    Mines is a really weird situation but thankfully it works if I keep trying hard enough and spamming the Max A/C every 30 seconds.
    Car likes to rev/show signs of jolting electricity like car sometimes shuddering when fan comes on. The car keeps tweaking trying to power on the AC compressor but once it locks it in and keeps the compressor spinning it’ll stay like that even while driving unless it randomly feels like it wants to stop spinning. Usually playing loud music helps sometimes , not sure if it’s the relay because I switched it out before and it made it a bit more responsive but still have to trial and error the AC.
    The PCM has gotten wet before from radiator damage and was changed while also sprayed down with electronic cleaner. It really could be an electrical gremlin problem but I’ll see about the relay once more see if it’ll turn on my AC compressor on command. If that isn’t it I’m just gonna chalk it up as a battery/alternator issue, pcm issue (cars been running like a top only problem is AC and random revving a couple times a week) or bad relays or compressor. 🤷‍♂️
    TLDR; Can’t make AC blow cold on command but will work when it wants to. Spamming Off to MAX A/C will sometimes make it “catch” so compressor will begin spinning and sometimes stay that way until turns back off randomly or turning off car. Loud music and charging phone with a little bit of luck sometimes helps to trigger compressor but not always sometimes it’ll start spinning on its own without any electronics like music.

    AC turns on but always HOT air only after replacing my Radiator. used a recharge bottle from WaL-Mart,
    Don’t know if I should use more Bottles or check FUSES/Compressor fittings.. my thoughts are that something is loose because it used to blow great.

    I just replaced all the major AC components on my 05. New collected and compressor. Ac was working great for the day blew 50 degrees below ambient on the way home. But when I turned the ac off the blower wouldn’t come back on. I drove the car again and when I started the car with the ac on it fired right up. But the next day the blower was working fine. I turned the ac on and off many times and it would blow but now the ac compressor isn’t working. I’m gonna check that relay again but I find it odd that now it’s not working but the blower was fine

    Thanks for the info but you didn’t mention the AC diode! If this is bad will the relay not send power to the compressor? Ground and power good at all pins but no power to the white pin to compressor but when I hot wire the white pin the compressor kicks on.

    • @georgegravette1132
      @georgegravette1132 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is; I replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. When in doubt, check the side of the transducer/switch opposite the pigtail, i.e., the part that screws into the valve. You'll see the tiny post in the opening, that presses onto the schrader valve's plunger.

    Great video! Do you have any advice (possibly another video) on what to do if your A/C clutch will not disengage? My sometimes gets stuck engaged, even when I turn off the A/C. I have been researching and I think it is the low pressure switch, but not 100% sure. I temporarily removed the A/C clutch relay to prevent the system from building too much pressure.

    • @LehewTech
      @LehewTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would first suspect that the relay itself is failing.

    • @KieranCloud813
      @KieranCloud813 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LehewTech I thought the same thing. I swapped relays with another circuit which I confirmed was already working, but it still has the issue.

    • @LehewTech
      @LehewTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      From studying the wiring diagram, I see no possible way a failing pressure sensor can cause the ac compressor to engage.. If the compressor clutch is engaged, you will want to see if it is recieving voltage from the relay. The easiest way to check this is to remove the relay and see if the compressor clutch disengages. If upon removing the relay, the clutch disengages, and assuming the relay is good, then we can assume that the powertrain control module is commanding that the ac relay engage. This could be the result of a failing PCM, a short in a wiring harness or a malfunctioning climate control module that is erroneously requesting the PCM to turn on the AC.

    I am having a serious issue with my 2008 GT. The Blower Motor Relay, the socket that it goes into, for some reason is really loose... the relay doesn't fit snug in there, and my blower motor doesn't go on. A solution I found, is if I bend the prongs slightly on the relay it fits tighter in there securing the connection and it starts to work... the problem is.... for some reason, it ends up blowing/burning... I've gone through 3 of these relays.... the first one blew when I adjust my lumbar support on my seat, the second time it just randomly went out after a while, as well for the third time. Another thing is when I inspect the 3 relays, they have a burn mark on ONLY one prong and on different numbers... the one that just recently went out has a burn mark on the prong labeled as 87. Other times it was 30. IF you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know! Without the blower motor being powered, I get no air.... and its HOT out!

      turns out mine had a messed up computer (pcm/ecu) - this fixed that and made the car run much smoother. i had a check engine light on as well. That went away immediately. I would check the blower motor before taking it that far though. if that didnt fix it, then id check your compressor to be sure that’s working properly.. (which sounds like it is but be sure) THEN go to the ecu. my ac blew colder that it ever has and i havent had a problem since i changed the computer. hope this helps

  • @xavcar15

    Trying my luck here. I have proper charge on my AC system and a new compressor. Replaced the compressor because I misdiagnosed the A/C clutch. Issue is clutch is not engaging even tho A/C system has proper charge. Bypassed the relay and compressor clutch engages and blows cold. Checked LP transducer with a volt and ohm meter no issues. Read some forums regarding problems with a WOT relay causing the compressor clutch to not engage. What are your thoughts also if you could link a wiring diagram and location for WOT relay.
