You board train from Thaltej station which is connected by large span bridge without pier, so therefore train will pass this bridge with slow speed. One trainset pass from the bridge, immediately train pickup its original speed.
And have to go further in east-west corridor, it passes from the sabarmati riverfront and then immediately go underground. This route is very beautiful and scenic.

Is that riksha in the beginning trying to compete speed wise with the train (capable of 80 km)? I'd bet that especially during rush hour the train wins hands down against road traffic. P.S. running the movie with the riksha at twice the speed does not count.

i was suprised to know ahmedabad metro is so slow!(i live in vadodara).
Ps. the filming restriction is due to 2011 terrorist attacks where an american citizen filmed mumbai train station for the terrorists for shooting and bomb blasts
