Finally realizing how evil Palpatine is? So starting a war while controlling both sides, ordering the death of an unarmed prisoner, the slaughter of children and the destruction of planets wasn't enough?
Vader always knew, he just hated the Jedi so much and wanted peace through fear and order. He also wanted to kill Palpatine way before Luke came around, he was never strong enough though.
Vader probably would have realized that Palpatine was Darth Plagieus(IDK how to spell that) apprentice, and thus would demand that Palpatine teach him how to revive Padme. Palpatine would be conflicted, as choosing to give Vader the secrets he desired would deplete the control he had over Vader. Vader would sense this and realize that Palpatine was never going to give him the secrets he desired and attack him. His new suit would help him easily defeat the emperor and tell Palpatine to either tell him the secrets, or die. Palpatine would claim that his power was too great for Vader to handle and attempt to kill him with Force Lightning. Vader's suit wouldn't conduct lightning like his old suit, and wouldn't sever his Force connection, giving Vader the power to withstand the lightning. Vader would probably deflect it back to Palpatine. Once Palpatine was weakened, Vader would throw Palpatine out of the window(assuming they were in the II Death Star Throne Room) into space. Vader would stand there, his suit providing him air and preventing him from flying out the window. His suit would let him think more clearly, and he would realize that the Palpatine never wanted to help him, and just wanted to use him for help ruling the Galaxy. Vader would realize all that he had done, and turn back to the light. Anakin would exile himself to some distant planet, ruled by greif and Luke and the Rebellion would be left to purge out the rest of the Empire. If Vader got the improved suit before 'A New Hope,' then Vader most likely would have found Obi-Wan on Tatooine and killed him sooner, ruining Luke's training and causing Luke to only be taught little to none by the tome Yoda dies, as it would take longer for Luke to find Yoda. Yoda would come to Luke as a Force Ghost and urge him to find his father, Anakin Skywalker. Luke would find Anakin and be trained similar to the way of Mace Windu: the Light Side, but with more emotion.Luke would be taught a mixture of all the forms and Luke would lead a storm on the Death Star II. With the Emperor dead and Vader gone, the Empore would be in a mess. Due to them being unorganized, Luke could get them in with Anakin guiding him through the Force. They would blow up the Death Star II and bring peace to the Galaxy.
Vader: "Palps, I have something to tell you." The emperor: "What? Wait did you just call me..." Vader: "I am Ironman." *Flies away and blows a star destroyer apart with a laser shooting out of his hand* The emperor: "What? When? Who? Why? How?"

@@shankley-dr4if he’s definitely right, if he had a better suit then he would be able to think more clearer and wouldn’t always be in pain, that’s why Vader is so powerful cause he’s in pain all the time which fuels the dark side for him
If vader had a better suit hed have drifted back to the light side in a few years. No pain, means a clear mind, a clear mind means hed reflect and could reason AND be reasoned with. The force ghosts of yoda and kenobi would help that along. And the better suit means uncle crusty aka Palpatine wouldnt stand a snowballs chance in hell against a light side returning Anakin.
Basically imagine a version of Vader that was even more badass and scary from the original design. This means he’s faster, stronger and calmer to make less rash decisions among other things. This also means he has more time to dwell on his actions more clearly and less likely to punish himself as deeply as he has done. This probably will include the possibility of Vader turning over a new leaf and destroying the dark side entirely or at least enough to permanently take down Palpatine and move on from there. Or this would be bad for everyone for then he would be a stronger version of Vader which means it’s even harder for everyone...
E.t was not on the Senate. Given all evidence ET himself is probably a Jedi but that's irrelevant. Are you saying all ET aliens look like ET, you racist?

