    Good that you combine D3 and K2 in this. Should mention magnesium as it is required to activate D3.

    I wouldn't consider 1600 or 3200 IU as high. I consider 4000 or 5000 as appropriate for most people. I take 5000 most days (but not every day) and my levels for 25-Hydroxy D were just a fraction over the top end of the normal range. I do also take K2.
    Possibly 7000+ should be considered high. Based on my own experience, I wouldn't take that much every day without regular testing.
    I get ectopics (extra beats) which occasionally (very rarely) kick off tachycardia, but I haven't found D3 or K2 significantly affects that. I did find going low carb affects that. Since going low carb, the ectopics reduced significantly and the tachycardia is maybe just a couple of times a year. On a higher carb diet it was at least once a month.

    I looked up this study to see who funded it and there were no conflicts of interest. It looks like the methodology and design of the study met professional standards. It is an interesting study that went on for five years. It seems that increasingly more research is finding Vitamin D3 deficiency is linked to many medical problems.

      I review countless studies. Sadly, there are only conflicts of interest when there is a ton of money to be made. Studies that challenge the “drugs are the only answer” narrative are non conflicted like this one. Appreciate the comment, thank you for watching.

    I had what they told me was irritation in the blood vessels on the side of my foot and give ne an antibiotic. I had a place the size of a quarter raised and actually itchy. About 6 months later i developed a fib. I started hearing about vit d 3. Decided to give it a try. Take 2000 iu a day. Also got on a cpap. Within a few months the side of my foot looked normal and other odd symptoms i had went away. The a fib is also much calmer. I feel better in general.

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  ปีที่แล้ว

      My apologies, but how do you lower the risk without lowering the occurrence?

    • @bentrider
      @bentrider ปีที่แล้ว

      @@natural-informant well, why don't we start with a discussion of what risk factors are and how the medical establishment has determined them?
      It certainly seems logical that one could have a risk factor or multiple risk factors and never have AFib.
      An analogy might be that we have a risk factor every time we wake up in the morning of dying. That doesn't mean a whole lot to me. What's important to me is if I actually die.

    Hello, I agree with almost everything you say in your videos. I would like to point out that at the end of this one, you say vitamin k......and not vit. k2. Many people don't understand there is a difference between K and K2. I have been taking all these supplements for 5 to 10 years. So please make sure you make clear the difference between vit k and k2. You said vitamin K forces calcium in the bones at the end of the video. I know k2 is what you meant. But if you are dealing with people who research their supplements. Vitiman k comes up when you type Vit. K2 so they might get confused and do the wrong thing. I have told people about K2 and they come back to me and say they get lots of green leafy vegs. Thank you!

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Kevin, thank you for the comment. I’m sorry, but I’ve got to disagree with you ever so slightly. It seems like you are inferring that Vitamin K1 is Vitamin K, when, in fact, vitamin K refers to all types of the vitamin. I recommend people take both vitamin K1 and K2 since the leafy green K1 version is responsible for normal blood clotting, both when you need to clot and when you don’t. And for K2, just like you said, it’s mainly responsible for calcium balance. The favorite product I listed in the description of this video has both in it. Hope that clears it up.🍻

    Recent test revealed high amounts of calcium deposits in my arteries. (Lit up like a Christmas tree!)
    Since then I have increased my D3 and K2 and have NEVER supplemented with Calcium. I do eat dairy-mostly grass-fed butter and cheeses only, now.
    ¿How did this happen?
    ¿How do I dissolve the calcium deposits?
    Thank you for your excellent information and guidance!
    Note: Aortic valve replaced 2001 (after damaged by statin prescription), and replaced again 2021 via TAVR.

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The changes you have made are perfect. Calcium has been promoted for so long as a good mineral, it is a great mineral, but everyone gets plenty from their diet. Supplementing with calcium is not necessary to obtain the negative effects of calcification. Sounds like you didn’t have enough vitamin K to force that blood calcium into your bones, which you are now supplementing with.

      I can tell you that the vitamin D and the magnesium together are safe, but I can’t comment on the combination with the blood thinner. My apologies, but I can’t give medical advice. Please check with your doctor, I don’t see why there would be an issue, but I still can’t give you that full recommendation.

    Never ever heard anyone say that

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What I like about Vegan D is that it comes from Lichen and it’s organic. Animals in far northern and southern climates with periods of very little sunlight get their vitamin D from eating this fungal/algae plant. The problem with lanolin derived Vitamin D, and animal derived supplements in general, is the regulations for the health of the animal are fairly lax. For instance, sheep or goats with liver disease, can still have lanolin extracted without FDA issue. As long as the wool isn’t diseased, it can be used for anything, including ingested products.

I would say that the most important type of K to take would be

    I take 4000 IU + K2 in the summer raising to 8000 IU in the winter and very rarely get any colds etc, if I do the pass very quickly.
    The 400 IU recommendation is actually the minimum, and that was reduced from an original 800 IU through some bad maths.

    • @natural-informant
      @natural-informant  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great work. Yeah they are now recommending 800 for people over age 70, but they’ll never go any higher because that would create far too much wellness.

    Here is a good one. I had A-Fib probably still do I don't really know. But I haven't had any of the signs in a long time. I was given a prescription for a drug Called Multac for my A-Fib. Three months into taking the drug I nearly fainted. I couldn't wait. I went to emergency that fateful day.January 1 2022.. one and a half hours later I was on my way home with a 1200 medical bill. Expensive observation. Well I got home and read the insert that came with the DRUG. The very first sentience had this WARNING THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE A-FIB. My PCP Said I should have asked for a smaller dose. What an Idiot Statin's reduce heart attacks he told me. I replied Then why is heart dis-eas still the number one killer. No reply. Just like when I asked him why is depriving the body of oxygen good for our health. He didn't answer cause he didn't have one.
