At 5:50 Capaldi is eating a prawn cracker (basically a mixture of prawns, flour and water to make a very light and easily snack-able food), not a crisp. It is served alongside any self-respecting Chinese taking away in the UK. I'm pretty sure they also appeared in a Torchwood episode where the crew mistook them for rice cakes. Hope I informed any who were unaware .
I absolutely loved 'Knock Knock' and for me is another underrated gem from Series 10. I'm a huge sucker for haunted house stories and this one was suitably atmospheric and creepy. Taking into account that this was Mike Bartlett's (the creator of Doctor Foster) first Doctor Who, it's an impressive first outing. The explanation for the whole mystery with the house was good, the ever-amazing David Suchet was brilliant and the makeup alone deserves an award on its own.
It's easily one of the hest episodes of Doctor Who series 10. I think a lot of it is because of David Suchet. He gives such a genuinely warm performance because he genuinely isn't evil. Just a lonely scared little boy essentially.
David Suchet played Poirot (an Agatha Cristie (Ten and Donna met her and the big wasp) detective character) on tv here in the UK for like over 20 years! It was a pretty big deal that he popped up in Who! :D
Another nice episode from the solid tenth series. And such great performance from David Suchet. But the best episodes of series 10 are still around the corner, beginning next week.
Not to spoil anything, but I'm surprised they haven't figured out what's behind the door yet. I think this episode pretty much told you what was behind the door.

Bill drove me nuts in this episode. She has this "ya take me places and show me exciting things but don't expect me to hang out with you with my friends". She spends the first half of the episode acting like a jerk then is like "oh there's trouble now I have time for The Doctor"
That phrase means an improbable or non sensical explanation, which since A: We don’t know how the powers work. And B: It’s Doctor Who, this happens all the time so it wasn’t out of nowhere meta wise. That shouldn’t remove your displeasure but I don’t agree with your reasoning.
PLEASE. PPLEASE. React to Doctor WHO Proms 2013. It is Christmas and is the best moment to react to this beautiful concert. Fist, it used to be presented in november, second you will see kids and dads sharing their time of their live. PLEASE.
I feel like this episode had a lot of potential but I think the execution of it in the end was very disappointing - plus, David Suchet has been an incredible actor but in this I felt he was not very good at all, sadly
To be fair, I don't think Suchet was given much to work with, though it was kind of interesting to see him play creepy. Such a waste, they should have created a bigger role in the franchise for him. The man could practically have been a Seventh Doctor if McCoy hadn't been available.
This is one of my least favorite episode of the season .. mediocre at best. Bills friends are very one dimensional but the interplay between Bill and The Doctor is still enjoyable , even though we don’t get much of it in this episode . I didn’t care when they died nor when they came back ( which was an easy resolution). The atmosphere is well done though and David Suchet is good , especially towards the end .

I agree. They're well written and directed, they look good and there are some great acting performances.
My opinion on season 10 is that Smile is a bit meh and I don't like the monk three parter but that everything else is pretty solidly good to great.