Luke never beat Vader. Vader could have slaughtered him at any time but didn't due to him being his son. If luke was some random person Vader would have slaughtered him.
Why not, parents forget and leave their kids in all sorts of weird places all the time, seems reasonable a jedi could forget to bring their one weapon which they hand crafted themselves in times of hostility.
What if all of his armor was thick mandalorian iron and quantum crystalline alloy. He’d be invincible and with that and a more flexible suit, it’d be the same Vader it’d be just so easy, you’d think he was the main character
I love this, holy shit. I love this so much. Like, with the sequel trilogy coming in full swing, think of Kylo Ren. He was so obsessed with Darth Vader, but if Vader lived and joined the Rebellion? Bruh, it would be wild.
My understanding is that Vader always wanted revenge against Sideous. If he had the power, provided through a new suit almost certainly resistant to Force Lightning, he'd probably have tried to overthrow Sideous before the events of the original trilogy ever occurred. If he were successful, that would leave Vader effectively as the new emperor... but Anakin/Vader was never very manipulative or politically savvy, certainly not like Palpatine. I doubt the Empire would have lasted very long under his rulership.
Sidious' force lightning was always the main threat to vader's life. having prosthetics wired directly into your bone, muscle, and nervous tissue means any bolt that touches the prosthetics' metal it will ark directly to his brain and heart
He would have taken Palpatine to the beach and a nice day in the sun with an ice cream and a ride on a donkey would bring Palpatine into the light side of the force! (An exert from the fully canonical star wars novel Anakin takes Palpatine to Blackpool)

It couldn’t be. It’s not like Vader didn’t have the authority to commission the development of a more powerful suit. He was beholden to the Lucasfilm merchandise licensing gods to give him a new suit post death in ROTJ
TheNugget Bacon nope cause the thing convincing him allot in my opinion wad that palpatine wanted to see him die in the first place seeing how he was manipulated the whole time
After watching this. I simply feel a great sadness for Anakin and the love that he had for Padme. And how he let it all be lost. It’s such a resonant story.
I think Vader only lost the duel with Luke because he was conflicted, that's how he was pushed back in ESB and how he lost in ROTJ. It had nothing to do with his suit, he had compassion for his son.

