"We put irrigation on it, and then the rain got scared that it's being replaced so then it just started raining and it hasn't stopped yet." :D I laughed out loud
Even though I grew up in farm country (not a farmer) I am still amazed at the equipment available on the farms....from hay balers to bean pickers ... what a testament to the engineers around the world.
Pray for the farmers because the WEF psychos & the Govt skum are attacking us (the common people) and specifically farmers and truckers etc and the food supply here in the US and around the world with fertilizer restrictions and high cost, making them cull their animals, 10,000 mysteriously dead cows, droughts and through various methods like fire, explosions, plane crashes etc on other parts of the food supply chain while Billy Goats Gaytes now owns the MOST farmland in the USA about 250,000 acres, bought with the 120 BILLION coof 19 scam money while they are investing in lab grown meat, bugs and GMO soy (soy which reduces testosterone). Its a w^r and we are under attack and few are fighting it or even talking about it, it's truly the Twilight Zone.
I’d love to see you guys do a sit down chat in the winter with the boys and dad and just talk about what it was like to teach a bunch of little boys how to run the equipment, pick ripe vegetables and take care of the animals. I can only imagine all the hilarious stories from your childhood!
yes. that sweet corn has the stickyness of sugar. oh yes. the rain got scared if the irrigation replacing it lol. so what happened in California. the rain just surrender? you are so funny. God bless
Wow is she getting big! You ppls out there I hope you appreciate just how smart farmers are. They know what to plant and where to plant and what time to plant. Then they know when to harvest and how much at a particular time. They now the mechanical stuff to fix equipment. They understand and care for their livestock. And let’s not forget how much they know about flowers. These folk love what they do and love their family. Let’s all pray for their health and safety and most of all…for the all the blessing our good Lord will bestow upon them. ✝️❤️
Andrew she gets cuter by the day. It's Amazing how fast they grow up. I would love to be able to turn the clock back and do it all over again. I raised my children by myself a single dad with a boy and a girl. The perfect little family. I stayed single so I could concentrate on my kids. I loved every minute of it too. They are grown now and have kids of their own. I get to spoil them rotten and send them home. 😂
Here's a little bit of History when Jimmy Carter was president I was riding on my grandma's tailgate dusting peanut crops at 7 years old. Then later we walked the rowes and weeded... I'm glad I'm still alive. We didn't wear gloves back in those days we just dipped our hands in an open bag of what I hope was seven dust and put it over the plants as the truck drove by. All my aunts and uncles are still alive and they're 78 and 82 years old that made me do this work so I hope I live as long as they did 🤣
Hi I love your show glad to see family's working together.i would like to see more of gramy and how she cookes add her in. She's a very big part of the family
Awesom farm vegetables looking very delicious 😋 thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments with us 🇺🇸, and taking us along with the harvest of the vegetables 😀
I admire your family and all of the hard work that everyone puts in as a team. Weeding is the least favorite/most dreaded thing to do on the farm, but it is critical for success. Love your videos and the way you edit!
Andrew when you weed like that do you just leave the weeds in the rows uprooted to die or do you go back and collect all those pulled weeds and put them into a compost pile or what do you do with them?
I've never picked beans any way other than by hand, so that bean picker fascinated me. That cabbage looks so good, and I wish I had a bunch or two of that dill for making pickles. Mine got eaten by something, and what's at our farmers market wasn't looking much better yet. As always, Callie was so adorable. Such a happy baby.
The BEAN PICKER!!! Love watching that thing!!! Watching your videos makes me want to go eat my way though my veggie drawer. Grandpa how do you stay so young and spry??? Ask Grammy if I can come to lunch one day, she does the best lunches. Miss Callie is so adorable with those little toofers and that giggle!!! One happy baby who loves her family. Deer still in the beets??? Have a wonderful week and can't wait to see you again next time. P.S. I doing good today.
I like how you explain things like why you left the bean picker in the field. There are lots of little decisions farmers make that make a difference in productivity. Good job!
I just found your channel I was wondering where you were located and then I heard you say Pennsylvania so it all makes sense. You have great soil and weather there. We moved to Florida again recently in Florida just can’t grow the kind of food you grow. Sandy soil either scorching hot or wet. We used to camp around Lancaster
Hi, I watched you pull weeds, I had a garden once, but I liked pulling my weeds out of the row’s, just like your family did, it was nice to watch, you all have a good evening
