I love everything italian! Always felt I was italian in another life...and the two most beautiful language's to me is, italian & french.
❤
Growing up in an Italian household my Dad's side of the family was from Bari Italy and my Mom's side was from Naples and Sicily. I could understand Italian but not really speak it too good. But had fantastic memories as a kid back then.
❤

Good words, great job!
"Scoshiabong" for you real New York Italians.
I'm a sicilian originally from the bronx and I've never heard some of these words. I guess your never too old to learn
❤
Really 😮. I knew them all. Maybe you are young and your parents mostly spoke English 🤷♀️
@carolciviletti9044 yes we would speak English in my household. Only my Nona spoke Italian
From scoolabast (scolapasta), statzit (statti zitto) and shangad (sciancato) to mamadelle and bachagaloop which I have never heard of, how do you want people to recognize words if these are so distorted?
"Where in Naples is your family from? Avellino" 😢
My husband’s family is from there ❤
Bachagaloop was the horse Paul Revere rode (according to Lou Monti anyway)
Love those Italian women specially those that are middle aged like my self 🎉😮❤😊
Mingya!
❤
Hate to be that guy but Salerno and Avellino, although close to Naples, count as their own cities.
Saying I’m from Salerno, Naples or Avellino, Naples would be like saying I’m from Baltimore, New York
You can be that guy ❤
It's def all Neopolitan slang.lol.🇮🇹🙌🏽🇺🇸
😂These words make you laugh 🤣 even though the first word is Italian I do not understand her........mammalade?????? Boooo😂
😂😂😂
The host is not even pronouncing the words properly. No wonder they don't recognise the words.
There are italian dialects and new york neighborhoods italian dialects
remember italians are the only real latins since latin was born in romw 3000 yrs ago and latina is a city in italy. not hispanic. spanish culture is castillian. and italians were also hanged in new orleans in 1891. lets stick together as italians no matter what country we live in
These ppl are not Italian
