIONS ❤❤❤❤❤
9:00 "Using what I have access to curry" 😅 I love it!
For the c u try we COOK the veg and chicken in the crockpot together on low then add coconut milk an hour before.
Loved the long video! Great info. Your boys are precious.
Now you will have to make homemade tortillas every time. Looks delicious!
