What a guy! Robert Estrin recommending other piano related youtube channels to help expand the piano knowledge of his viewers. People like Robert are the ones in life you want to associate yourself with!
I think living pianos also classify to the top ten list. I've been watching your videos for a few years and enjoy and learn a lot from them. Thanks for this video. I was familiar with more than half of these channels.
I'm subbed to everyone of those channels, except for living the classical life. And in fact it was Jazer Lee that inspired me to buy a piano just before my 66th birthday. I started watching one of his videos, stopped it and went to my local music store and bought a (non-weighted key) piano, and finished the video. A week later I upgraded to a Yamaha digital, since the music store is really nice. In fact, I am now taking lessons there. One channel you didn't mention was Music Matters. Gareth Greene is an organist that runs his channel with Alex, and is excellent especially for Baroque and Classical/Romantic music. He showed me the Rule of the Octave. Merci beaucoup for your list....I highly recommend the Vinheteiro and Pianote videos. There is a scene at the end that will have you laughing, guaranteed.
I'm a long-time subscriber and Patreon patron of Tiffany Poon. When I started watching this, I thought if you didn't talk about Tiffany, I'd leave a comment about her YT channel. But I didn't have to wait long to find out if she would be mentioned. I agree, Tiffany is very deserving of her spot on this video! I love the videos she does about old pianos, rare Steinway pianos, and other piano topics. She just recently bought a 1906 Steinway as her first piano and she loves it.
Jazer lee & Naher sol also Hoffman academy . Mr. Hoffman is amazing in explaining the rhythm and pieces become so easy to play with his especial method .
I knew about and enjoy: Paul Barton, Pianote, Jazer Lee, Nahre Sol, and Vinheteiro. I also enjoy London Contemporary School of Music, Aimee Nolte Music, and Piano TV. Thank you for the recommendations.
So glad to see Paul Barton in your list. What an amazing pianist and artist. An incredibly humble and generous man, father of young Emily who, with his artist wife has raised her into a thriving young, multi talented in her own right.
I had only heard of a couple of those channels, just Josh Wright and Tiffany Poon and I subscribe to both of them. It should be fun checking out the rest. Although I'm sure that Living Pianos will always be my favorite.😇
The TH-cam Algorithm has been kind. I'm subscribed to ALL of them and am happy to have found yours a couple of years ago. I found Paul Barton first because of my love for piano music, art (Barton as an astoundingly talented portraitist), and elephants. I learn so much from you, and from them all. Thank you. 💖🎶🙏😄
You know you spend too much time on TH-cam (and too few practising) when you already know and follow all of those channels! 😅 And, yes, all are really interesting!. Thanks Robert for this wonderful selection
Maestro - I watch Paul Barton, Lord V and I am a ProPractice student with Josh Wright. I like his free pro practice beginning lessons for my very old memory. Of course, I am trying to catch up on many, many videos that you have made. I will take a look at some of the other channels that you mention. Thanks
Thanks so much, Robert! I already follow Paul Barton, Tiffany Poon (whose signature opening piece was a Scarlatti sonata that I ended up buying!) and Lord V. There's another guy who does weird things to pianos like put them underwater, tune them in strange ways and stuff. I would also recommend Open Studio jazz and someone below mentioned Heart of the Keys! Amy nolte music is also a great instructive jazz piano channel.
I absolutely love love Nahre Sol and Jazer Lee! I have been a big fan of both for years now. Thanks Robert - you’re a real mensch for making this video and showcasing other great pianists!
You forgot one other amazing channel... tonebase piano! Great channel, but I think a lot of the content is more geared towards intermediate to advanced pianists.
Most of these are in my subscriber list - Jazer being my go-to for tuition - but another good resource especially for beginners is Piano Roadmap with Susan, and Piano Tips with Stefan Wyatt, both of which have some great repertoire tutorials and free courses. Living the classical life is a new one to me, I'll definitely check it out!
The only one I hadn't heard of is Living the Classical Life. I've learned a lot from the others or just really enjoyed watching (Lord Vinheteiro!!!). A nod to your channel, as well.
I must say, I truly love Neil Archers livestreams, too. The other ones are great. Next livestream is this Sunday, MArch 3rd around 21:00 C.E.T. He takes requests and sells piano scores/covers. Truly great stuff.
