I started RYBELSUS around December of 2022. I was weighting 271 lb. When the doctor started me with the low-dosage which is 3 mg. I didn't feel the effect of the pill. When my doctor increase the dosage to 7mg then 14 mg then, I started feel the effect of the pill. I did not experience no side effects which was throwing up, diarrhea, headaches, etc. The cravings that I used to have at night we're gone. Also when I would eat I would not finish all my food. I started to make small meals for myself. I was not craving for sweets like chocolate cake. With the meal that I would make I was full with it. I stopped drinking coffee. I wasn't craving for it at all. I stopped eating pork chops which was my favorite meat. I had no desire to eat. I was only able to eat chicken. I was not into steaks anymore as well. My eating habits change. Due to the loss appetite. I've been on the medication for about 8 months. I lost 66 lb. My A1C level is 5.6% before my A1C level used be 6.8%. I feel much better my goal is to lose more weight. I just wish I new about this medication sooner.
Thank you for the tutorial on Rybelsus. I started in December of 2021 @ weight 198. The beginning I hated the pill taste, my side effects were minimal wore off after a month. I'm now weighing in @ 172 ,I haven't had my A1c checked yet ( March ). I couldn't tolerate metformin. I'm happy with the way I'm feeling.
Same here. Metformin was horrible and Ozempic was worse. Rybelsus does keep my sugars on check and my weight low, however I have severe hair loss since I started the injected form Ozempic (for about 7 months) then I moved to Rybelsus the pill form. I do think my hair loss is the result of using Ozempic/Rybelsus..
Just started Rybelsus almost a week ago and the side effects are not bothering me at all. I have a slight headache and some nausea, but nothing I can't handle. So far so good. I haven't lost any major weight, but it's only been 5 days...so I am going to hang in there to see what happens. Thanks for this video, it has really helped me understand.
It's 2023 now and I've been subscribed this medication. I was confused, scared and worried by the lack of information and the information given was all of the above mentioned. This video was informative in a way that I can understand and I now know the why's of all the specicfic ways to take ths medication. Thank you so much and I have subscribed.
I was on Ozempic for a little longer than a year. The jab didn't bother me but I also felt the drug's performance was lack luster. Within 2 doses of Rybelsus I could feel it was a game changer. No appreciable side effects and my belly monster has been slain! I have been able to go OMAD easily and naturally cut back on my portion sizes. I hate some folks' systems rejected it but for whom it works it will make all the difference.
@@miiim Sorry I didn't see your question until a year later. My notifications betray me sometimes. Anyway, I am sure you got it sorted out by now but I didn't want you to think I had been rude. Cheers!
Rybelsus. Lost 10 pounds. Appetite changed. A1c coming down. Taking it since the end of January 2021. Replaced Victoza. I am excited. Can’t wait for results over time. It’s not right for everybody but it was right for me.
I know this is an old video, but I am so very happy to find you have made this to explain this newer medication!!! My dear husband is suffering from Alzheimer’s as well as Diabetes 2, the Diabetes for 20: years, his A1C is too high, and it is very difficult to get him to take his pills, and now the Dr prescribed Ozempic, Lol.,,,,,oh no my dear husband will have absolutely nothing to do with a shot. I showed him your video, I practiced on a fruit, but to no avail…so now the doctor has just prescribed the oral form, which I had never heard of, so I was skeptical..but much more encouraged after seeing this,.yes, another pill, but I will explain to him at each does, so he understands…it’s funny, even with Alzheimer’s, he has not forgotten his hatred for injections….thank you so much..
Lol at him not forgetting his hate of shots, aww. I’m needle phobic too, and taking my blood glucose is soooo hard😩. I’m glad there’s now a pill option, and I’m praying it helps your husband with no side effects! 🙏🏼 ❤ Your story touched me very much, as it reminded me of my grandfather when he had dementia and diabetes, and I understand the shot fear too. Sending good vibes!
I have been on Mounjaro for 7 months lost 24lbs and A1C is great 5.9 and now looking for a non shot maintenance drug. Thinking about Rybelsus. This has been very helpful
I take the semaglutide pill form. Started in January and I've dropped 10lbs. I didn't realize I could up my dosage. Thank you so much for this video. I'm also borderline diabetic or at least was. Haven't got that checked yet until next month but the weight loss side effect I love. I already lost 70lbs without the pill form and thinking of switching to the injection form possibly now. Appreciate you!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾
@@jyotiagrawal5201 I did experience these symptoms and it became worse. I have gotten off since and am way better. Yes I did gain some weight back yet I’m glad I got off because doing more research on this has helped me understand this is not really helping you at all. I’d rather lose weight naturally even if it takes 5 years which it won’t but my point is I got off and you should too love. Even if it’s only for your diabetes. There’s other more healthier and effective ways to take control of your health!! 🙏🏽💗
I have been on Rybelsus for 4 months now. Started at the 3mg and I'm currently on 14mg. I've had GREAT success with it. I'm currently at 40lbs lost, and my A1c is at 5.5. This however has not come without some horrible side effects for me. I get the nausea, vomiting and diarrhea at regular intervals. The vomiting for me is pretty violent. Usually I get the it once a month, but in the past week I've gotten it twice. And it's not due to over eating or eating the wrong things. I only eat about 700 calories per day. A low carb, low sugar, non dairy protein shake for breakfast. A smaller low carb low sugar protein shake for lunch. And a small grilled chicken breast and serving size of jasmine or basmati rice for dinner. I eat the same exact thing every single day, because it is what I feel has been the safest thing for my stomach to handle. And I take the pill exactly as recommended. I'd rather take the injectable, but I didn't qualify for the coupon and definitely can't afford the prescription.
@@oscarm.4078 it was the Rybelsus that got me below 7 for my A1c. The doctor said he wanted to keep me on it because my.body was responding to it so well. I kind of feel like his guinea pig honestly. 🤷♀️
Hi Katie! I am a casting assistant looking for people living with T2 Diabetes, who orally take RYBELSUS. We are looking for people to share their stories, and will be paid $1,200 if chosen. If this something you're interested in?
Thanks bud, you review helped a lot. I have lost 15 kgs without semaglutide. I have plateaued hence I am thinking to hop on semaglutide. I want severely restrict my calories around 700. Should I directly start with 7 mg.
Took Rybelsus for 6 weeks, lost 4 lbs, felt awful, dizzy, nauseous, lethargic and couldn't sleep. Now I am on Ozempic with no side effects so far. Swallowing this pill was worse than anything I have ever experienced.
My medical insurance doesn’t cover it because I don’t have diabetes. Rybelsus is little bit less expensive than the injectables like Victoza or Ozempic, but I don’t think the pill form would be as effective as injections.
I have Type 2 and AFib and was originally prescribed Truelicity in November 2022 but it was not available in UK until May 23 because of weight loss users. I have struggled to obtain supplies the last 3 occasions I have had to wait until my last dose before pharmacy was able to supply. In June I requested a further 4 week supply again this was not available so I advised my GP was stopping the medication due to none availability. Truelicity did not give any weight loss in fact I bounce between 105kg and 115kg even with increased gym workouts (7x1hr per week and walking moving 25 miles each week. I also reduced my daily food (cereal breakfast ,1 main meal at lunch and snack tea). I am 10 days into 3mg Rybelsus without any side effects and hope to move up to 7mg on next repeat. My major relief is I am no longer restricted to travelling only where I have refrigeration available to store medication. Jim UK
Great vids I watched the Ozempic one because I was waiting for my insurance to approve and my pharmacy to get it in stock….turns out my insurance has denied Ozempic but will approve this one Rybelsus…..so I was happy to see you did a vid on this too. Thank you!!!
My doctor started me on Rybelsus. I had a starter pack and read how to take it. Basically....you do the hokey pokey every morning...take Rybelsus first thing in the morning, by itself. Don't have more than 4 oz of water. Wait a half an hour and take the rest of your meds, then eat. As soon as it touches your tongue, there is the most awful taste. Since Rybelsus and Ozempic start on a half dose, I called my doc and switched to the injectable Ozempic . I barely feel the needle at all. It sounded great, but I find the injectable to be much better.
Rybelsus made me very sick. Nauseous, dizzy, body aches and lethargy. I tried to stick with it but it just got worse and worse and I started throwing up. Actually laid in bed all day. Stopped for a week and tried again and same results. My doctor was angry and thought I was overly dramatic about it. Learn to say--"try something else, doc!" I take Jardiance now and my blood sugars have been great. The thing to note is if it doesn't work for you try something else--it's your body, after all. You shouldn't have to be miserable.
How dare your doctor be angry or feel any type of way because you were honest enough to share your side effects with them. I would’ve fired their ass and started looking for a new pcp that very day! Doctors work for you - NEVER forget that. Sorry that happened to you and I’m happy you were able to find the medication that agrees with your body.