Great job on all that weeding this year! It’s lovely seeing Callie’s personality growing. You guys are all full of love and laughter and it shows with Callie already.
You might develop a market for “Lambs Quarter”. People are learning it’s a great food to forage and they are buying seeds to grow it. I saw lots of big ones! Woo hoo! Love your vids and your family! The heart of America! ❤️
I thought the mulch stopped weeds. I got to start listening better. Good video love how you all work like a well oiled machine. Love how your wives take such good of 🥰 their husbands
you guys must long for a cold showers on days like this!! Even your own natural exuberance is muted! Didn't think that was possible, thanks so much for such great content and editing, really appreciated!
There's something very satisfying about watching and hearing corn being picked. Good explanation on the weeds - never thought about them taking moisture and nutrients away from the veggie plants. Love watching!
Am learning a lot from the farming methods and teaching about how weeds are a danger to the plants in growth, moisture, and nutrients as they compete for these things. Even the farm machines are amazing how they do the work making it easy and efficient. I love watching the harvest of different crops and how they travel around the world to provide food for different establishments. When i eat in restaurants I always want fresh veggies on my soup, sauteed foods to salads and I realize how important the work of the farmers around the world are. You always impress, entertain, and amuse me with the work you do.. Air hugs to princess Callie, she's my favorite part of the video, growing so fast and pretty with that happy, cute smile. She's so adorable!!! Buh bye!
Love the videos Andrew and all the crew, thank you for providing the community with all the delicious produce you grow . Hey, do you take orders for 100 ears of sweet corn ? And how much would 100 ears cost ? Thanks guys .
Wow Andrew Great timing for a video, you have been teasing me with fresh corn on the cob. I just had that for dinner. So yummy watching my favorite farmers. Go Veggie Boys and Girls.
The velvet leaf and ragweed are bad this year. Keep up the good work. I'm still waiting on tomatoes to ripen but I don't have a green house to start plants for a early harvest.
It has a lot to do with where you are living. Lambsquarter is a common weed in most places, and people ignore it. When I lived in Washington, blackberries were everywhere, and I was making jam and pies, and using the canes to smoke salmon and no one I knew did any of that.
Yes it is edible & nutritious, but each plant can produce in excess of 35000 seeds which remain viable in the soil for years. And it can grow over 6 ft tall so if you don't control it, it will completely overtake a field. It was very much a nuisance on my vegetable farm. Sometimes people would ask if they could harvest some & we would tell them to help themselves to all they wanted lol!
Yeah, there really is something so satisfying about pulling big weeds by hand. Callie! Oh my goodness, it will bust my buttons when you get her saying 'Buh-bye' and waving her hands the first time!
Thank you for another enjoyable video. My grandfather and my great grandfather on my dad's side were farmers. My great grandfather on my mom's day side was a farmers. My maternal great grand mother and her people were plantation owners. And went thru the Civil war.
Again, another get video. You all, veggie boys and girls work so very hard. Thanks for sharing the farm and your family with us all. Greetings from hot humid Mississippi!
I love the style of your videos, how we just go along with you through the farm and store all day. I wouldn't mind a little tutorial as you go about all those different types of hand harvesting tools you use. I've never seen that thing you use for the zucchini and I'd love ideas of the best types of tools for harvesting various crops. My garden has gotten to about 1/4 acre and harvesting tools is something I haven't invested much research time or money in, and it's becoming obvious I need to. 🤣
I'm impressed to see you guy's picking weeds yourself, instead of finding cheap labor to do it for you or waste fuel doing it. Especially since those aren't small field's. Very impressed
We need rain bad creeks our starting to dry up and ponds our low of water . Our fields and gardens need rain. Thank you Andrew for the info on how to keep veggie and better harvesting crops . Yea it’s best to check veggies out in the fields to make sure no disease has taking over the veggies. Lunch sounds good make me hungry. If you uses the bean picker machine on your beans would it destroy the beans?Well that answers that question wow.
everytime you bring some veggies into the shop from the field i want to see the ladies go oohhh, ahhh they look beautiful we needed them so much!! And i want to see footage of the ladies stressed asking for the vegies from the field before hand.
"We put irrigation on it, and then the rain got scared that it's being replaced so then it just started raining and it hasn't stopped yet." :D I laughed out loud
As you know farmers have to be a jack of all trades to keep the farm productive. All of your family are the best. Thanks for sharing your lives.
Hello, my name is Mohamed, and I truly enjoy the hard work you guys do everyday by feeding America. God Bless our farmers

