Just got this blade! Man I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had this blade in my cart on Amazon, then I second-guessed it, and then added it back in, then second-guessed it… I finally pulled the trigger and my God am I glad I did! It is a phenomenal knife, it fits perfectly in my hand and although it looks big and chunky on wide angle camera lenses from these table top down videos… I can tell you it’s the perfect size for Bushcrafting!
I’ll use my tops brothers of bush craft BOB knife for Batoning , but for whittling and more precise bushcraft/feather sticking… this knife ROCKS!
Absolutely still one of the best knives I own. Thank you for the comment
I like Tops Bob's Brothers.
It's like a larger version of this.
Dude I bought a Brakimo 10 months ago and LOVE it. I was worried about the handle cause it is thin but it grew on me . I use my knives everyday, I carve and whittle as a hobby about an hour a day. The Brakimo is the best survival bushcraft knife I've ever owned. Like you I highly recommend the Brakimo. The edge is wicked , it carves better than any knife in that class.
The Puukko is now on my list I totally understand your passion.
High scandiVex blades are wicked tools.
Great knife, one for my wish list.
Love it so much actually bought 4 more. I crrently own 5!!!
Hey WestCoast, Luv luv luv the Tops Puukko!!! The Tex Creek is my next Tops, but the number 2 on my list is the Puukko, and you guessed it during your vid, number 3 is the Brakimo!! Very much enjoying your vids!
I have this knife and it’s mini clone definitely happy with my purchase. I’m he Brakimo looks sick don’t own it but it looks like a total winner
Man been wanting to get this for awhile. And been tossing up between this or the Benchmade Puuko. Still can't decide.
I would have never thought to use the sheath to strop the knife with, what a great idea. I normally use my belt but I don't always wear one so will definitely try this out.
This is my number 1 EDC knife period. Using the sheath to strop works so perfect. I use the belt loop and even the side of the sheath.
I’d never use either , you’ll have all that compound on your pants .
Nice review! and I laughed when you said "everyone wants Kydex'....Everyone want's leather with a ferro rod loop! :)
Thank you for your response.
just ordered one in the rocky mountain edition.
Thanks for the comment. Appreciate it
I get they call it a scadivex or whatever , but these tops “Scandi” i would just call a Sabre grind... the profile is textbook Sabre.
This is what I thought!
