picked up my zr-v e:hev back in dec. very happy with the build quality as well as the fuel efficiency. averaging at 4.3l/100km.

This is a great family car and certainly priced better than a Civic, drives better than a RAV4 but is roomier in the back than a CX-5. If only Honda sold sedans in Australia that were as good a package as this is, and at a sharp price point.

A very good car by Honda - got the LX. Feels normal to drive and has big mirrors. Terrific urban car with a very good size and comfortable interior. The motor is fast enough I feel. Slightly more road noise and the shifter being a big clunky is more only downside. Would highly recommend it and hope to see more new ZRV's, CRV's and Civic's on the road soon.

Very few of the new Civics on the road as they are overpriced.

If you could get hold of a 2024 Ssangyong Rexton Ultimate Sport would be great to see overall performance & a review !

I've got this car, it's very quick for what it is. Vti-l seems to be the right trim level to get I reckon. Perfect family car that doesn't drive like a family car.

Will you also be trying the CRV 1.5 Turbo AWD?

I’d love to see a “street start” acceleration figure, you know normal drive mode and floor it, not so much for slow cars like this, but on cars you use launch control and get 4s 0-100 times, it’d be a real world representation of their daily performance as when the lights turn green and you just go, very rarely is anyone selecting sport modes changing traction and stability modes and engaging launch control etc…

We did. Check out near the end of the video. We tried D and S, just flooring it; no rev build up. We always run the Vbox with all modes, including not building the revs on the brake 👍

I really dislike CVT’s. Sad to see them used across the entire range.

The 0-50 km/h time is surprisingly slow, as always with this type of CVT, and the fake gear shifts are depressing.

No auto locking doors when you drive off, quite dangerous

I'm pretty sure it has that feature. In the videos I usually lock the doors manually before I set off, just so you can't hear a sudden 'clunk' as the doors lock during filming.
I also remove all loose items from the cabin, boot and glove box so it's nice and quiet, or as quiet as possible - only engine sound👍

      it doesn't come with auto-locking doors. i've got the zr-v e:hev and it doesn't have it. @@drivingenthusiastaustralia

@@m3csl89 Ok. Fair enough. I didn't actually check that, I was simply assuming as most cars do.

LOL... just lock the car manually. We have become so reliant on automation that we can't even do simple tasks anymore.