It is especially hard to find a list of the ingredients contained in the Rybelsus pill, but here they are: • The active substance is semaglutide. Each tablet contains 3, 7 or 14 mg semaglutide. • The other ingredients are salcaprozate sodium, povidone K90, cellulose microcrystalline, magnesium stearate. WHAT IS SALCAPROZATE? It seems that the Semaglutide molecule is too large to fit through the stomach to get into the blood so they add salcaprozate to the pill to "make the spaces of the stomach a little "wider" so the semaglutide can make its way through the stomach to the blood. Officially called an “intestinal permeation enhancer.” Then people who have never heard of gastroparesis can easily develop this condition. Gastro (meaning stomach) and pareses (meaning paralyzed). Gastroparesis is already a side effect of diabetes so diabetics get a double whammy on this.
Been on Rybelsus for 4 weeks at 3mg. 4lbs loss. Hopeful that the weight loss starts speeding up when i start the 7mg. Extreme nausea but no other side effects
Rybelsus (14mg) works FINE for me. I use it along with Farxiga (5mg). My A1C went from 12.1 and it is now 6.7 and I feel GREAT. I lost 20 lbs🎉🎉🎉🎉My other medication Lorsatan for HTN had to be lowered due to the weight loss and I am very active at work. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾? I look and feel Great👍🏾.
I backed out of type 2 and i did it so fast my Dr. Said what did you do? I said i stopped feeding my sugar Sugar. Now there is more to it like low carb in general, ever. I'm going in for another blood test one years later.
I did this last year while trying an Ideal Protein diet. Trouble was, about 2 months of going back to a normal balanced diet... the numbers crept back up again.
Hey Dr. Thanks for details on Rybelses I have been using it for five months and I lost 15 kgs of my weight. It’s a wonderful drug. I have one experience to share with you, when I take 7mg I feel low and I end up eating more . Where as when I take 3mg I feel full longer than usual and I lost more weight in 3mg as compared to 7mg. I am also talking metformin 1000 mg along with this medication. I hope you can answer why I am not able get better results in 7mg than in 3mg?
I’m on 3mg Rybelsus - no side effects I’ve been on it for about 26 days. I have lost 20 pounds. I got a stomach bug from work and have a tummy ache and slight nausea. Is it ok to skip a day or two of Rybelsus?
Jardiance lowered my A1c% by 2.9%, went from 9.5% to 6.6%, however, switching over to a semaglutide, as Jardiance stopped working and blood sugars began rising back up again. Crossing my fingers this works longer!
I’ve taken 3 and now on 7 mg I have nausea, diarrhea and loss of appetite. It’s manageable and my sugar is under 200 which is nice. I haven’t had a lower like that in so long.
I felt terrible on the 7 mg. nauseous, felt sick and had uncontrollable bowels, headache and generally felt unwell. Needless to stay I stopped it.i am now controlling my glucose with the help of the glucose goddess method. Feel much better and more have more energy. Incidentally lost a bit of weight too.
How do you feel about providers prescribing Rybelsus in non-diabetic patients, strictly for weight loss? That seems to be a very common occurrence, and with Wygovy available and to non diabetics, but seldom covered by insurance. Should non diabetic patients be concerned about hypoglycemia when taking Rybelsus?
This medication was awful for me. Every side effect that’s listed on their website I had. Caused huge gastro issues for me. My doctor told me I had Gastroparesis when it was actually the side effects from Rybelsus. Since I’ve stopped taking this med all of the side effects have vanished. Also my insurance did not cover this med. The way I got it was by using the coupon for the product which took the cost to $10 a month. Retail was $926 for a month supply.
Damn it... I have had slow digestion since 2000, which they called gastroparesis, feed, hital hernia and ibs/gastritis because my ovaries/Pcos cause insulin resistance. Been on natural things but sad to hear this med will.most likely trigger some bad side effect in my GI. Damn. I thought it was good. Ty for telling a detailed review of why it didn't work.
I started the 3mg and for a month I was so sick with the side effects I could barely function. I'm glad I don't work, because I don't think I could have. I just couldn't tolerate it.
For those of us who are turning to semiglutide for weight loss, Ryebelus doesn't need refrigeration so you can get it from overseas. Tricare, Medicare etc will not cover semiglutides domestically.
Hi there from Wales 🏴...I’ve suffered from brutal nausea and upset stomach for a month ( Rybelsus 7mg for 8 weeks ) . I felt I wasn’t living; didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything and I may well come off if. But, the run is, I have an issue with over eating which has now basically become unmanageable. Rybelsus helping with satiety sounded like a miracle, something to help me in my fight. I’ve lost weight because my diet is basically fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes ( cereal) and full fat milk....My question after all the rambling is, do you think antiemetics could have a role in taming the brutal nausea etc. allowing the patient to continue taking Rybelsus ? I m already taking omeprazole 20mg daily. Your channel is great, it’s so inclusive.....by and large in the U.K. we’re not exactly encouraged to have a two way ‘conversation’ with our GP about our health concern or medication which is a real shame and wrong. Thank you again. Bernadette
