This is Kansas City, Missouri man. And the Peachtree was fire when it was a buffet. Now it’s just okay. However, I live here, so of course I’m biased 😂
I came to KC in April for a quick little spring break weekend visit..my co worker as well as the guy at Hertz Rent a Car suggested this place. I did not visit this location but I did visit their other location(down in the hood😏)let me tell U…me and my son went TWICE!! It was AMAZING!! Those lil sweet potato cornbread muffins was fye!!!
Awww yes, you were down on 12th street and it's better than the one Darius went to. Also, you were on 12th street which is historically where Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, and many others created jazz music. The history was 12th and Vine.
I live in KC for they changed it to a cafeteria it was a restaurant and it was scrumptious! They know how to get down and through there with the cooking that's how we do in Kansas City!!!🎉🎉🎉
Only been once (b4 covid) when they had the Buffet....THE FOOD WAS PERFECT!!! Catfish, spaghetti, greens, beef roast, fried chicken, corn bread and ALL the desserts were perfect. My momma , wife and 90 year old Grandpa seemed to think the same 💯
Its not what it use to be, not friendly, food look dry and pans be half full, mac is horrible looking and he can really cook so he is being nice on the numbers given, he can fry some chicken what happened with pork chop? I have not been back since last year.
😆🤣I was waiting to hear about the pork chop too. You're spot on about the customer service, that might be everywhere now though. The food can be inconsistent (often too salty) but the yams and fried fish are usually good enough to keep me coming back.
Peachtree dinner rolls are the best! Better than Texas Roadhouse rolls. At least, they were when I last ate there years ago😆. I try and visit there anytime I'm in town, the buffet was amazing!!
@@RoseGoldHunii no more buffet and rolls are not the same. I'm for hiring young people but they need to be trained in Customer service first and need better cooks.
I was relocated here In 1988 with a company called PPG, Retired from them In 1996 and stayed. At 70 I have lived in Midwest as long as New York. But always a New Yorker at heart.
Good camera quality. But you really need a second camera for close ups and tight shots. This camera angle is good for like 2/3 of the video. More angles of the food will increase production value and watchability. A more vibrant backdrop would have been nice too. The plain white wall makes the restaurant seem empty and uninviting.
Before covid, this spot was a buffet! And it was even better than this. And you wasn't in Kansas, you were in Kansas City, M I S S O U R I.
Yeah i'm from Omaha & i went b4 & after covid, the buffet was tha shyt but it's still 🔥 after covid too
That Kansas/Missouri thing irks my soul! Don’t confuse us with them Kansas folks 😂🤣 #MoIsBetter
Thank you for letting him know he was in Missouri!!
@@pastorsdsmithRight !!

But you're right.
Those were the good ol days.
Exactly when they had the buffet at the other location

I laugh every time he makes that face of approval. Good Job, Preachtree 👍

You were in Missouri not Kansas.
Kansas City Missouri two different states we take it personally
guess the SMACKING makes it better
No sir Kansas City Mo is where you are not Kansas
Must be from Atlanta if it's called Peachtree, southern cooking ?
Too heavy on the salt and inconsistent on the flavor!
His demeanor and his tone imply that he came in with low expectations. He underestimated Peachtree because it’s in Kansas.
It’s not in Kansas , it’s in Missouri. Just a small corrrection 😊 please come visit us!
its in Missouri, not Kansas...
