The LBRP does indeed make a cloudy day sunny. Mix it up with the Middle Pillar, and you're kicking off for a great day. Give it a year or so, and you'll soon notice that you're not adversely affected by the things that would have bothered you in the past.

For Rituals the Lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram and after a couple of months the Lesser invoking ritual of the pentagram and the middle pillar will be of huge benefit
Exploring identity through using characters is something I’ve been drawn to and doing for a long time. It opens you beyond your current self and you can create these alternate personas and grow into those molds as they become more and more authentically you as you live them everyday. It really helped me improve parts of my life, like cleanliness, self care and self expression etc, and grow into my true self. It also helped me embrace my true sexuality and gender identity by allowing myself to “break” with the consistent identity I had before. I am no longer afraid of the thoughts of others or of being bound to some artificial version of myself. If I want to change things up I feel free to explore that always. Extremely powerful stuff for sure

As just another point of view, I know this is a month old, but I have been doing research consistently over the past few months as I've decided to take a leap into witchcraft and understanding my own spirituality. This video was my first introduction to your channel and I am already excited to see more. If you do decide to provide content for public use, I think its beneficial for people like me who are try to get as much info as possible. Being able to hear how people interact with different kinds of magick and how they felt is a really valuable experience for those of us whom may have never experienced it.

I understand your inner conflict with ads/ commercializing your practices and beliefs. I have struggled with questions pertaining to that over the last 2 years. I also struggled with what should go on youtube (public) vs a more intimate core group. My current suggestion is to perhaps put a basic intro to the topic type video on youtube and then more in-depth dive on your patreon. That way the public is exposed to the surface level concepts but your dedicated community can take deeper dives. Personally I would love to hear more in-depth information on the personal constructs idea and how you are developing that. Really enjoying your content so far!

I've been doing LBRP and Middle Pillar for a few weeks now. I feel that a lot of the magic has to do with visualization. The better you get at visualization the more you open yourself up to more creativity, more desire to align with the HIgher Self. Or rather, the better angels of your nature. This is theurgy. Not low magic where you cast spells for this or that. It's about expanding your vision in pursuit of God, in pursuit of whatever your Great Work, whatever that is.
You can use L&GPR for Theurgy or Thaumaturgy. Across all my workings through the years, Ive seen PR open up differently for each person yet lead to the same ultimate direction for all of them.

Recently watched a new Willem Dafoe movie 'Siberia', which explores guilt and is largely based on Jungian Psychology. There is a scene where Dafoe's character is playing with his childhood toys, (a method Jung used him before he would go into episodes of hallucination or Active Imagination) when his toy horseman came to life and told him not to take himself so seriously. "Enjoy life. Fuck up. Shake your ass." So we had Willem Dafoe dancing and singing in his basement like a madman to Del Shannon's 'Runaway' which became a moment of clarity and transformation for his character. It is now easily became one of my favorite film scenes. It was also funny to me since he is known for playing the Green Goblin and you mentioned Toby Mcguire in Spiderman. I’ve been having a similar train of thought lately myself after studying the occult for about 6 yrs and not practicing also. I realized i’m align with the Thelema philosophical principles and I practive Thelemic Magick. You might might interested in the following if you haven’t delved into it deeply yet: The postmodern philosophy and the postmodern self/identity, spirit work with servitors/archetypes, and Thelema or other ceremonial magick systems.
Neil Gaiman said artists are magic… I’ve seen a lot of this in certain communities (furry, larp etc) where people have avatars who better represent themselves.
You should think through what you want from magic and then pick the right path for you. Dont go and lose your soul just for the easiest way possible. If you know what i mean. Thanks for the video!
Having this content on TH-cam would be amazing; it's been difficult to find this kind of discussion publicly! I loved your discussion surrounding having a neutral self and identity constructs. Though I've been seriously studying magic for about 3 years now (chaos magick, western occult, ceremonial magick), I stumbled on viewing and interacting with the Self (TM) in plural through a secular form of psychotherapy called IFS (internal family systems) therapy. The therapy almost interfaces one-to-one with a lot of chaos magick theory, which turned my world upside down and helped me understand chaos magick theory regarding Identity Constructs. In both "technologies", success looks like a person being able to pull different Parts/Constructs at whim to respond to whatever internal or external experience at hand. I agree about your concerns with Discordian-ism feeling New Atheist, and is my main concern with currently existing discussions in the public space. It almost feels like the relevant theory/ies have been hijacked by edge-lords, for the lack of better words. LOL. I also spent 3 months performing a version of the LBRP almost every morning. It definitely helped, but I think there was more tweaking needed on my end. I'm glad you're getting results in your practices though!!

