He had 20000 midichlorians before he lost to obi wan which means he had 12000 midichlorians. There are plenty of jedi and bad bois who had a higher midichlorian count. I did some research and t he AVERAGE jedi had 10000
Lucas didn’t think that through. Anakin’s midichlorian count should have been unchanged by his injuries. THAT is why Vader was so powerful. He also now had stronger, replaceable bionic appendages.
Darth Maul was literally cut in HALF. Yet, his injuries seem to have not weakened him.

yeah, I don't quite buy it. Obi-wan was like the paragon of jedi, to the point that the force took him out of existence like it was his God and he was only obedient in trust to it. Hence his advice to Luke when blowing up the deathstar. Although even though Obi-wan may have been the ideal force user/jedi doesn't mean the current order did not have flaws. Often in real life we go from one extreme to the other in philosophy/ideas. The notion of balancing light/dark or good/evil seems a bit absurd to me because if balance is inherently good, then are you really balancing good and not good by having balance? "moderation in all things, including moderation". For example a moderate amount of murder isn't good.. some things the concept of moderate being better is absurd. So it is easy to see how the dark side of the force is evil compared to jedies, but perhaps in fear of the darkside, fearing things like emotions that are not inherently evil, they were too extreme in their philosophy that caused others to explore the opposite extreme.

I think when he says balance he means something like peace, like balance to the force, bur if he means balance LITERALLY than it would need two sides. In a way, the light and dark sides are just sides. There are no good or bad sides, because they have the same ideas. Eliminate the other side. If u r on the light side, you think that you are the good ones. If you are on the dark side, you think that you are the good ones. Dark is the absence of light and light is the absence of darkness, so they dont need each other. They want to get rid of each other. @Aaron B Exactly! Sith cause an imbalance in the force because they're not simply using the force but seeking to control, conquer and have sovereignty over it. Force rebelled against the sith as the midiclorians are concious life forms, and created what we know as the chosen one. After Sith die, jedi can still be fighting dark side warriors that aren't as extreme as Sith and only USE the force rather than seek control over it.
Luke is the balance in episode 6, he is neither dark side nor light......

there were too many jedi. when the prophecy was stated, (ie anakin was the chosen one destined to bring balance to the force) the jedi had essentially overrun the entire galaxy. balance is balance. too many jedi = an imbalance in the force. anakin was the chosen one who was supposed to bring balance to the force, and he did. just not the way the jedi in their blindness and apathy envisioned it so really, obi wan had nothing to complain about bc anakin didnt betray anyone in the bigger picture: he just fulfilled his destiny.

Except canon confirms the Jedi didn't create any imbalance. It was the Sith who did so and when they were eliminated in RotJ, the natural order was restored.

That makes sense. Darth Bane created the rule of two because large sith numbers ending up causing their order to fall and the same thing sorta happened to the Jedi. They had gotten so large and with that; arrogant, stuffy and proud with their massive temples and righteous ways and it contributed big time to their downfall. Maybe the prophecy knew what it was doing that whole time. Order 66 was meant to happen in order for balance to be restored.
Makes sense to me. Because after order 66 there were only two truly significant jedi left- Yoda and Obi Wan and two Sith. That's balance.
"Balance = a condition in which opposing forces are equal to one another in order to determine the weight of that beaker, you need to get the two pans of the scale in perfect balance" - So for me it means there must be good and bad, Dark and Light, Jedi and Sith. Dude this video made me feel more at ease with Darth Vader, opened up a whole new understanding for the character.

I don't think Palpatine shared Vader's view on that one. He has made his disappointment pretty clear in the new canon comics. I like the idea of Vader realising how badass he became and having some self esteem though, as opposed to legends where he was crying in his suit and always depressed.
I think that book maybe wrong. By all accounts Vader had low self-esteem and was constantly depressed and angry.
Well I haven't read the "lords of the sith" book, but if it's new (2015) and canon, which it is, then it can't be wrong, it's just the new portrayal of Darth Vader that the new canon is using.