Could you do a video on how the empire got the people to abandon their belief in the force? In the prequel's The force is commonly accepted by The majority of the galaxy is being a real, if not completely understood thing even by the non-Jedi/Sith and those who have never heard of that before don't immediately reject it. In the original saga however, we can plainly see especially in a new hope that's no longer the case. If I recall, there were at least 3 separate examples of not only the dismissal but almost the utter contempt for the force. 1. An imperial officer during the meeting sneered at Vader saying that his "sad devotion to that ancient religion" had failed to help in retrieve the death Star plans. 2. Tarkin, although far more polite held similar views and even confided them briefly to Vader, saying that Vader was all that was left of the ancient religion. 3. Han Solo outright scuffed and dismissed the force out right in front of Ben and Luke on the way to Alderon, calling it a hokey religion with ancient weapons. I don't recall them doing anything like that in the Empire strikes back but in the return of the Jedi, both Janna and Han make dismissive comments about The force, particularly about the Jedi. 1. Jabba this misses his attendant saying that Luke is using "and old the Jedi mind trick" on him. 2. Han tells chewy that he thinks that Luke is crazy/delusional for calling him self a Jedi Knight now. No it's interesting is that the rebel alliance on the other hand has a more tolerate if not sterile view of the force, numerous times saying "May the force be with you" much in the same way someone back in the day may say "go with God" My question is, how did the empire succeed in effectively getting the majority of the galactic population to do a 180 on their views of the force. Going from excepting if not completely understood to write dismissal and distaste in just 20 years. In fact in the first two examples I mentioned, both at imperial officer and Tarkin (Turchin definitely) appeared to be old enough to have been around during the time of the clone wars so I can't understand how they could be so dismissive (yes I realize that the most obvious behind the scenes answer to this is that Lucas started with episode three as the first movie, but I'm of course curious if there is a in canon/legends explanation to this).
David Bonness Only way Ive ever made sense with that argument is that for everyone in the galaxy, they looked to the Jedi. After order 66 the empire kinda deminished the jedi reputation to traitors and corrupt individuals including their religion. Not sure if that helps or not but its how Ive made sense of it to some of my friends.
tarkin knew about the force and clearly remembered the Jedi. he even knew enough about the force and the ways of the sith to deduce that Vader was Anakin and that he was palpatines sith apprentice
Well, if you think about it, no one ever really got to see the jedi truly in action. As far as the general public could tell, the jedi order was just a very influential religious order & highly skilled combatants with a very distinctive weapon. Since the jedi made a point to never flaunt their power unnecessarily, most people would just dismiss the stories of their powers as rumours or myth.
Tim™ Actually he was that Powerful. He is one of the SW universe which more killed Jedi in the history. He was the chosen one and a very experinced fighter. He was more warrior than Palpatine (Palpatine used more manipulation to solve his problem). So yea, Vader is pretty badass.
I don't understand why the films couldn't have been written this way. It feels more satisfying, and I personally didn't like seeing Vaders physical form dying. I too feel he should have lived and become anakin in his suit once more
I kinda like one where he has a Bane (from Batman) type respirator, and reverts back to the hooded cloak look. Maybe newer ocular implants can make his eyes glow red! >:)
Vader’s suit never exactly made him weaker, it just made him a lot more vulnerable to lightning and made him much slower, but not weaker overall to everything besides lightning
My guess would be that Palpatine would take Anakin as a secret student under the childish "I will show you the force in secret but don't tell anyone" reasoning, making Anakin a secret Sith under the guise of a Senat Member. This would even be more dangerous since he would have lived a close life to Padmé and he would have the power to convince the senate earlier to give Palpatine emergency powers instead of making Jar Jar a pawn in this game and killing Anakins mother guides him down the path of darkness without him having someone to talk to. Also, the fight on Geonosis would be different, probably with a masked Anakin supporting Dooku and most likely, due to his chances of losing to Obi-Wan, his apprentice and Yoda, he would not only manage to score a kill on Obi Wans Padawan but also betray Dooku by mortally wounding him, not only to shock the Jedi but also to show Sidious that Anakin passed the test of becoming Sidious's new apprentice. Over the years of the Clone Wars Obi-Wan found a new Padawan (I'll take her losely because it is the only Padawan we know had no master shortly after episode 2) in Ahsoka Tano who was a way more balanced individual since her trainer was also a more calm minded person. When entering the Invisible Hand, Grievous will encounter the Jedi Team of Kenobi and Tano directly, who will die upon the verssel and the Jedi plus Palpatine being able to flee. This ruse is used by Palpatine to send Anakin and deal with the remaining seperatists in "meetings" so he has no opposition to the Empire. Without the amount of friends in politics, namely Padmé, the order has less of a political insight and without Anakin, the Jedi would only assume who the Sith could be. After the seperatists forfeit most of the systems, Palpatine constructs a plot to get Padmé close to the Jedi temple before birth so he could push him to Order 66 even more, because Obi Wan and him stll had a very good relationship. Seeing Padmé die in the Jedi temple due to child birth and the Jedi taking the children in due to the Skywalker name and the high potential they held, Anakin pushed Sidious to drop the act and enact Order 66 spearheaded by Anakin. Many masters were on their way back from the won clone wars, but shot down and killed in space. Obi-Wan, Yoda