Florida girl here, obsessed with snowflakes. lol Literally just finished some resin snowflake jewelry last night. This is brilliant! Results were fantastic.
You are the god of resin. I am honored to say I was there from the beginning before your TH-cam channel. The swirls you were making then were amazing and you are getting even more amazing each time! ❤
Beautiful, Daniel! I have a real thing for ❄! Thanks for the links - I finally found a US supplier for Vallejo Frost Effects - YAY! Can't wait to experiment! ✌🤟
Found you by my Google video recommendations. I am glad to say Google finally gets it right. New subscriber for your patience and creativity. Look forward to the future.
OM❤ …. I have gotten my Frost effect Vallejo (From Germany. I’m in US). After seeing you video, NOW I am ready to make these! Thank you so very much❄️❄️❄️
That turned out amazing so delicate I did try to make the snowflake free hand after waisting so many of the liquid 😅 will share soo. But you definitely created a beauty 😍.
@@daniel..cooper we also do embroidery. I have been thinking about what we can use in resin. Wondering if we do an embroidered lace flake and put the Valajo on it, if it would work. Thinking that the lace would not have the fine detail that you got, but someday I think I will try it anyway.
Oh!!! Now _that_ is amazing and gorgeous, Daniel! It definitely takes some patience to "build" a snowflake, and you did such a beautiful job! Thank you for the tutorial! 😊👍💕
Hey Daniel, I recently ordered three of those Frost inks and tried them out using layers in the UV resin and OMG the pieces I made looked amazing, one of the pieces I made was the Frost effects down onto the same pendant mold you have and then did a clear layer then went and did blue dyed resin last layer, I then pulled out the piece and went back over the top of the cabochon and it looked amazing. I made a necklace from it and it sold right away. Thank you for these tutorials, I am going to try this string effect today but do a different pattern. Can't wait to try it out. Also have a Merry Christmas 2023.
Oh my god it’s amazing loved it and I love all your videos, I’m new to your channel but I really appreciate you and your knowledge in resin and how you keep on it till you get it perfectly, thank you so much for sharing your amazing art, I was wondering if you can try to make the Larimar stone, it has been done on a coaster but I was thinking if it’ll work on a small scale like a pendant. I really appreciate it if you would. ❤❤❤
Wow. That’s a lot of patience you have there. Gorgeous snowflake. I keep trying to get that frost but it’s been sold out for a long time. ❤ your videos.
Absolutely amazingly gorgeous Daniel. Wow!!! Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent with us all. Love this effect. Hopefully I can find this in Canada 🇨🇦 Take care and keep creating ❤❤❤
@@daniel..cooper I thoroughly enjoy your creativity Daniel. I have just found out I have a brain tumour , so playing around with resin has become my medication....lol. You inspire me greatly . Thank you !! Love from Aus xxx
ll if you warm your uv resin up a bit, it will really help eliminate those micro bubbles… uû😮 This was just gorgeous! I love snowflakes!!! You are so talented, Daniel… it is such a joy to watch you create these beautiful works of art!
That is so cool!! I just got my special FX stuff yesterday. Really excited now to try it! I ordered it on Ebay. I couldn't order it in the U.S. here yet. Short story. I have used some gold dust type stuff like that white powder you used. I have fan in my work area. I doubt I need to explain what happened next.
Daniel,I found the ice effect stuff in my local haoby gaming shop here in Australia for $7 (Au). I have had a couple of trys but no real success, will kept at it tho. really like your last one.
That is beautiful. Do you think it would work with a very fine gauge wire instead of the thread? It would let you have more control over the base structure of the snowflake. I have as small as 36 gauge stainless steel wire. One other idea is would it work on wood? Depending on the type, I think the grain patterns could cause some interesting results. IE: Have a small wood blank, and draw the snowflake on that, then top with clear resin.
hi Daniel - have you tried using one of those needle tip bottle to apply the FX liquid? maybe pinch the tip a bit to restrict the flow if the liquid? i'd try it, but i havent been able to find it yet.
Hi Daniel, loved the snowflake. Got a bottle of Vallejo from amazon, followed your video --NOTHING! not a single reaction at all. Any ideas as to what might have gone wrong? Avid follower of your work.
This looks amazing, I don't have the patience to do all the fine detail. Great job!
Thank you 😊

@bobswihart definitely worth a test run, I thought about paper snowflakes but it would probably defeat the need for the vallejo 😂
That’s amazing! Great job being so meticulous with it, it’s not going to look like a snowflake ❄️ if it’s all haphazard. Nicely done Daniel.😊
Thank you 😊 I'm so chuffed that it works 😊😊😊
You are amazing!!!!
Thanks 😊
Superb 👌🏼
Thank you 😊
That is so cool! I love it!

If you scoop that light glitter in a small container, it will work out so better.

Awesome, it took me 3 days of testing so be patient 😀 Sometimes less is best 😊
Outstanding and truly lovely❤ I wonder if the frost effect is the same as the window frost stuff in spray cans?
Thanks Pam, no, this is completely different 😊😊😊
How would spritzing the resin with isopropyl to get rid of the bubbles affect the vallejo?
That is beautiful. Do you think it would work with a very fine gauge wire instead of the thread? It would let you have more control over the base structure of the snowflake. I am absolutely delighted with your work. How long do you have to wait for the snowflake to become like this? One hour 12 hours?
It is in stock on Amazon
😮 beautiful
Can one use epoxy resin rather than uv
Sure can 😊
I wonder if this could be utilized in the making of dice?
Yes, a dice maker has tried and it worked 😁
hi Daniel - have you tried using one of those needle tip bottle to apply the FX liquid? maybe pinch the tip a bit to restrict the flow if the liquid? i'd try it, but i havent been able to find it yet.
by apply it i mean applying it to the cotton thread...
Not yet, it would be handy for some applications 😊😊. Check the links in the description box, another viewer just ordered some 😊😊

Try using less liquid, it can be a pain to learn how it works but once you got it, you won't go wrong.
ciao dove hai preso la vernice Vallejo FX Frost ? grazie
I ordered the Vallejo product and getting ANY crystals to grow is hit and miss- what am I missing? temperature? UV resin base? humidity or low? 🤷♀🤷♀