Hi Dr. ! thanks for this great info! Here's my question: when you do the shot, it is 1 mg shot once a week. If that it's the dose per week, why is Rybelsus 7 mgs a DAY? Why is the oral method such a bigger dose? I'm so confused. Thank you.
Was given rybrelsus for insulin resistance and pcos and weight loss because intolerant to Metformin..i read that rybrelsus not good for insulin resistance and can cause weight gain ..im confused.
Thank you for explaining information about Rybelsus. I like to understand the whys and hows. One question or concern I have, in 2014 I had Gastric Sleeve surgery (where the doctor remover 75% of my stomach). After the first 6 months I lost 82 pounds. Sense then I've been slowly gaining back the weight. Now I weigh 374. Anyway, will Rybelsus stick to my stomach wall after Gastric Surgery without trouble? I've taken the 3mg dose and now I'm taking the 7mg dose.
Outstanding question. There is no warning in the prescribing information against using Rybelsus in patients with previous weight loss surgery, but in the clinical trials, people with previous weight loss surgery were excluded from participating due to that exact concern. So we don't really have any data on it. But the worst case scenario would be that the pill would be ineffective and simply pass through you; it's not likely that there would be some sort of harm. So if you're already on it, the decision on whether to continue it would be based on how well it seems to be working.
Thank you Thank you for asking that question. I also had VSG surgery and was wondering the same thing. I am Definitely feeling the side effects and my BS numbers have dropped so I am assuming it is working
My concern is the take it on an empty stomach part. It takes so long for my food to completely digest and it makes me wonder if my stomach is really empty, even if I haven't eaten in 7 - 10 hours. Some mornings I get sick while brushing my teeth and expel food from the day before. How can my stomach be empty if food from the day before still comes up?
You sound like you need more digestive enzymes to help your system break down your food. Many people have this issue. Just find a good plant based enzyme additive.
So why did I get heartburn so bad? I had to stop taking it. I would really like to try it again. Oh, he had me taking it with metformin (2 500mg evening) and 80units tresiba (that I really want to stop taking).... Sugar lows became issue too because kept eating to counteract. Loved your video❣😏
I’ve found that injectable Ozempic makes me really nauseous. And I mean REALLY nauseous with occasional vomiting which is frustrating because other than the nausea I’ve had amazing results from Ozempic (lost 38lbs in 5 months and my blood sugar is nearly perfect). Do you have any management or medication suggestions that I could discuss with my prescribing endocrinologist that could help combat the nausea & vomiting (I’m in the UK) I REALLY don’t want to give up on Ozempic as overall the results I’ve had taking it have been life changing but the near constant nausea is really getting me down now. I should add that I started on the .25 for 4 weeks, then .50 for 4 weeks and then 1.00 for the last 3 months and the nausea isn’t getting any better. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos, I find them incredibly informative and enjoyable.I’ve learnt so much about my blood sugar and diabetes from your videos I feel much more in control of my own destiny!
Smurf Monster Thanks for your feedback; I’m glad you’ve found the videos helpful. Most important thing with reducing nausea while using these meds is reducing meal size. Smaller meals really can make a huge difference (you may already be doing that). Sometimes temporarily reducing the dose can help, or using an anti-nausea medication like ondansetron can help. But 5 months is a long time to have been on it with no improvement. For some people the nausea never goes away and we consider other options if it’s too much. I’d recommend starting with smaller meals if you haven’t already and go from there.
Hi. Thank you for another very interesting video. When you start a GLP-1 medication is it going to be for life? Does this type of medication replace or trigger the GLP-1 hormone produced by the body? Will the body or the intestine stop producing this hormone on its own and be dependent on the medication in the long run? I just heard about hormone pills that they do just that. More Power!
Good question. Theres no reason that it would have to be for life per se, but a lot of people continue with that way because of the fact that it can help reduce cardiovascular risk, which is a lifelong concern. These medications replace/add more of the hormone to the system, rather than activating the intestine to produce more. There’s no evidence to suggest that these medications reduce the amount of GLP-1 that your body makes in the same way that prednisone, for example, can reduce the amount of cortisol that your adrenal glands produce.
If we use it for weight loss, with exercise & healthy eating in how many days we can see the results? what if we stop taking it? does it cause severe muscle loss? does the weight bounce back
I’m on 14 mg of Rybelsus. Weight is dropping. Nauseous yes but dealing with it. My question has to do with packaging. My pills come in a regular pill bottle not the sealed packs that you show in the video. And I have been using a pill case! Should I question my pharmacy on why it’s in a regular bottle?