Love the IFS mention!! It’s amazing! I left grad school because my Belief systems were evolving to encompass so many different things and many are not “tangible” in the eyes of “science” little did I know - I didn’t know a lot yet. Jung - the father of the archetype and consciousness. Etc. We embrace a lot more than I realized so I’m going going back to school and want to incorporate psychology and the esoteric, metaphysical etc.
Maybe try reading Mind of Cells by Satprem. It talks about the “next step in evolution” the decent into the body. The goal is to create/produce a link from the “SupraMental” to the body and back. It’s at the least interesting and fascinating.
Hey man! Got here through a link on some subreddit or another. I'm feeling quite a bit like you are, with the same inclinations. In my case, I'm an illustrator, and I've been having my mind blown studying the tarot. (and have also just "discovered" magick at the beginning of quarantine ). In particular, Crowley/Harris' Thoth deck has floored me as dynamic chart of how energy manifests, particularly in the human concept of "self" and thought "man, imagine what they could have done with the internet, and forums, and tons of input, and zbrush and blender and photoshop skills and ....... fuck it, I have all that I'm doing this." And, like you mentioned, i felt like i needed to "advertise" it or something but after day one it felt very icky .... but that's not to say that i'm not begging for input, and don't want to squander my work by just keeping it to myself, you know?? Anyways, there's ... fertile ground for some kind of neo-occultism for mass self-development, know what i mean? ( Where else is there to go in society now? ) I've subbed, looking forward to what's ahead ~ and here's the link with all the info on my project (yes it's patreon but nothing is paywalled. Man I cannot stop thinking about a discord ring. I was just thinking too that I think a big part of the uptick in interest in the occult (my own included) is that sudden global awareness that materialism and individuality have massive drawbacks and may not be sustainable going forward. I know people in our spaces have been saying that for a long time, but it's getting pretty unavoidable to see in pretty much all mass cultural spaces now. That disenfranchisement seems like immensely fertile ground to me too. There's something in it that speaks to other occult golden years, but I haven't quite put my finger on it yet.

I’ve entertained a similar concept and realized that the “character” can be infectious and adopted by others as a functional and rewarding persona that then enacts it’s own autonomous agenda. I think Hunter S Thompson did this very well.
When you mentioned the figures surrounding you with the banishing ritual, it made me think of an idea I had trying to understand what a 4th dimensional being or object would be like (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-dimensional_space). Looking at a tesseract it has eight "cells" so I'm was envisioning a 4th dimensional being with eight selves (And I'm thinking what Sense8 was exploring). And expanding on Flatland, with a three dimensional sphere passing through a two dimensional space, a 4th dimensional being would appear as a changing (or shapeshifting) three dimensional object. Also, in our 3D world we have a two dimensional shadow, so a 4th dimensional being could have a 3D shadow, something like a ghost. Anyway, off on a tangent, but I think I'm going to explore that. Congratulations on your discipline! These methods do appear to facilitate changes. Change on the part of the practitioner, including the transcendence of one's current identity, could be considered a requirement for progress in these arts, as it is in all faithful endeavors.
I did a circle to call earth and air and became aware of people's personal space and was more respectful of them and my own. I am not good with respecting personal boundaries.

Because I felt as though I went through a year so phase where this happened then it felt like it took a hard turn for the worst because I didn’t know what I was messing with was so powerful

@@ToSalem Geoff-Gray Cobb was popular in the 70's and early 80's he published probably 5-6 books. He was my introduction to Magick in 1978. He had a unique approach in the framework of kabbalah and spell casting which is very effective. His two most popular books were "the miracle of New avatar Power "1974 and "Amazing secrets of New Avatar Power "1978. They cost hundreds of dollars (out of print) but his daughter Victoria re: published them for about $25.00 each. He also wrote one on pyramid magick and one which was a creation of his called accupineolgy. I can't begin to tell you how good these books are! I think you will find "The miracle of new avatar Power". the best.
@@ToSalem Be interesting to see your opinion of it. There's a bit of a learning curve to it. But I didn't know anything about anything in 1978. This book is special because it was his first major book and he poured everything he had learned in 30+ years into it. Things you will not see anywhere else.

Man, I stumbled upon this by complete chance. This is a great introduction for people who are wondering. That's exactly what Im trying to do myself. We have almost identical magical formulas. I also favor a combination of Chaos Magick and Golden Dawn ceremonies. Check my channel out sometime if you ever get the chance! There are many spirits a spirit is it’s word is it’s character and not all the spirits are the same. The Lord said Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. The knowledge of good and evil has been placed in the heart and is a witness of good and bad spirits showing a division. Spirits hold territory on earth the spirit of buddha is not Christ and good ministering spirits are sent to all. Whatever you treasure there your heart will be also.
Yes I understand..x..I think ✌️😃👍..dance energy especially on lay lines, In ritualistic magik is charted, but unknown/uncharted/not talked about much ,but may be an ancient territory,, ritual of the lesser banishing ritual,=performed in that special space place by ,...=Tthe magician..then dance (explore community emotion), the more the merrier/powerful energy vortex/special place xx..dance vibes give it all empathy ,dark,light..a bit like boxing..if you identify with that..but much more light than dark ..much love x..the map of this work is very vast and goes back thousands of years..but when Magik meets science /alchemy and/as it works ..it’s best kept secret..I suppose..for now until enough research is made..xx..or maybe I’m just full of nonsense ,..at the moment this ritual is very personal x ..but want to keep searching exploring..but with no mistakes 😃

