Dehydrated hasbrowns, canned chicken, can cream of anything, cheese. Reconstitute hasbrowns mix everything and bake in oven for 30 mins at 350. So yummy!!! Can add any sort of veggies or other additions. Can replace hasbrowns with rice for a chicken rice bake.
I literally shop at Dollar Tree every month for my food. And I absolutely love it. I have not found anything yet. That is unedible. Not to mention most of the brands are carried at Walmart.❤
I usually only shop at Dollar Tree honestly. I just made easy $5 meal last night. Can green beans, can potatoes, bacon, smoke sausage, onion... Mix all together My husband and my son tore it up. We had extras for 3 days.🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
My DT has vegan burgers and vegan sausage, i love grinding them together, frying in olive oil for 3-5 minutes (Stirring often) low heat. Then adding some frozen pepper and onion stir-fry. Tortilla and salsa (Both at DT). Was blessed last trip with 2 cans of Pinto beans (So I made refried beans) I added some jalapeños from a jar I purchased prior at dollar tree into my beans while I was frying them. (Finely chopped).. Perfect vegan taco
that burger, sausage & stir-fry mix would be a good base to make a “meat”-sauce! they also have a really good onion, parsley, celery frozen mix as well & you could add mushrooms if you’re a fan 😋
Thank you for the great ideas. My brother can't eat gravy so I have to use soups like french onion or cheese soup simply for flavor. No thinking agent. I truly live a sausage gravy & biscuit and for dollar tree deals I could do that.
I've eaten cheap most of my adult life. I have made a Buffalo Chicken Ramen. I take a packet of Chicken Ramen, a packet of the Buffalo Chicken that comes in the foil packs, a half cup of Frozen mixed veggies and a hand full of shredded cheese, sometimes I'll use Sharp Cheddar and sometimes I'll use Pepper Jack, depends on my mood. You cook the Ramen, cook the mixed veggies in a bowl of water in the microwave for 2 and half minutes then drain the water off the veggies and add the Buffalo chicken to the mixed veggies and heat for another 30 seconds to finish cooking the veggies and to warm the chicken then drain the water from the Ramen add the Seasoning packet then add it all together and throw a handfull of cheese on top. It's a quick easy meal that only takes about 10 minutes total to make plus it's good and fills you up.
DT is one of my favorite ME time places to shop! I'm going to have to try that carbonara recipe. It looks so much easier than the one I make and healthier. Good video!
I love the DT ravioli & i often make hot open meatball sandwiches with texas toast from there. Also, their pouch refried beans makes excellent quesadilla with whatever you have add a Spanish rice pouch & some green olive..great options
I shop all food stores except Walmart they only drop food prices when some other store is cheaper. And the family is the third rishest family. More than some oil produces county.
9 times of ten Walmart is cheaper than Dollar Tree don't go there... go somewhere where you actually have a store card that can save you and coupons and or Walmart which allows the coupons top.
Hi Christy! I don’t normally shop at Dollar Tree. I sometimes shop there for budget videos or to make Dollar Tree content though. If you watch my other videos you’ll see I shop around a lot to find the best deals or I’ll shop at WinCo since we don’t have any big Walmarts near me. Hope you have a great day! 😊
I think that people need to shop at the stores that work for them. For health reasons I cannot shop in-store. So for me, Walmart online shopping has the best prices and pickup and delivery options. I like the Dollar tree for some things, but their stock can be skimpy and they don't do pickup orders, understandably so. I have also found it hard to find healthier options at the Dollar tree
Hi Patricia! There isn’t any fresh vegetables or meat at my local Dollar Tree. I have lots of other videos on my channel where I do include fresh produce and meat if you want to check those out 😊
Not trying to be snarky but the picture you show of your husband he is pretty healthy so he thin now cause this is definitely not enough food in my opinion to feed family of 3 and I’m assuming your child is a toddler or 4/5? Again not trying to be snarky just curious.
These ideas are just some dinner ideas that you could make from the Dollar Tree. We ate other food for breakfast, lunch or snacks throughout the day and had these for dinner 😊. My toddler is also 2, so she doesn’t eat as much as an older child.
As the husband in question, no offense taken though I’ll clarify your observation. I’m “thin” because I choose to be, to the best of my ability. The portioning is my decision and not a result of my wife not feeding her poor starving husband. 😅 The portions that we make are perfect for our family (and sometimes is actually too much) and may not be perfect for other families, especially those with larger families.
@@autumnduckworthwilhelm8464 ~Lol.. maybe you should mind your own business this question was to the the wife..do you need attention to make comments that doenst concern you? I was being sincere in my questions that is very little food for a grown man that is thin let alone a man that had some weight on him.
Happy Sunday! What dinners have you made from the Dollar Tree before?

You could also do biscuits and gravy, with the biscuit mix, the sausages and the white country gravy! ❤

That sounds amazing! My Dollar Tree has occasionally had some vegan “meat” options. I’m glad to hear that they have them at other Dollar Trees too.

They have lots of soups at Dollar Tree as well, so that may work for your brother 😊
I grew up eating farmer John brand hotdogs in the 70s and 80s I was so excited to see it at dollar tree👏👏👏👏👏👍

Parsley with the Parmesan is a great idea. I didn't know about substituting Soy sauce for Teriyaki. Great ideas!
So glad the video was helpful 😊
Great ideas, thank you! The large, square carrot chunk was pretty funny.
Right 😂

I’ll have to see if my Dollar Tree has ravioli! Love your meal ideas 😊
I just made the ravioli tonight with their Alfredo sauce!
I use it to make a ravioli lasagna. It’s in regular rotation at our house. 😊
Fried or poached eggs on pancakes is another option.
Love those ideas!
Just came across this video. Everything looks delicious! Thank you!

Chop the pepper and onion mix so that it's more evenly dispersed.

I don't care what anybody says. I shop at Dollar Tree literally every month for my food. And I have not found anything yet that was Not good
I’m so glad you’ve had such good success at the Dollar Tree! What are some of your favorites from there?

What’s your favorite store to shop at to get great deals?
👏👏👏👍👍
Thanks for the comment Willie!
The casserole feeds how many? Doesn’t look enough for even two people. I have to test.
It definitely depends on portion sizes. I have two small children so their portions are definitely on the smaller side.

If the first ingredient is water pass on it.

You ca get better prices elsewhere if you watch your sales!!

not hating but the rotini with parm and bacon was nasty 🤮. i cooked it tonight & me nor the kids liked it. made exactly like you made it