and Mace were in the temple however and ready to take on the clones. However they were not prepared to see Anakin. While more Clones due to the earlier ending and systematic destruction of the CIS were on Coruscant, the Jedi of the temple were overwhelmed, if not for the masters and the Jedi, who weren't on other planets fighting wars. Don't get me wrong, it was still a slaughter, but less than there was more of a resistance force. While Mace and Yoda took on the clones coming their way with ease, Obi Wan and his apprentice Ahsoka. Since Obi-Wan took on the role as Anakins main opponent, he would get knocked off his feeton the cold floor of the temple. He then would take on Ahsoka and get her into a submissive position then slowly torturing her by mutilating her body or even face with his lightsaber and taunting Obi-Wan who then sees a second Padawan being close to death by the same person who played him not only most of his life, but caused him grief and emotional stress beyond what he could take. Obi-Wan would then succumb to his anger this one time, activate his lightsaber, lying on the ground, deactivated and while pulling the blue sabre towards himself, push Anakin against a wall, who would not have been prepared for this attack, since he fell too deep into the enjoyment of hurting Ahsoka. Obi Wan would go in for the kill and not play around, taking his Padawan into the medical ward which was riddled with already dead or close to being, Jedi. With Vader, the biggest resistance died and the clones were not only driven back, but for the first time in a campaign of victories, defeated in a way that they had to give up and were not a threat while the Jedi went in to storm palpatines seat. Arriving there, Palpatines royal guard assembled who were no match for the abilities of the Jedi. On the contrary. Palpatine's last line of defense was himself and he was overpowered with an order of Jedi attacking him scoring kills on Kit Fisto and two Jedi knights but the others not even getting scratched due to their sheer size in numbers. While the masters of the order were discussing the fate of Palpatine and he himself knowing the outcome would be execution, tried to kill the Jedi with a last attempt of force lightning, dying by the hands of Mace Windu, who was slightly hit but still not hard enough to stop his blow. The aftermath of the scenario would be: A new senat no empire the downfall of the clone army the training of Luke and Leia the CIS not being a factor anymore the Jedi still existing but officially retreating out of the republics political business the downfall of the sith Obi-Wan retreating from his council seat which would be later taken by his padawan him going somewhere unknown and meditating and learning about his mistakes and his failures the defunding of the death star project and recycling of the station
Even if Anakin did survive the encounter aboard the second Death Star, I don't think he would've been allowed to take part in any new Jedi order. For one thing, he would've been considered a war criminal by the New Republic, and would likely be imprisoned if not outright executed; given his new shift to the Light Side, he likely would've surrendered himself peacefully to avoid killing anyone else. Also, he likely would have been remorseful about all the events of his past, and would've had a lot of personal baggage to get off his chest while he was in prison. So while Vader could maybe advise Luke from his cell during their annual visits, he probably wouldn't have been allowed to take a direct role in building a new Jedi order, plus he probably wouldn't think himself worthy as a result of his actions as Darth Vader.
XTheLegionarGamingX they would found a republic with the fall of the empire. His only chance to be free would be to run away with Luke to the outer rim. Too many would've called for his head no way he would've lived if he surrendered.
But Leia, being the politician she is, could have made a strong case for either clemency or amnesty in the case of her father, as he would be the perfect teacher, someone who's been there and done that, and can speak from firsthand experience of the dangers of submitting oneself fully to the Dark Side. As long as he remained within the confines of the new Jedi Temple for the remainder of his natural life, the New Republic government wouldn't feel any need to execute him on the spot.
Saturn sidious would have him embrace his already persona as a hero and by killing off all the other Jedi paint them as evil and the true Jedi were in support of the empire
these short films which I've recently found are spell binding!! I love everything star wars and this is the first time I've owned a tablet with a WiFi connection. I never realised that there was so much star wars material out there!!! much to the annoyance of my wife lol 😁😁
I feel like it just would’ve made Vader realize sooner that Palpa teen was using him because if his suit was able to heal him faster him being comfortable and being able to breathe easier I feel like his mindset would be completely different because he’d be more calm and relaxed but that’s just my thoughts
If Vader did return to Endor with Luke I doubt everyone would have a change of heart just like that, Vader would've most likely be tried and executed for his crimes.
This would make it more interesting they should have done this I think it would make people more hyped that anakin/darth Vader would come back and be more powerful
Wouldn't it be better if Vader took the throne after he killed Palpatine? I'm sure that way there would be much less resistance when changing the ways of the Empire, or changing it into the New Republic because many would be inclined to follow Vader because he was somewhat already known as the vice-emperor.
I thought if Vader drew strength from the discomfort of his suit, maybe having a more advanced suit would actually sever his connection to the dark side, thought physically he might be more powerful. Then again, like you said in this video, he could focus on his mental anguish better. What if Vader's suit was damaged in the Battle of Yavin as he was shot away and he returned with a newer, scarier suit in Empire Strikes Back?
Vader is interesting because he kind of hates being a Sith in addition to all his other hates, so being more competent might actually make his self hatred worse, making him stronger.