Thank you for your very informative video. I was on ozempic last January which led me to the ER with a very scary diagnosis of ketoacidosis and put on insulin. One year later I am trying Rybelsus and have made it to 14mg. I also had gastric sleeve surgery several years ago and hugely regret it. I am wondering if this pill has enough stomach to lodge after having 80% of my stomach removed. I am feeling the side effects and my blood sugars are great after 6 days on 14mg so I feel it must be working but wanted your thoughts. I also experienced yesterday what sounded exactly like you described as pancreatitis, worst pain of my life directly in middle of my abdomen, short of breath, scary but subsided after about 10min and was sore for the rest of the day. My Dr said keep taking it and let him know if occurs again. If pancreatitis, would it just go away or should I expect it to return??? Thx again for your great videos!!! 👍
2 months on 4mg... then 7 mg... + 2x metformin :>( .. stay sick from side effects.. worked on 135 sugar now.. was 400 sugar and about to die! now i eat small perfect meals and seems i dont need/ or atleast need lower what im takeing! 14mg seems wayyyy too high!
ok dude, you got my attention...strat, red tele, guild (?) keyboard...anyway, i've been looking for non-injectable answers to my t2. metformin did't sit well for me. my pc doc seems clueless about this stuff, and i'm looking for a specialist. currently taking lantus and victoza (swithcing to trulicity) now but i'm intrigued with rybelsus obviously a pill alternative. i like ur reports, good information, good job. thanks.
@@sugarhighchannel nice! have you posted anything about Prandin (repaglinide)? i'm antsy to ween off of insulin (a1c 6.2 and steady for 2 years) and wondered if this may be a viable substitution? current daily dosage of lantus is 38/34; or does this dosage indicate that there is no other alternative? thanks again. and i have 20+ guitars.
Thanks for an informative video. I’m on Ozempic 0,5 mg for weight loss. I’m managing the side effects quite well and the plan is to gradually increase the dose until I’m on 2,4 mg per week, i.e. the dose that was used in the clinical trial. If I were to switch to Rybelsus, could you tell me which dose I would have to take per day to match the Ozempic 2,4 mg weekly? Thanks a lot!
Currently, there is no approved dose that would match 2.4 mg of Ozempic (at least in the US. I don’t think there are higher doses approved in Europe yet either, but I could be wrong). There are higher doses in the clinical trial phase, but it’ll be a while before those become available.
my sugar was like 400 high!!! they started me on rybelsus 4mg... then after month i went to 7mg.. then 3 months they added 2x 500mg metformine .. finally it came down! :>). made life changes and getting off the meds! side effects terrible!
The 14mg daily oral rybelsus dose would be similar bioavailability to the 2.4mg qwk injection. Bioavailability of injections is around 37% (2.4x 0.37 = 0.8mg /wk) Bioavailability of rybelsus is 0.8 - 1.4%. Greater absorption fasting for > 120 min after dose and with around 4oz or less of water. Assume 1.2% absorption (14mgx7d x 0.012= 1.17mg/wk)
I'm getting ready to start this regimen, and it scares me. I have had a triple bypass, and have also heard of the bad side effects of this, and wonder just how bad this drug really is. Hopefully I'll have a positive outcome...
I took the semiglutide Rybelsus. It made me feel sick all the time, gave me reflux and dry heaves. Without consulting my doctor I stopped taking it after 9 months. I do take metformin for diabetes type 2. I just got my A1c test result. My A1c number went down! plus I did not gain any weight. I feel so much better and glad I decided I am not going to live a life of drug induced reflux and dry heaves and who knows what else that semiglutide path had in store for me.
I take trulicity (yellow one) but I HATE needles. When I take the trulicity sometimes it’s very painful. I don’t know why it happens that way. Sometimes I barely feel the injection and then other times it stings A LOT. Anyway, my question is if I’m already taking trulicity do you know if the side effects might be different with rybelsus? I understand that different people can have different side effects with medications. I just I guess I just wanted to know if because I’m already taking a GPL- 1 medication, might I experience a not as strong reaction?
I knew I was going to lose my health insurance so my doctor gave me a 30 day prescription for 14 mg and told me to cut in in thirds and take 1 of those “thirds” daily. I’m concerned, though, because the instructions say not to cut or crushed pill. Is cutting the pill going to cause any issues with it working properly or does the drug company just say not to do that because they don’t want you to split up the doses to save some money (like I’m trying to do)? I’ve been on the actual 3 mg pills for 5 months (he never increased my dose) and just now am needing to start cutting the 14 mg pills.
That was exactly what l did. Because all were the same price where l gott mine. So I thought, why not get the 14mg. Chopped one into 4 for the first few. Then into two. So far, so good. Just an insignificant nausea. Unfortunately, l still eat the same size but with intermittent fasting, and exercise at least 6 a week, for over an hr and weight is slowly and consistently coming off. When l finish this pack, will stay off for a month, just to see the effect.
@@MsDeoR I’m glad you’re doing well on it! I’d love to know how you do once you go off for a month. I’m going to be in that situation soon, and am worried the food noise will start up again. Hope it all continues to go well for you!!

