Dr berg is always on time, i was in the hospital yesterday for arital fibrillation, i cheated off the keto diet and ate ice cream and I believe that's what caused my afib. When I'm eating right I have no problems. Once I eat something unhealthy my afib acts up
Louis Hernandez That’s because you probably are on the brink of magnesium deficiency. Sugar needs insuline to Lowe blood sugar spikes and that causes magnesium to go outside the cell.
I've been on keto, religiously, for a year. Then I had a whopper. Bloated, exhausted, felt gross like reverse keto flu. No AFib tho and I'm prone to it.
Hi Dr. Berg Thanks again: for your constant flow of health information for health minded folks. Always something to learn on your channel. Irish Bob appreciates it all.😇😎
Dr.Berg, I think to me the main reason that was causing my heart arrhythmias is the sugar, carbs and high insuline. Once I changed my diet to Keto and reduced dramatically my calories intake, I noticed that this problem was gone completly, and also my problem with headech was gone too.
Dr Berg I like your board setting out the presentation. Great to "see" as well as hear what you are saying. Ability to pause and rethink is wonderful and helps fix the content in my mind. BUT, the video keeps switching away from the board onto unnecessary "pictures" that usually do not enhance the learning experience. Reduce this other "stuff" or better still remove it completely. I love your quick explanatory informative videos with great content on the board. The board is the learning medium. The rest is guff and puff. Thanks
Yesterday, on my own, I discovered after coffee I need to increase my magnesium AND potassium, because the coffee shot my b.p. up and an avocado took it down. This is good news. I had afib last year was put on drugs for that, am weening off those drugs, and am taking K2 during this process. Timely video, this is good news.
My consumption of a whole strawberry cheesecake yesterday gave me heart palpitations probably from the sugar and the realisation of what I'd just done due to missing a sugar hit since starting keto. Oh well, back on track immediately, starting with exercise and a long fast.
Hah !! Dale you and me both !! 🙄 I bought a locally made Baileys-infused cheesecake (about 5"diameter) and ate half at one go... I even got a headache from it !! 😂😂 The rest of it was nibbled on for a week 🙄😏 Mmmm... 😈
Could also be tyramine sensitivity. All berries are high in amines, the cheese too. Combining two foods high in amines when you have a sensitivity always results in palpitations, and possibly an elevated BP, migraine.

I developed AFib last summer. UGH. I take a low-dose beta-blocker, plus the blood thinner xarelto. But I tend to agree with you and this video of Dr. Bergs. When I increase my magnesium intake I always start to feel much more relaxed and my heart rhythm stays steady and solid. I drink too much coffee, so that depletes magnesium which is a bad thing. I was advised that as we age the body clock alters calcium build up from bones and teeth to soft tissue. The calcification of arterial disease. Then advised to eat natto or take vit k2 mk7 along with vit D3 as it reverses the calcium build up in soft tissue back to bones teeth or passed out in stools. Electrolytes are important as well. I understand everybody's body is different. Now a few years later arteries should be a lot cleaner. K2 mk7 also prevents plaque on teeth and can help with prevention of tooth decay. It is known that bad teeth and arteries go together. God bless

My 18 year old daughter had sudden death in December. Luckily directly in front of me and we did CPR and she was life flighted and everything. It was determined due to heart arrhythmia and potentially is Brugata although genetic testing was done and still not for sure. She had been drinking quite a few energy drinks for about a year leading up to the incident. None that day but she experienced a migraine and left work early. She was feeling a lot of stress as well. If makes sense to me that the energy drinks most likely were a leading factor.

What an info-packed video. The kind I'm going to have to re-watch a couple of times to absorb it all. Thanks!
such information is nowhere else available - its really gold
Dr. Berg is such a wonderful human being. I pick a video at random and watch him every morning.
Dr Berg is the best teacher ever! ✌🏼😎👍🏼

K2 is a very underrated vitamin. It not only remove excessive calcium, but also prevents osteoporosis, that's two big birds with one stone.
As long as its not a gall or kidney stone 😖😖
@@peterfitzpatrick7032 what do you mean?
@@Jhadyspeaksgallstones are made from hardened bile...
Kidney stones, whilst being mainly calcium, have other "ingredients" unlikely to be affected by K2...
Personally, I take 10'000 IUs of D3 and 100mcgs of K2 myself daily...