Thank you, Robert, for not only sharing your expansive and most helpful videos, but recommending fellow pianists who share your love and dedication for the art of the piano! Another one I have enjoyed greatly is Charles Szczepanek's Pianist Academy. I especially enjoy the live masterclass sessions where pianists can submit their videos and he goes over them with suggestions and examples, and interacts with us to answer our questions in the chat.
I have enjoyed most of these for a while, but grateful for the recommendations of the couple of channels I hadn’t come across! I also love Tonebase Piano!
Agree - Tommy's videos on piano self recording and equipment recommendations are some of the best I've seen. Also great tips on practicing for optimal results. Very intelligent guy.
I clicked so fast when I saw this video come up! I am subscribed to most of these channels 🙂🙂🙂 but I gotta root for Jayzer cos he’s in Australia 🇦🇺 where I live 🙂
I saw videos of someone playing, maybe not for elephants, but for other animals. I am a fan of Jazer Lee and Nahre Sol (fantastic improvisations and understandings of different composer styles), and will certainly check out the rest. Thank you.
Most of these I have heard of and follow. Hadn't heard of Nahre Sol or the living the classical life...but all the rest absolutely! Thank you for putting this list together. One thing I'm curious about is a list of pianist who specializes in church hymn playing as I play for my church and am definitely seeking to always improve
I watch all of the ones mentioned and would add Bachscholar and Authentic Sound and Bernhard Ruchti's channel where they are experimenting with slower tempi, period instruments. Wolfgang Weller as well.
Robert, thank you so much for this list of resources! I ‘m not sure what it says about me, as I’m a just a busy beginner adult learner… but I am following them and some more :-)
Robert Einstein, or Robert Estrin? lolz. THANKS for this; just discovered you. Took some classical piano as a kid; but now looking for 'play by ear' tutorials.
I’m literally subscribed to all these channels . I would also like to include these other TH-cam channels to the list Heart of keys, Tonebase, HS:Horowitztm, BRILLIANTE piano lessons,Cateen, Charlie Albright, Jacob Gran, Royal college of music has great masterclasses from world renowned pianist, Valentina Lisitsa, and of course TwoSet Violin.
For those who enjoy more current music, from Misty and Unforgettable to The Prayer by Andrea Bocelli, I encourage you to check out Jon Michael Ogletree. His piano arrangements are simply some of the best.
I watch Wright, Pianote, Lee, Sol, and Lord V. I'd like to mention your channel, Jason Zac. Piano with Jonny, and Charles Cornell. Also, for the person who wants to learn s plethora of soul songs - Marc DeLyric.
Thank you for the list of fantastic channels, of which I know and regularly watch n early every one. But as they are all so popular, I'm sure most people who are into piano playing know them. There are many many other excellent channels with great tips which are not so well known, which perhaps people could recommend? For example, Pianist Academy, Denis Zhdanov, Cedarville, to name just a few which I really like and have really helped me.
@MikesMusic123 This channel is incredible and got me playing after a few false starts. Less polished than the others but Mike’s passion for the songs he plays is contagious. (If anybody ever heard what happened to Mike I’d love to know!)
Good suggestion -- Charles Szczepanek's Pianist Academy. I enjoy the live masterclass sessions where pianists can submit their videos and he goes over them with suggestions and examples, and interacts with us to answer our questions in the chat.
I was hoping someone would mention her. She is such an energetic, optimistic person, and she goes into detail of how to break-down practicing difficult piano problems into manageable bites really well. I haven't seen her post anything new in several months, so I hope she's still out there.
What a guy! Robert Estrin recommending other piano related youtube channels to help expand the piano knowledge of his viewers. People like Robert are the ones in life you want to associate yourself with!
Hi! Thank you for featuring and saying all those nice words :)
The way you share in such a personal way impacts many people. Hope your career continues to grow!
Thanks so much Robert for including me in your lovely video. Really appreciate it!
Tonebase Piano is also fantastic!
Thank you so much for your kindness Robert! I have enjoyed watching many videos on your channel over the years. I hope you are having a great week :)
Glad to see Jazer in there. I discovered him when he was just starting out. It's great to see how successful he has become!
Yay Tiffany Poon! ❤ She's amazing!
🥹🙏❤
I think living pianos also classify to the top ten list. I've been watching your videos for a few years and enjoy and learn a lot from them. Thanks for this video. I was familiar with more than half of these channels.
That is good to hear - There are many more Living Pianos videos coming your way!
As a 74 year old beginner, I am ever grateful to you, Robert, for your sage piano advice and your ever-present enthusiasm
Thanks for all you do👍🏼