I'm type 2 diabetic and on metformin prescribed by my doctor. I have bought rybelsus privately and have been using it for around 4 months. I've lost over 2 stone in weight and zero side effects. Should I keep taking my metformin alongside it or stop? I have a diabetes check up in a couple of weeks but I feel like I may have reversed it with the rybelsus
Can you take two of the 3 milligram tablets then to help increase dosage before going to the red 7 milligram. Two of the threes gets you six which is just one short of the 7 milligram?
Just started Rybelsus yesterday and I think I’m seeing some reductions in spikes, but I’m wondering how long you (or others) think it might take to cut down daily basal reqs? Also, with regard to the injection vs. oral distinction, are there any potential disparities in efficacy (ie I know that we have to take it on an empty stomach)? If so, what would/could those factors be aside from an empty stomach + the buffer time?

Thank you for intelligently explaining this without making me feel lost or treating me as if I were lacking the ability to follow your thinking. ❤

@@Sophiamia6960 I've lost 9lbs in one week well 6 days, it really is a game changer, you just Don't feel hungry.
It's 2023 now and I've been subscribed this medication. I was confused, scared and worried by the lack of information and the information given was all of the above mentioned. This video was informative in a way that I can understand and I now know the why's of all the specicfic ways to take ths medication. Thank you so much and I have subscribed.
Hey there i hope all is well! How is your results now? Have you lpst significant weight?
I was on Ozempic for a little longer than a year. The jab didn't bother me but I also felt the drug's performance was lack luster. Within 2 doses of Rybelsus I could feel it was a game changer. No appreciable side effects and my belly monster has been slain! I have been able to go OMAD easily and naturally cut back on my portion sizes. I hate some folks' systems rejected it but for whom it works it will make all the difference.
Did you take rybelsus 14mg directly?
Or did you stsrt with 3mg?
That's exactly how I felt.
@@miiim Sorry I didn't see your question until a year later. My notifications betray me sometimes. Anyway, I am sure you got it sorted out by now but I didn't want you to think I had been rude. Cheers!
This is the best explanation/review of a medication I have ever seen! The music was overpowering but outside of that, great work!!!
Rybelsus. Lost 10 pounds. Appetite changed. A1c coming down. Taking it since the end of January 2021. Replaced Victoza. I am excited. Can’t wait for results over time. It’s not right for everybody but it was right for me.
Glad you're doing well!! Best wishes!
Starting taking 14 mg. On my 5th day and I am sick.
I just started this last week, 🙏 it helps me because I've about had it with all else.
Starting the lowest dose you feel nauseous on it at all cuz the doctor told me it's the weakest one at start
It will be normal in how many days? Pls share Ur experience@@moniquelucero2555