The reason he's angry is Obi Wan cut off more than just his arm and legs
I disagree. If his suit were more powerful, he would have killed the Emperor and taken his place as soon as possible.

Yep, since Vader minutes later in the film was already thinking of killing Sidius. His great power also made him highly agressive.
Probably not
My understanding is that Vader always wanted revenge against Sideous.

No it's interesting is that the rebel alliance on the other hand has a more tolerate if not sterile view of the force, numerous times saying "May the force be with you" much in the same way someone back in the day may say "go with God"
My question is, how did the empire succeed in effectively getting the majority of the galactic population to do a 180 on their views of the force.
Not everyone believed in the Force, or even knew the Jedi were real. They may have thought that the Jedi were just propaganda.
Not everyone believed in the Force, or even knew the Jedi were real. They may have thought that the Jedi were just propaganda.
tarkin knew about the force and clearly remembered the Jedi. he even knew enough about the force and the ways of the sith to deduce that Vader was Anakin and that he was palpatines sith apprentice

What if Obi-Wan refused to take Anakin as his padawan
+The Entorm Then Obi wan would be a dick to Qui Gon.
william Cooper LOL but for real I want to know what could happen like in the future so I hope Star Wars Theory makes a video about it
My guess would be that Palpatine would take Anakin as a secret student under the childish "I will show you the force in secret but don't tell anyone" reasoning, making Anakin a secret Sith under the guise of a Senat Member.
The aftermath of the scenario would be:
A new senat
no empire
the downfall of the clone army
the training of Luke and Leia
the CIS not being a factor anymore
the Jedi still existing but officially retreating out of the republics political business
the downfall of the sith
Obi-Wan retreating from his council seat which would be later taken by his padawan him going somewhere unknown and meditating and learning about his mistakes and his failures
the defunding of the death star project and recycling of the station
Renekin Not being rude but I rather watch a video on what could happen so yah
Then someone else would of took him under their wings! Yoda perhaps.
In the end, even if he went to receive Palpatine's lightning, with his new suit it wouldnt be so much of a problem

I heard he defeated an entire army in a single force push
Sans The Skelepun But,just when you think your safe,Vader will find you
WHAM!
Imagine a star wars anthology film of Darth Vader’s missions from the comics
JPLOWMAN2 very interesting concept, seems pretty likely too
The rebellion has no power tho he was part of the most powerful gov at the time so they wouldn't be able to do shit
XTheLegionarGamingX they would found a republic with the fall of the empire. His only chance to be free would be to run away with Luke to the outer rim. Too many would've called for his head no way he would've lived if he surrendered.
Look at episode 8, the rebellion is still pretty pitiful.
That thumbnail is coolest thing I have ever seen
do a what if Anakin didn't burn
Then obi wan will kill him . And probably won't change almost anything becuse anakin's limbs are ok
Krisko 05 his limbs would still be gone, he just wouldn't have burned when he fell close to the lava.
xXDarkSmoke35 Xx. ik that but he still wouldn't have hated himself so much. And wouldn't have the suit/burnt lungs.
Donna Brunnock welcome to the family
who else thought this was a stupendous wave vid
Koriemthekoreancoral fish both are awesome
Koriemthekoreancoral fish I did lol
I feel like it just would’ve made Vader realize sooner that Palpa teen was using him because if his suit was able to heal him faster him being comfortable and being able to breathe easier I feel like his mindset would be completely different because he’d be more calm and relaxed but that’s just my thoughts
If Vader did return to Endor with Luke I doubt everyone would have a change of heart just like that, Vader would've most likely be tried and executed for his crimes.
Jaylen Davis yeah, Vader could rip through the rebellion prisons and with Luke helping him it would be pretty easy
Phil Thomas Also let's not forget he killed children.
"bro, you killed children though."
" That's because from my point of view..."
"Kill him"
Jaylen Davis let them try
This would make it more interesting they should have done this I think it would make people more hyped that anakin/darth Vader would come back and be more powerful
What if palpatine chose obi wan as his apprentice
Then Anakin would kill obi wan! the darkside makes you arrogant and so it would be Anakin who would *have the high ground*.
franch520 Obi-Wan will always have the high ground.
I respect that you open with "This is going to be a factual video."
Now i'm picturing a MGR Raiden with force powers!
That would have been Vader honestly
Vader isn't even as hammy and emo as Raiden.
You rock man, great content!
