- Join me on an epic method feeder session for only 80p … these days we are all pushed with the latest must have products and things you apparently NEED to be able to catch fish. I want to remind you that's really not true, you can have a superb method feeder session with cheap baits using only bread and corn ! Some great catches and action in this one for only 80 pence worth of bait!

Awesome Westy awesome…great vid .. I’m the same ..grind me bread .. I soak pellets add bread add some ground bait .. plus freeze what I don’t use … goes to show you don’t have to spend loads on bait .. my hook bait his pellets on feeder they are £1.99 for about 1 hundred pellets .. so they last long long time .. I have come across many fish with deformed mouths but healed .. but when you caught that lovley common & you treated it & caught it again healed wow .. I paused vid & ordered 2 carp care solution.. thanks for that buddy .. buzzing vid that you can handle 2 rods on feeder .. awesome buddy.. Thank you! Yes I also freeze what I don’t use, defrosts perfect and ready to go. I think a lot of the match guys you see on TH-cam are just selling the ground baits and products . I don’t want the channel to be like that . I want the younger generation getting into fishing to know you don’t have to spend fortunes to catch ! I couldn’t believe I caught the same fish ! I was so so shocked what are the chances ! Haha but you could see the solution had worked which was amazing. I’m glad you liked the vid Chris, double feeders are definitely unnecessary but exciting 😂 !

Bread is the only bait I use these days! I catch plenty of carp, tench, bream, rudd, roach, barbel and chub on it. Aldi 79p white thick sliced!!!!! Works for me. I always use scissors to cut the bread for hook bait!!
save the two crusts (put in bag or bin with lid in the garage or just buy some cheapo tesco own loaf) - after a couple of weeks grind it ( I use a blender) down to crumb as you need it, you can store the crumb in another bin. The secret is keep it dry even an airing cupbard which stops the mould forming. Great video mate.

I’m only recently back to fishing after many years away. I’ve literally just bought myself a new feeder rod this week! Method feeders are all new to me! My question is - do you think bread would equally work as well with a map embed/banjo style feeder? Just found your channel this week - as I’ve been looking for feeder tips/info. Really enjoying your content!!
Actually works better with banjo feeders buddy as you can press the bread in firmly. It will still break down the same 👌🏻

Bread is an awesome bait. I mix mine with blended biscuits and bran (weetabix) on the hook, whatever comes to hand, mostly bread discs on bait stop. If I want it popped up I use a disc of rig foam followed by the bread punch. Good vid as usual mate, thanks for upload.

Love your vids mate and yes it looked like the same fish a good way to hook corn is pull the band into the corn and when it opens up it's secure in the corn and hidden and a band if you what to fish pellets or though bread

Harry’s pool looked perfect mate and nice to see a change up from micro/ground bait. I always take a tin of corn along with my wafters sometimes it’s a great change up bait and others it is used to feed the ducks lol. Strange thing is if you feed the ducks it can stir an interest from the Carp if things are a little slow.
I have found that as well len ! Like the fish panic take the bait ! Definitely a great bait, pink wafters are my go to, then corn after that definitely! 👌🏻
What a great session, I’d have gone upto 90p for a day like that. Who said Yorkshiremen are stingy.
Usually I fish same f bread and corn but using a cage feeder . Definitely worth trying the flatbed feeders next time 👍

Bread and corn awesome baits 👌 .. catch anything pretty much.. I use corn in a band like that on the pole 👍 good for lumps out the margins.
I think people forget how affective they are sometimes, me included. Very easy to get hung up on wafters pellets etc
@@WestysAngling yea a lot of them baits are just money makers tbh.. iv always been a fan of corn.. other than pellet I think there's nothing better. Pellet is so good because it's what all these commercial fish are raised on.
I use bread alot when feeder fishing with corn but I use red lava rock to dye the corn red.i always catch aswell
I have tried lava rocks before, they definitely have their uses!

Class just shows if moneys tight you can get 2 maybe 3 sessions for 80p and clean up West can catch thats for sure deffo same fish as just watched vid you healed it other day

No mate I’m a tight arse. It got really busy after I started doing videos here so I think he capitalised on that and hiked up the prices.
Use a quick stop for your corn

I came looking for this comment because I wondered same. Cheers for clearing that up westy, can't say I've noticed that fish are more wary of bait stops but I rarely use elastic. Will definitely bear this in mind for next time and try it out!