Glad it was helpful!
I've been taking this for the past 2 weeks. No side affects, blood sugar at record lows. Solid.

Just started my rybelsus pills a couple of days ago. Thank you for breaking it down for us!
How was the first low dose starting Monday any side effects at all

I have been on Mounjaro for 7 months lost 24lbs and A1C is great 5.9 and now looking for a non shot maintenance drug. Thinking about Rybelsus. This has been very helpful
Literally the bes explanation I’ve seen! Thank you
Very helpful! Will start this med this week. Needed to know I couldn't break it in half. This answered my question!
Please share ur experience mam did u feel nausea and vomiting? For how many days and now u r ok?
Honestly if your A1c isn't above 7 or 8 i would stay away
The intermittent fasting and low carbs should be enough
@@oscarm.4078 it was the Rybelsus that got me below 7 for my A1c. The doctor said he wanted to keep me on it because my.body was responding to it so well. I kind of feel like his guinea pig honestly. 🤷♀️

Took Rybelsus for 6 weeks, lost 4 lbs, felt awful, dizzy, nauseous, lethargic and couldn't sleep. Now I am on Ozempic with no side effects so far. Swallowing this pill was worse than anything I have ever experienced.
absolutely horrible taste
@@KCFlyer2 agreed!
My medical insurance doesn’t cover it because I don’t have diabetes. Rybelsus is little bit less expensive than the injectables like Victoza or Ozempic, but I don’t think the pill form would be as effective as injections.
Daily dose or weekly?!

PA David, your explanations are thorough and easy to follow. I have subscribed.
Thank you for putting this easy to follow video together. It was very helpful
Great vids I watched the Ozempic one because I was waiting for my insurance to approve and my pharmacy to get it in stock….turns out my insurance has denied Ozempic but will approve this one Rybelsus…..so I was happy to see you did a vid on this too. Thank you!!!
Just got some samples in our office. Used your video to review the medication. Thanks sir. JZ PA-C
My Dr. Started me at the full 14mg dose and I got sicker than I’d been in my entire life.
I miss your excellent videos, David! This was another great example.
I'm starting the low dose that's all I want Everyones body different I sure don't want to I don't want to be else not for me so did you lose an pounds
That doc is crappy

It is especially hard to find a list of the ingredients contained in the Rybelsus pill, but here they are:
• The active substance is semaglutide.

I noticed this too.on my second week, I'm eating more.
Interesting, I wonder why is that? So you feel like you can lose weight easily just by taking the 3 mg instead of the 7 mg?
I’m on 3mg Rybelsus - no side effects I’ve been on it for about 26 days. I have lost 20 pounds. I got a stomach bug from work and have a tummy ache and slight nausea. Is it ok to skip a day or two of Rybelsus?

Jardiance lowered my A1c% by 2.9%, went from 9.5% to 6.6%, however, switching over to a semaglutide, as Jardiance stopped working and blood sugars began rising back up again. Crossing my fingers this works longer!

If the patient tale thyroid hormone too. What indication give it?
How effective and safe is this medication ?
Thanks, i appreciate your explanation
This medication was awful for me. Every side effect that’s listed on their website I had. Caused huge gastro issues for me. My doctor told me I had Gastroparesis when it was actually the side effects from Rybelsus. Since I’ve stopped taking this med all of the side effects have vanished.
Also my insurance did not cover this med. The way I got it was by using the coupon for the product which took the cost to $10 a month. Retail was $926 for a month supply.
Same!
Mine came in pill bottle and not a blister pack. Has this changed since this video was posted?
Mine too and mine don’t have that horrible taste everyone speaks of

