    I'm getting one. This knife is going to be my main traveling knife in addition to a SAC and a Granfors pocket axe.

    Always wanted that scandi trekker but with a slightly larger handle. This is a beautiful knife though.

    What is the intended use difference between the Scandi Trekker and the Puukko?

    are those dual pins for secure handle attachment? or do they have any functionality? Either way looks awesome.

      @Gpknives  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure why they went with the dual pins. You could conceivably run a small (not 550) cord through them for use as a lanyard. I guess it is mostly for secure attachment.

    great blade ? i buy this 1095 steel its tough stuff.but not my best steel . i guess it will take a licken? i dont miss use. knives .

      1095 is going to be a tough, simple carbon steel. TOPS does a differential heat treat that enhances the cutting performance while still retaining a high level of toughness. It's easy to sharpen but not corrosion resistant so it will need to be kept dry and well oiled.

      From the TOPS Site "The TOPS version of his design mixes traditional elements with TOPS’ style. It has the classic Puukko blade with a very slight *clip point*."
