I am continually amazed at all the different kinds of smart these farmers have to be! Biology and engineering and animal care and meteorology and customer service and budgeting and veggie cuisine and baby wrangling all at the same time!
I admire farmers so much and wish everyone appreciated them more. Without you, how could we live? We need you to feed us and I FOR ONE, THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART.
We don’t see enough of grandma. It looks like she cooks a lot of good food. If she doesn’t want to be on camera that much, would it be possible to throw one of her recipes in the description every once in a while. I love the big, extended family that works together without getting hung up on what job belongs to each person. Being able to move from job to job to help which ever family member needs help is truly a testament to the way you all were raised. Kudos to grandma and grandpa.
So excited about the baby calf, so glad mom cow had no problems. Can't wait til the potato machine is fixed. I feel like such a part of this farm, it's such a feel good channel😊 can't wait to see what we are having for lunch and dinner 😁 love Callie, she's adorable 😊 miss my grandma's pies, love seeing Grammy making pies. I'm a Grammy too 😍
Hey Veggie Boys. I'm watching from Jamaica.🇯🇲. My 77 year old mom introduced me to your channel. She is a container farmer. She started when Covid hit. You are an inspiration to her. She grows bell peppers, scotch bonnet and pak choi for our family. Keep on inspiring.
Amen to mom! I will be 72 next month and I'm setting here looking at my garden that was! I've got everything harvested but carrots. I wanted to wait till it froze, I hear it makes them sweeter. This is my first garden I've been able to plant and harvest ever and I am so pleased with what I was able to accomplish with Yehovah's help cuz I had no idea what I was doing. I preyed and asked God to bless my garden and and to teach me what to do and He truly has. I say strength and Blessings to the mom's and grandma's that are out there taking care of business !
Great video! Love Dad! I really like when he explains farming to us. He is a tremendous wealth of knowledge. My husband and I watch together and we both commented on how there is alot to farming. You have to be a jack of all trades. It certainly not just planting and picking. You have machinery to maintain and feed to provide and somuch more. Ya'll are amazing and appreciated 💕
Thank you for the great video! Callie gets me every time! Dad's explanations are always welcome and informative (Andrew's are too) I see the colors changing; such a beautiful time of year! Oh, I hadn't noticed ANY member of the family likes to talk! :) A social group which is social within the group! Good stuff for human beings!
Andrew I was very grateful for being able to harvest tomatoes all the way to mid October this year. It was a very good growing season. I thank God for him blessing me with a wonderful harvest. Did I get all the tomatoes I wanted no but I did get enough to feed several people this year. My list of people who are homeless disabled elderly on set incomes or family and friends gets longer every year. I am praying for a piece of ground that I can grow a big garden on and be able to help everyone on the list. I canned 350 quarts of salsa 200 pints of salsa. And I made a bunch of tomato sauce for spaghetti or lasagna or any kind of pasta dish you can think of. I love to make huge pots of vegetable soup during the winter months and then take it to the elderly folks around here. A little soup and some sweet corn bread and you have a great meal. That makes you feel good inside.
Andrew I just want to thank you and your family because I've learned so much about vegetable farming. The difference between peppers. Just so much information. You guys are great.
It’s always nice when a new calf is born so congratulations on that verse… But I can’t say that I like the name Carl but maybe it’s a significant name to your Dad… We can only hope so…It kind of reminds me of the movie Rudolph and none of the kids wanted to play with Him (just because of his name !!)😁😄😩) LOL I bet you guys hate to see winter coming… The frost is going to make you have to really hurry to get everything finally picked and up and out of the fields!! We’ve been spoiled with Callie saying bye-bye to us And it’s just not the same if she doesn’t!😊❣️❣️ She sure is growing and seems to be talking more as well❣️I am glad she likes to eat just about whatever you guys put in front of her because it’s really difficult if you have a picky eater. I had two little granddaughters that were very, very picky Eaters!! It will be interesting to see what you guys do on the farm choose a winter!
Seems like a bunch of hardworking farmers who understand the importance of doing your share of work for everyone to share in the success of the farm. Impressive family effort.
Congratulations on the new calf. A boy! Tell Pops he could have been a little more creative on the name. “Carl” the calf?😳🤨 Hopefully all goes well with him growing up to being “Strong like Bull”.😜 Keep up the great work y’all.👍
I was raised on a dairy farm. My mother had a huge garden which I hated because of all the work. As an old man I now appreciate all the vegetables. I love everything green and eat as much as I can get. I have a lot of memories that you evoke from your farm. Thanks for the memories!
Hey Farmer, Carl is a nice selection and I'm not saying that because my father's name was Carl. Bless my Father's soul. I would had selected thunder because of the storm and it;s also a male. Nice selection..
You guys are by far my favorite videos to watch...I make sure to get on here everyday...sure wish I lived closer so I could purchase your veggies, I would be there every week...lol...I also learn so much from Josh when hes in the field explaining things. My garden was horrible this year so Ill try again next year...lol. Thanks Josh's dad for explaining frost verses freezing, had no idea.
Maybe you should do a vlog on all the modern agricultural machineries you use. Very interesting to watch how manual labor can be relieved using the ease of modern machineries
Here in northern Michigan we had a very good growing season. What blessing that is. You all are such hard workers. Keep up the good work feeding families! 🥒🥔
Bye bye sweet Callie Rose... You are sooo sweet, despite being tired you were waiting for your turn to say your incredible buhbye... Bless you. Carl??? Black Pants Carl lol Congrats nice calf. I am glad to see that you suffered no harvest damage from the frost.
Congratulations Andrew on the new calf Carl he looks content near his mother.I thought what your dad said about a freeze and frost was very interesting in relationship to how long a vegetable lasts in cold weather.
Hello, what a beautiful calf, and the Napa cabbage looked so good, those other heads of cabbage looked good to, the peppers are great too, and your babygirl she’s so sweet, thank you so much for sharing that with me, you and your family have a good evening
The best part of farming is harvesting. I could pick some peppers, and napa cabbage. Not sure about the cabbage they are Humongous.. they are bigger than me.. lol
please show what you do with the fields after you harvest the veggies. Do you till what's left of the plants under? It would be interesting to have a video showing one field from harvest through planting again
Enjoyed our visit with your family today. Was great seeing the market. Look forward to your videos each week. Really educational and entertaining at the same time. The sweet corn was great.
Congratulations, mama càrl.

Speaking as a man named Carl, I think it's a great name for a calf...
His brother has a channel too "the stable life" all about the horses they care for and BOY oh BOY do they take good care of the horses they board!