What if.... This happened?
(A rebel base was set up on an ancient world once controlled by the Je'daii Order. Some surviving Jedi were here with a research team trying to find something, just anything that could possibly help them. They stumbled upon something that they thought was a portal that could look into the past or the future, but what it turned out to be was something that allowed those who used it to look into other universe when they started to notice some inconsistencies. They had found a way to pull small objects through and decided to pull someone through.
The Jedi here decided to pull through who they considered to be heroes in their timeline from another. They found one timeline very similar, but also very different in many ways, but there were enough consistencies to locate their targets).
[Meanwhile ...]
(Count Dooku jumped from the balcony approaching Anakin and Obi-Wan).
Palpatine: "Get help your no match for him he's a Sith Lord."
Obi-Wan: "Chancellor Palpatine, Sith Lords are our specialty."
Dooku: "Your swords please you wouldn't want to make a mess of things in front of the-"
(There was a bright flash in front of Dooku and Palpatine, when they opened their eyes the Jedi had disappeared).
[Meanwhile...]
(The Jedi reappeared in the research site near the device that had brought them here and they fell unconscious. It seemed to be an unexpected side effect from the transporting of them here. The were taken to a medical facility they had set up close by and after a few hours they regained consciousness).
Obi-Wan: "Uuugh... Where am I?..."
(A human in what appeared to be a miltia uniformed showed up after he was informed they were coming around).
Aran: "Hello master Kenobi. My name is Aran Kroan, and we need your help."
Obi-Wan: "How did we get here? Where are we?"
Aran: "You are on Jedha master Jedi."
Obi-Wan: "Are you apart of the Republic?"
Aran: "Not... Exactly. What's left of it."
Anakin: "What do you mean? What do you want from us?"
Aran: "To save our universes. You two may want to sit down for this."
(Aran informed the two Jedi that they had been pulled from a world very similar to the one they are in now. The Jedi initially protested that they be sent back immediately, as they were on an important mission when they were pulled from their timeline. But after Aran explained more, they began to realize that their Jedi Order and their galaxy had been fooled. They found out that Palpatine was the Sith Lord they had been looking for, and he had used control chips in the clones to kill the Jedi when they least expected it. And of course there was the new apprentice that Palpatine had taken, a mysterious dark figure named Darth Vader who was said to have stormed the Jedi Temple and killed all the Jedi masters there.
After a few moments Anakin and Obi-Wan agreed to help, and asked to be sent back first to warn the Jedi and the Republic in their universe first).
Aran: "Forgive us, but... It's complicated. Bringing things in from another timeline is one thing. Sending them is another. Once we figure it out we'll send you back."
(Anakin was not happy, and Obi-Wan wasn't amused. Regardless they agreed to help this Rebellion, so long as they got sent back. Aran then heard the comm on his wrist beep and he answered).
Comm: "Sgt. Kroan, she is here."
(Aran smirked).
Aran: "Send her in."
(After a few moments a female Togruta walked in. Obi-Wan and especially Anakin couldn't believe it).
Ahsoka: "It's been a long time Skyguy."
(She smiled happy to see Anakin alive. Even if it wasn't her Anakin).
Ahsoka: "But it has been a lot longer for me."
Anakin: "Snips?..."

I believe whenever the jedi spoke of balance they meant having a society composed by balanced beings. We clearly would have to discuss now what each one of us thinks it means to be a balanced person (I'm not so crazy about the sith's idea of having everyone imprisoned by fear at all), but I personally believe the jedi's vision was beautiful. Silence was their meditation, observation, so that way they could watch and listen, from above, both the dark and the light as one single force in perfect balance, and not get attached to any of those, nor to their thoughts and emotions. So in a way, they had a way of becoming the light themselves, as they were constantly aware, imperturbable, yet not at all indifferent, but profoundly connected to everything, to their feelings and instinct. It's pure love and compassion in the end I believe, their strength was founded on compassion and on the mission of helping others find their own balance, or in other words, their own freedom in their hearts. Be the light and lighten up.
I can't imagine Vader being as powerful if he didn't have his deformities and suit. His suffering was so great that all he had to do was channel it and his power was immense

@MrGuvnah So exactly, the dark side is the more natural path. The Jedi are unnaturally and slavishly maintaining the Force. I repeatedly compare it to fast food. There could be 1000 lectures on the benefits of health nut super foods, but fast food will always be more popular.

Balance is a person being taught in both sides of the force. The Eternal Empire did this, that's why they where fighting both Sith and Jedi and winning. They know both sides and how to balance each use of them. That is balance.

I always questioned the Jedi's view of balance. But with Luke as a sole surviving Jedi and a gray Jedi, he did in fact bring balance.

Luke was never a gray Jedi he was trained by obi wan then yoda and he didn’t bring anything, Vader did that

@@SuperD00Dactually shatter point was a force power looooong before Disney owned it. IT literally senses the flaws in an item nad by sending force power into those flaws could break it into multiple pieces, this usually was done on focal points in history, which jedi and sith called shatterpoints as they could essentially shatter history, however they could also use it on physical matter as I said, and pouring it into the flaws often would kill or severely maim the person or item in question.
Then we'd have a real silly ending to the movie. In real life he could slip on a banana peel but in a movie somebody actually has to write that in knowing it would never make it to the final print.

I agree with what you said about the prequel Jedi misunderstood what balance in the force was supposed to be. They were too disconnected from the living force it seemedto me. Their view of the force was as narrow as the Sith's view of it. Day and night, joy and sorrow...two sides of the same coin and they were destined in the to both lose.
