This car replaces the Passat. This is a nice car indeed.

The Tourer is looking good and would be my preference as a dog owner. However the boot is only 540 litres, the same as ID.4 which is almost £10k cheaper in the UK. I have an ID.4 and would probably get another updated version for the same software and drivetrain as ID.7 for less money.
2 years and 40 kkm with iX3. Perhaps once did we wish we had a frunk.
you will miss it when you have it... an EV without a frunk is not state of the art... typical for legacy automakers 👻
I would take the ID7 over a Tesla definitely. Nicer seats, instruments for the driver, a practical hatchback and still has stalks behind the steering wheel. One downside is capacitive controls on the steering wheel. For me, a frunk is nice to have but I don't have to have it.

Surprised the tourer dont got more storage, would assume its 100-200 liters more.
Makes me question the purpose of the tourer then? Even more legroom?
Anyways those cars are really really long lol! But looks and feels very refined.
The funk on our Tesla Model Y is great for one thing only, camping, otherwise we never use it, if it was powered maybe it would be sued more. Love the cabin space on the ID 7 with the short front end, likely a better choice for moving people rather than goods!