Great suggestions. I also like tonebase, especially the content with Seymour Bernstein!
Shout-out for Heart of the Keys!!
Thanks for the youtube channels, yes, Jazer, Paul Barton, Graham Fitch, Pianote, Vineteiro, Nahre Sol.
Jazer lee & Naher sol also Hoffman academy . Mr. Hoffman is amazing in explaining the rhythm and pieces become so easy to play with his especial method .
Maestro Estrin, your channel is in company of many greats! We learn much from you; and now for so long... Thanks to you!!

Thank you,Maestro⭐🌹⭐
Nice recommendations! I'm familiar with a few.
I also like Open Studio for jazz, David Bennett Piano, and Charles Cornell.
May I suggest also Tonebase as well. Many prestigious guest speakers on that channel. Very educational.
I watched all the 7 channels mentioned but I am only subscribed to the best one I know:
LivingPianosVideos!
Highly recommended!!!! 😊
I had only heard of a couple of those channels, just Josh Wright and Tiffany Poon and I subscribe to both of them. It should be fun checking out the rest. Although I'm sure that Living Pianos will always be my favorite.😇

Lord Vinheitero is my favorite pianist.
Yup, Jazer Lee and Nahre Sol are both great!!! I'll have to look at the other ones you mention. Thanks!
I must say, I truly love Neil Archers livestreams, too. The other ones are great. Next livestream is this Sunday, MArch 3rd around 21:00 C.E.T. He takes requests and sells piano scores/covers. Truly great stuff.

Thanks for sharing other websites. So much talent around the world, so pleased that you point to others.
Very useful video!

I’ve been subscribed to these and a few more. I might add Tonebase and Tommy’s Piano Corner (for us returning to piano old folks).
Agree - Tommy's videos on piano self recording and equipment recommendations are some of the best I've seen. Also great tips on practicing for optimal results. Very intelligent guy.
I knew just Nahre Sol, Pianote, and Lord Vinheteiro!
I'm gonna check the other, for sure!
Excellent..great variety. There are a few more
Thanks for this
Very generous

Great suggestions! Thanks for putting that list together.
I saw videos of someone playing, maybe not for elephants, but for other animals. I am a fan of Jazer Lee and Nahre Sol (fantastic improvisations and understandings of different composer styles), and will certainly check out the rest. Thank you.
I was just recommended Bognar's work by my professor today! Thank you for the extra reinforcement and recommendations Robert!
I would highly recommend The Piano Lab with Craig Walstead. Awesome teacher with main focus on proper technique.

Kent Hewitt is amazing for jazz piano, one of my favorite channels because he gives you a smile every time (as you do, Robert).
I have just realised i know 5 out of 7 which makes me an expert of sorts on high quality piano video channels.
@MikesMusic123
This channel is incredible and got me playing after a few false starts. Less polished than the others but Mike’s passion for the songs he plays is contagious. (If anybody ever heard what happened to Mike I’d love to know!)
I follow most of them and yes they are all amazing 💖
♬ Yes: My favorite is on your list. " Lord Vinheteiro" A very fun YT Channel - Gary from Michigan 🚂
LivingPianosVideos is more attracting to beginners than all other 7 channels.
Right on Vinheteiro was included.
I know and like/love them all but let's not forget Heart of the Keys and Grzegorz Niemczuk!
Jazer Lee and Nahre Sol are the one I watched. I do watch Vinheteiro sometime just for entertainment.
Add Hoffman Academy to the list, too!
A little anxiety here realizing how much I don’t know and will probably never master😢
Kent Hewett is amazing at jazz
I watch several of those. I am very fond no of Open Studio with Adam Menis and Peter Martin.
As a beginner, Jazer guy seems to have the most clear instruction
Thanks yet again Robert. Lord V if you're comfortable splitting your sides.😅
I like them all
How can you mention Lord V. without recommending his video titled, "Spiderman plays pizza song using his webs."
In addition to pianist academy by Charless zczebanek.
Such a fabulous pianist and educator - great suggestion! @charlesszezepanek
Good suggestion -- Charles Szczepanek's Pianist Academy. I enjoy the live masterclass sessions where pianists can submit their videos and he goes over them with suggestions and examples, and interacts with us to answer our questions in the chat.

I have recently discovered Denis Zhdanov , who I think is brilliant .
Should add Sonata Secrets as well. His channel is wonderful.
@DanaeDorkenPiano is fantastic as well.
I'll check it out!
I was hoping someone would mention her. She is such an energetic, optimistic person, and she goes into detail of how to break-down practicing difficult piano problems into manageable bites really well. I haven't seen her post anything new in several months, so I hope she's still out there.