Love seeing you guys pulling weeds and not spraying poison!!!!
Daniel’s lesson on why it started raining after you put the irrigation system in was very informative. Thanks Daniel
You made no sense are you drunk?
@@LUCIFER_THE_MORNING_STAR_666_ reading comprehension is a dying skill, don’t feel bad.

The truck is full of produce again. Your dill is in demand and I love seeing how your family work as a team.

All good gardeners pull weeds for the love of our plants
I never understood why someone would make the effort to plant a garden and let the weeds take over
The sounds of harvesting ❤️❤️❤️ so relaxing!!!! Callie s laugh so adorable 💕 Good varied video AGAIN 👏👏 Love from the UK x

Pulling Weeds Out of the Ground, the Nutrients & Moisture in Ground can Better Focus on Vegetables or Fruit themselves. Simple Concept! 👍
Andrew when you weed like that do you just leave the weeds in the rows uprooted to die or do you go back and collect all those pulled weeds and put them into a compost pile or what do you do with them?
Do you plant plants during winter season

Is weather not an issue with leaving the green bean picker out?

I see you have grown a lot of cucumbers in your farm. How do you control those cucumber beetles?
The big weeds being picked are lambs quarters aka a delicious wild spinach alternative 😜 Things look great y'all!!

Good evening Veggie boys!!! Can't wait to watch!
The velvet leaf and ragweed are bad this year. Keep up the good work. I'm still waiting on tomatoes to ripen but I don't have a green house to start plants for a early harvest.
Pull the velvet and burn them or they will be worse next year
I believe that velvet leaf can be used as toilet paper in an emergency . Do be sure though. 😀
@@joyfulnoise6913 sure, you could use that, but it's better to catch a squirrel for that purpose
There is tons in this area
@@theveggieboys I saw with you all pulling weeds. But what you pull won't seed for next year or deplete soil any more this year.
Inspiring . You guys are doing well. keep it up
Wow! Lambsquarter plant ya'll pulled are sooo nutritious and edible. In pacific northwest people eat it regularly. Plus, it is so good for your soil.
It has a lot to do with where you are living. Lambsquarter is a common weed in most places, and people ignore it. When I lived in Washington, blackberries were everywhere, and I was making jam and pies, and using the canes to smoke salmon and no one I knew did any of that.

The bean picker is amazing
I am envious of yous guys up north harvesting cabbage in knee high ragweed, By then my cabbage would have bolted or worm riddled.
Yeah, there really is something so satisfying about pulling big weeds by hand. Callie! Oh my goodness, it will bust my buttons when you get her saying 'Buh-bye' and waving her hands the first time!
I sure wish I was there to get some of that corn. I love cutting the corn off the cob and putting it in the freezer.
Good job grandpa you’re hanging right in there with them young bucks
Do you guys grow rutabagas? I have only grown them one year. We like them but I had limited germination.
Your family gets along so well!! Do you live together under one roof?
Your Dad, Grammi and Joel's Mom all look like twins(triplets). PS. I love growing sweet corn. I eat it raw like you all do. Nothing like it.
I eat the first corn raw too, you are right nothing like it, yum yum.