I loved your discussion surrounding having a neutral self and identity constructs. Though I've been seriously studying magic for about 3 years now (chaos magick, western occult, ceremonial magick), I stumbled on viewing and interacting with the Self (TM) in plural through a secular form of psychotherapy called IFS (internal family systems) therapy. The therapy almost interfaces one-to-one with a lot of chaos magick theory, which turned my world upside down and helped me understand chaos magick theory regarding Identity Constructs. In both "technologies", success looks like a person being able to pull different Parts/Constructs at whim to respond to whatever internal or external experience at hand.
I agree about your concerns with Discordian-ism feeling New Atheist, and is my main concern with currently existing discussions in the public space. It almost feels like the relevant theory/ies have been hijacked by edge-lords, for the lack of better words. LOL.
I also spent 3 months performing a version of the LBRP almost every morning. It definitely helped, but I think there was more tweaking needed on my end. I'm glad you're getting results in your practices though!!

Love the IFS mention!! It’s amazing! I left grad school because my Belief systems were evolving to encompass so many different things and many are not “tangible” in the eyes of “science” little did I know - I didn’t know a lot yet. Jung - the father of the archetype and consciousness. Etc. We embrace a lot more than I realized so I’m going going back to school and want to incorporate psychology and the esoteric, metaphysical etc.

Maybe try reading Mind of Cells by Satprem. It talks about the “next step in evolution” the decent into the body. The goal is to create/produce a link from the “SupraMental” to the body and back. It’s at the least interesting and fascinating.

Hey man! Got here through a link on some subreddit or another. I'm feeling quite a bit like you are, with the same inclinations. In my case, I'm an illustrator, and I've been having my mind blown studying the tarot. (and have also just "discovered" magick at the beginning of quarantine ).
In particular, Crowley/Harris' Thoth deck has floored me as dynamic chart of how energy manifests, particularly in the human concept of "self" and thought "man, imagine what they could have done with the internet, and forums, and tons of input, and zbrush and blender and photoshop skills and ....... fuck it, I have all that I'm doing this."
And, like you mentioned, i felt like i needed to "advertise" it or something but after day one it felt very icky .... but that's not to say that i'm not begging for input, and don't want to squander my work by just keeping it to myself, you know??
Anyways, there's ... fertile ground for some kind of neo-occultism for mass self-development, know what i mean? ( Where else is there to go in society now? ) I've subbed, looking forward to what's ahead ~ and here's the link with all the info on my project (yes it's patreon but nothing is paywalled. Man I cannot stop thinking about a discord ring. I was just thinking too that I think a big part of the uptick in interest in the occult (my own included) is that sudden global awareness that materialism and individuality have massive drawbacks and may not be sustainable going forward. I know people in our spaces have been saying that for a long time, but it's getting pretty unavoidable to see in pretty much all mass cultural spaces now. That disenfranchisement seems like immensely fertile ground to me too. There's something in it that speaks to other occult golden years, but I haven't quite put my finger on it yet.

I’ve entertained a similar concept and realized that the “character” can be infectious and adopted by others as a functional and rewarding persona that then enacts it’s own autonomous agenda. I think Hunter S Thompson did this very well.
When you mentioned the figures surrounding you with the banishing ritual, it made me think of an idea I had trying to understand what a 4th dimensional being or object would be like (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-dimensional_space). Looking at a tesseract it has eight "cells" so I'm was envisioning a 4th dimensional being with eight selves (And I'm thinking what Sense8 was exploring).
And expanding on Flatland, with a three dimensional sphere passing through a two dimensional space, a 4th dimensional being would appear as a changing (or shapeshifting) three dimensional object. Also, in our 3D world we have a two dimensional shadow, so a 4th dimensional being could have a 3D shadow, something like a ghost. Anyway, off on a tangent, but I think I'm going to explore that. Just discovered your channel. Looking forward to seeing more.

I did a circle to call earth and air and became aware of people's personal space and was more respectful of them and my own. I am not good with respecting personal boundaries.
I became more calm and reserved in my own bubble. My first ritual and I had no tools and time so I simulated them in my minds eye.

@@ToSalem Geoff-Gray Cobb was popular in the 70's and early 80's he published probably 5-6 books. He was my introduction to Magick in 1978. He had a unique approach in the framework of kabbalah and spell casting which is very effective. His two most popular books were "the miracle of New avatar Power "1974 and "Amazing secrets of New Avatar Power "1978. They cost hundreds of dollars (out of print) but his daughter Victoria re: published them for about $25.00 each. He also wrote one on pyramid magick and one which was a creation of his called accupineolgy. I can't begin to tell you how good these books are! I think you will find "The miracle of new avatar Power". the best.

This book is special because it was his first major book and he poured everything he had learned in 30+ years into it. Things you will not see anywhere else.

Man, I stumbled upon this by complete chance. This is a great introduction for people who are wondering. That's exactly what Im trying to do myself. We have almost identical magical formulas. I also favor a combination of Chaos Magick and Golden Dawn ceremonies. Check my channel out sometime if you ever get the chance!