I started the 3mg and for a month I was so sick with the side effects I could barely function. I'm glad I don't work, because I don't think I could have. I just couldn't tolerate it.
What kind of side effects you had
I got the nausea bad too. I am still on it and was hoping it would go away but its not going.
The 3 mg made you sick?
Bernadette
Lots of people take anti emetic to help, even if you buy this privately, speak to your GP about it and they may help with the nausea.
I started 7 MG just a week ago. No side effects and lost 5 pounds.
Hi Dr. ! thanks for this great info! Here's my question: when you do the shot, it is 1 mg shot once a week. If that it's the dose per week, why is Rybelsus 7 mgs a DAY? Why is the oral method such a bigger dose? I'm so confused. Thank you.
Em função da absorção no organismo, me parece que a absorção é muito menor😢
@@sugarhighchannel Thank you for answering my question. I've lost 10 pounds so it must be working. :D
If you had to take other medication for other health problems how would you take this medicine when adding other medication.
Sugar High,Informative as usual, especially the advice about meal size which I know applies to me.Thanks
@jo sa so I didn’t need that 3 level spinal fusion either then, I should have left it to heal itself and been in a wheelchair?
If it delays stomach emptying, wouldn't that cause bloat and constipation?

This was very informative!!!
Very helpful info, thank you.
Are the side effects more manageable? currently on the injection and its making me throw up almost daily.
Thanks you 😘
If we use it for weight loss, with exercise & healthy eating in how many days we can see the results? what if we stop taking it? does it cause severe muscle loss? does the weight bounce back
I have trouble swelling pills in general. I usually cut it or dissolve in water. Why can’t I do it with this one? Any option?

Bioavailability of injections is around 37% (2.4x 0.37 = 0.8mg /wk)
Bioavailability of rybelsus is 0.8 - 1.4%.
Question; do I need to change my blood pressure Med first ? Losartan/HCTZ. Don’t want muscle cramping. So annoying.
Hello sir.....how long rybelsus we have to use....after reducing weight...if we stopped rybelsus ...body stick on reduced weight....or again will like all weight loss treatment s
But FDA site also mentioned never ending side-effects and some horrific side-effects like increase risk of some sort of thoriod cancer and pancerace cancer . Read articles in website by yourself and be judge.
Is the 3mg dose effective for Insulin Resistance? My Endo has me on that. I don’t have Diabetes.
Is it ok to take when i take my other meds?
I've been on 3 mg for almost 20 days now. After I finish this pack I'll start the 7 my. When should I start seeing results?
Dang, you may be wasting your time and money. Are you following the directions?
@@written2382 I've lost 80 pds
I'm type 2 diabetic and on metformin prescribed by my doctor. I have bought rybelsus privately and have been using it for around 4 months. I've lost over 2 stone in weight and zero side effects. Should I keep taking my metformin alongside it or stop? I have a diabetes check up in a couple of weeks but I feel like I may have reversed it with the rybelsus
What are the effects of this medication on the kidneys and urinary tract?
Could I give up metformin as this new reybelsus I’m on 7mg
Hi Raphael! I am a casting assistant looking for people living with T2 Diabetes and who orally take RYBELSUS. We are looking for people to share their stories, and will be $1,200 if chosen. If this something you're interested in?
@@FranchescaMilagro Hi Franchesca! I would have loved to participate, but unfortunately, I am a Type 1 Diabetic. So sorry about that!
@@epsiIonyx All good! Thank you for responding.
I honestly think Rybellis will work better for me than saxenda
What can be taken to reduce the nausea?
I'm gonna have to see if this is available in Mexico yet. I'll report back with price.
Have you found patients find the recommended fasting before and after taking affects compliance?
Please let me know I live near border and my meds are over 1400 a month so if I can get th cheaper to get off my ramen noodle diet because I literally am spending more on meds then food or anything else. Thanks
@@melissamilstead3786 there are really good natural meds for diabetes 2: berberine, Ceylon cinnamon, oil of oregano, bitter melon, alpha lipoic acid, Thai green tea/green tea, beets, wheat grass to name a few. Certain brands are better than others but it could be less money if you tried a little bit of the natural arena. I didn't even know that insulin wasn't a cure and my endocrine doctor says not one person has come off of insulin. I hope this helps..
NECESITO LAS EXPLICAR EN ESPAÑOL POR FAVOR
So, what are the other comparisons with Ozempic? Like A1c reduction?
How soon after taking it can you eat/drink?
Great video.
Pink Paws you can eat, drink, or take other medications 30 minutes after taking Rybelsus.
Make sure to eat something 30 minutes after taking it. It helps with the nausea
How long can you take rybelsis for ?