Hi Dr. Berg
Thanks again: for your constant flow of health information for health minded folks.
Are u talking about pvcs?
He already has been telling us about Lito, sugar free.what do you mean.

I like your board setting out the presentation.
Avocados really help me. I had a few a day and couldn't believe how good I Felt compared to other things I ate. Was fasting and added the avocado.
I bought a locally made Baileys-infused cheesecake (about 5"diameter) and ate half at one go... OMG it was gorgeous...😋 but having cut sugar out of my diet years ago, it REALLY gave me an insulin spike... palpitation ?? I even got a headache from it !! 😂😂
The rest of it was nibbled on for a week 🙄😏 Mmmm... 😈
Could also be tyramine sensitivity. All berries are high in amines, the cheese too. Combining two foods high in amines when you have a sensitivity always results in palpitations, and possibly an elevated BP, migraine.
What does a heart palpitation feel like
@@evilprospers6838 you can really feel every beat, like your hearts tryin to burst out of your chest almost.... & usually its beating a lot faster than normal... its the sensation that really freaks people out more than anything else, theres no pain or anything like that... 😒
LOL
Excellent putting all the pieces together..mom had arrythmias...on Coumadin many years so limited greens allowed. Bad reactions to anti- arrhythmics...magnesium was perfect for her.
Am working to reduce the amount of coffee I consume. (Glad things are working out good for your mom!)☺
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 thanks, actually forgot to mention she also had 2 cardioversion procedures which did not work and she actually coded on the table for a brief period. These meds and procedures are often dangerous and ineffective. Hate that she remains on Coumadin but can't chance that. It's good that you're realizing and are able to make some lifestyle changes that sound like would work.better than another med with potential other side effects.

Your welcome, I like how your studies and research you actually show how certain Substances such as calcium affect the body in different ways it’s almost as if You’re sharing your knowledge and that not all doctors have the time to do this. Hopefully in the future if I have any future health issues maybe you could answer a question for me thanks a ton
I have suffered atrial fibrillation and flutter having had 2 ablation. I have tachycardia as well. I had open heart surgery for birth defect 43 years ago. TAPVR 2 w/ASD. I was told this is what caused my arrhythmias.
Taurine can really help too, I take 4000mg a day and it helps with transportation of cal, mag, potassium sodium.
I have persistent atrial fibrillation and have just started taking Taurine and Magnesium (I already took D3&K2) and my arrhythmia has gone. It's early days yet but hopefully, I have found a breakthrough

I had it years ago and in my case was high iron. I learned it from a book on natural remedies which came to me by serendipity. I took calcium magnesium pills and the arrhythmia stop in days..amazing. I learned when over 50 you should not eat much iron instead change to magnesium calcium . I ve been eating brewers yeast for years...since young as a supplement..I stop that.
I know this is years old, but just a wild shot in the dark.
Can you tell me the book name and the brand and dose of calcium magnesium you used.

That’s a large dose of vitamin d. My dr told me to take it 3 times a week every other day because it can cause damage if taking too much and I only take 5000 iuds

I have SVT. I currently take a beta blocker. I took a calcium channel blocker, which didn't help. Also if I take magnesium it makes my SVT worse. When I take high amounts of potassium supplements I actually feel better for a while. I take vitamin k2 with d3.

Stress and chocolate got me. I eat mostly dark chocolate almost on a daily basis, too much of it but I do it because of the magnesium and potassium content. I’ve read in an article that cocoa is has the highest content in mg and potassium out of them all.

For years ive suffered from GERD taking large daily doses of calcium antacids never realizing until recently that was driving the problem . After learning about and then taking betaine hydrochloride the problem subsided and my digestion improved. People with Crohns disease who can't eat vegeatables and leafy greens...What can they do?
Would be nice to know where to get an intracellular test as mentioned.
God bless

Would drinking distilled water be a good way to keep excess calcium down? Since it absorbs unneeded minerals.
Great video. Not sure why, but it makes me want to double check my own habits, like making sure I can't get excess calcium from smoking medical pot.
Also...this new knowledge does line up with my new personal thoughts that excessive calcium may be a notable culprit in increasing sensitivity to EMF radiation... from say a cellphone and Wi-Fi home router. will look deeper into this.
and i finally looked into chicken production since the doc has videos on it....after seeing Google images of chicken on a zinc deficient diet.... think I'll insist on natural ones like they do overseas

Definitely. Ive seem this too.
