One point... you mentioned that the throttle required a bit more force than you were used to. When you move the throttle all the way forward, on the bottom an adjustment screw should become visible, you can use this to control the tightness of the throttle.
Protip: If the throttle gets a bit sticky, you can apply WD40 to the base where the "slides" are (or whatever they are called, English is not my mother tongue, sorry). Did it about a year ago, mostly playing Elite: Dangerous and SW: Squadrons, about 400 hours played later it still works like a charm. I'd even recommend it right out of the factory. Just a little bit. And you can use the slides themselves to "work it in". Ah, yeah the twisting sensors on the flight stick have a habit of wearing off, it is a manufacturing thing, so it comes up sooner or later in all of them, so I do recommend to use the rudder bars on the throttle instead. And thank you for the video, I was looking for an excuse that it is worth playing FS without a 400 USD rig, and you gave me just that. :)
I used electrical contact cleaner and it worked perfectly, and for those who don’t know you can adjust the stiffness of the throttle from the base whilst the throttle is all the way forward 😊
I have had the Logitech Extreme 3D PRO for quite some time and I recommend it if you are on a really tight budget, you're a beginner or just want something to play right away. Now I've been looking to add a throttle to my setup and so far this kit is the one that is still on a budget and you get quite a complete set for your flying. Thanks for the video.
Thank you very much for this review! along with your Airbus and the T package, it really helped us to make an informed purchase, went with this one , but was close to a yolk package also
Hello My Friend.... Long Time.... Great To See Your Still Hard At The Review Business... Hope To See You Again On Canadian Drone Hub Soon.... Good Job....
I can't comment on the flight-stick, or the rudder pedals as I don't own them, but I can tell you that the throttle (out of the box) is trash. It's notoriously sticky. However, I've heard that after modifying it it performs quite well.
I hated mine and sent it back within days. Compared to my X52 setup, it felt clunky and cheap. My 15yr old joystick had the same amount of buttons on the grip. The throttle was massive and also felt cheap and sticks...the X52's throttle was ergonomic and fit your hand like a glove...it also uses a pivot style motion instead of a tracked. The stick itself you can feel grinding plastic on plastic conmpared to the smooth X52. I play Elite Dangerous and the fact this stick has most of its buttons on the base really sucked bc you have to ket go of stick or throttle to get to one of the 12 buttons on the base... The thrustmaster also didn't have that precise feel.. even when setting the deadzones it seems to be full/full on when using the stick. Although the X52 has some major driver issues and software issues, it is worth the time spent worki9ng these out for the quality at the same price.
x52 is built better but its still a rebranded saitek and comes with all the issues associated with the brand, if you get lucky you'll get a good one but 90% of the time itll suck shit and break very very quick. im surprised you say that the centre play is more on the thrusmaster compared to the x52 because that is contrary to pretty much every comparison i've ever seen online. the thrustmaster needs some tuning with the curves and itll feel pretty damm good. i've personally not owned either the x52 or the x56 but a friend of mine had his x56 fully stop working within 5 months.
You hardly need any deadzones with the T16000m, it has very good hall sensors. You need to setup axis curves because by default it comes with a linear motion.
More than 50hrs in last 2 months? Wow serious gamer here. Just kidding :) thanks for review, considering to buy thrustmaster 1600 myself , not sure about pedal tho.

omg how did i not know this.. thanks
There is a screw to control the resistance of the thrust. It completely changed the experience.

Dont use wd40 on plastic material it can eat it over time

What do you mean with you recommend the use of the rudder bars on the throttle instead?

Alright, that's it, I'm buying this. Great review, thanks!
Mine does not sync well with Microsoft flight simulator 2020. Any way i can reconfigure my setup?

can u change the throttle side to use it with ur right hand also?
one of the best videos i ever see
I realize Im kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Jaxx Reed try FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)
@Jairo Markus Yea, I have been watching on FlixZone for since april myself :)
@Jairo Markus Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it !
@Jaxx Reed no problem :)
i like that trotle control, is the closest thing to the macross frontier trotle i have seen
Can I use this to fly helicopters ?
Hi, how do you connect to Xbox X to running the new Microsoft Flight simulator ?
Is there a right hand throttle or a way to configure it for your right hand so you can use the left for the joystick?
What PC hardware are you using for the simulator... I read that its a very heavy game on even the most modern set of gear. Btw nice review, thanks.
but what u will do in engine failure situation where you need only on thrust lever !!
What do you prefer between this or the TCA Airbus? I'm thinking of just getting the joystick itself. I have no interest in the thruster.
I want to Use the Slider optionally as helicopter power / collective. Would this Work with suitable mapping (X-Plane 12) ,?
Do you need to have three usb ports to use this kit or only one?
You need two. The rudders plug into the throttle. The throttle and joystick each have a usb plug that goes into the PC. Hope this helps.
Best combo is twcs + vkb gladiator nxt evo
6:22 I feel like he tried to give us some subliminal messages there 💀
What is About Reverse Thrust?

very good video. i own that and it is true what you said. very good hardware.
Does the throttle have any way for reverse thrust when in an Airbus do you know?
Is it easy to juse whit small hands?
Its pc only, right?
I just ordered this. I got sick of using a controller and a keyboard
What´s your Laptop?
More than 50hrs in last 2 months? Wow serious gamer here. Just kidding :) thanks for review, considering to buy thrustmaster 1600 myself , not sure about pedal tho.
It has force feedback ?
Does it work on windows 11??
04:20 - Like a siiiiiiir sipping tea
Does the plastic feel just as weak as on the Hotas 4/X series? I really dislike how cheap and weak those feel.
So this very good for new players?
Ordered it 10 minutes ago.
There is a MUST HAVE mod for the throttle. th-cam.com/video/y-AcrPFEkRI/w-d-xo.html
the throttle is garbage , the stick and rudder are ok
for 130 its great

Hotas review from someone who can’t fly for peanuts. Really sad review
