There were fans who complained that MCU Spider-Man was Iron Man Jr. But at the end of this trilogy, Peter is Spider-Man from the comics. This was basically a 3 part origin story.
This reaction was the first time it clicked for me why Electro says the power felt different to him in this universe. I always thought it was a weird line to suggest electricity was somehow different between universes or that something about each universe would make it feel different. But I think it's actually because the MCU ends up with a cleaner form of energy than we have in our world (and Electro in his). If we go all the way back to the Avengers, its implied Stark Industries shifted its focus from weapons to energy - we see Tony starting on a project to bring about cleaner energy (presumably fueled by Arc Reactor tech) beginning with Stark Tower, and imaginably the project only spread in the many years since, I'm sure at least to the rest of New York. I realized Electro even says the Arc Reactor is the energy he was feeling when he gets to Happy's place and sees it. It's also possible Wakanda's energy systems were already being spread around the world as part of their efforts to share knowledge and technology after Black Panther.
his body was reacting and avoiding danger on its own with the spider sense abillity while peter was out of his body vs strange. thats how it was moving on its own
Green Goblin first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #14 in July of 1964, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Multiple people have held the mantle of Green Goblin, however the original and most famous was Norman Osborn, Billionaire industrialist and father of Peter's best friend Harry Osborn. He is most famous for the murder of Peter's longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stacey. In recent years, Osborn has also been an enemy of the Avengers under the guise of Iron Patriot.
The interaction among the three Spider-Men was a standout. Witnessing how their unique experiences influenced their perspectives on being Spider-Man was intriguing. Additionally, the repercussions of Peter's choices, especially the gravity of his decisions, brought a more mature dimension to the character. The action scenes were absolutely stunning. Coordinating the various Spider-Men fighting in unison was indeed a sight to behold. And who could overlook the epic battle at the Statue of Liberty - a moment that will be remembered for years. No Way Home expertly achieved a harmonious mix of grandeur and sentiment. The movie was a thrilling ride that resonated long after it ended. The conclusion, precisely, struck a flawless chord of melancholy and optimism, paving the way for upcoming escapades. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a fantastic movie that perfectly captures the essence of the character, highlighting the power of storytelling and the importance of balancing spectacle with genuine emotion.
In the comics, Ned is a villain called the Hobgoblin. Marvel had to change the release order due to COVID. In the original script, it wasn't Ned who opened the portals...
This film is amazing! With that said, I absolutely love the coffee mug Dr. Strange was holding when they first found him! :) For those who missed it, it said, "Oh For (picture of a fox) Sake!"
It's not just some random guy, it's a cool youth pastor 40:48 Otto finally got it... "The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand" and it's not disclosed if he takes it with him.
Green Goblin is definitely the ultimate Spider-Man villain. There was originally going to be a line where the other two Peters warned MCU Peter that Goblin is the most dangerous because he's not satisfied with killing you. He wants to break you first. This was what made the writers realize who should be the primary villain
I'm gonna say, May's an idiot. The bad guy is smart. The good guy is kind. That's why May is wrong. There's a right way to tackle this because some people is a lost cause and they're hard to cure and need a different and isolated treatment until it's safe to be in a crowds. That's why the good guy even if kind need to be smarter and one step ahead
Rosie! I love these two! It's incredible how we've reached this point. I was waiting for this one when you began the journey. While the movie itself was meant to be seen in theaters with a crowd (the way Andrew and Tobey arrived was shot for such a thing) but it's always nice to see reactions to them! As for Mr. October saying he hopes they don't continue with that story, well, they are! This was Holland's origin story essentially. That's why at the end he is in the traditional Spider-Man suit with no special technology and he has to pay for his own place etc. I'm so glad you enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to your continued journey :) Oh and yes indeed, having Doc Ock and Goblin come back was the best. The actors playing the two are so iconic. Remember, they're playing variants of those old villains. To them, they were snatched from their universe/timeline the moment they were about to die. Tobey's Spider-Man is from a universe/timeline that's fron the future (past Spider-Man 3) as is Andrew's. So for them, seeing those villains again is crazy because it has been a while for them. Just to touch up on how Electro is different, it is just the fact that he's in a diff universe that altered his appearance. Cheers!!
Seeing this in the movie theaters while I was on vacation was WILD. Could barely hear with everyone screaming and it was packed for days. Definitely the best movie experience I’ve ever had
Fuckkkk yea! Finally we are here. I remember starting y’all’s reactions around civil war. And now I’m so excited to finally be here. Spider-Man has always been my favorite hero since I was little. Hope y’all love this as much as we all did ❤❤
Quite literally. Lots of Spiderman and Batman villains seem to correspond to each other: Joker and Green Goblin Catwoman and Black Cat Clayface and Sandman Killer Croc and Lizard Penguin and Vulture (both birds) or Kingpin (both organized crime lords) Mad Hatter and Dr. Faustus Riddler and Mysterio Poison Ivy and Venom Zsasz and Carnage (maybe?) Mr. Freeze and Dr. Octopus (scientists who lost their wives and suffered a scientific accident that made them crazy) Any others?
The villains moved to this universe the moment they found out Peter Parker is Spiderman. Tobey Maguire in this movie is just as old as Willem Dafoe (Norman) was in the original Spiderman movie. Spiderman was able to move when he was in astral form because his Spider Senses were trying to avoid Strange.
They even used an animation of squiggly lines taken directly from the comics. I liked how they worked that in that we could see the sense working in the astral plane since we could see Peter's astral form at the moment.
Your explanation of why the villains were pulled from the moment of their deaths was really insightful, I hadn't heard anyone else come to that conclusion before
12:30 There was actually a comic arc called "Spider-Man: One More Day". In it, Aunt May is hit by a stray bullet (meant for Peter) when he dodges it. So he goes to Dr. Strange for help. While Strange is casting the spell, Peter hijacks the spell (which he is able to do because Peter knows Latin), and ultimately it makes things worse until Peter has to make a deal with Mephisto to fix everything. 12:45 As a recent college graduate when this movie came out, I REALLY felt that from Dr. Strange. Like... even in Peter's case, it literally would be that easy. Also... let's not forget that schools all over have pictures of people like Howard Stark and Bruce Banner (the latter of which would definitely be considered a "vigilante" in the same way as Peter, so...). 14:40 So... as the movie explains shortly, the other villains were able to enter this reality as a result of Strange's spell. The spell intended to erase the information "Spider-Man is Peter Parker", but due to Peter's interference, flipped and targeted everyone in all realities who *knew* that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, allowing them to enter through that rift created by the fractured spell. This is also how the Earth-96283 (Tobey Maguire) and Earth-120703 (Andrew Garfield) Peter Parkers got in (because as Spider-Man themselves, they know that "Spider-Man is Peter Parker"). BTW, the MCU is Earth-199999 (confusing, since multiple characters now have referred to the MCU in-universe as Earth-616, which is actually the primary comic book reality). Another, related note: Not every character exists/has a variant in every universe. For example, Earth-96283 and Earth-120703 don't have a Howard or Tony Stark or Reed Richards. So in those universes, Norman Osborn is the world's greatest mind. But Earth-199999 doesn't have a Norman Osborn, but does have Howard and Tony Stark, and a Reed Richards. 27:50 Close. They were transported at the moment they learned Spider-Man is Peter Parker. And the scenario you proposed is close, but wrong. It's the same deal as when the Infinity Stones were taken from the past. The branch timeline created by their removal would cease to exist unless they were returned. And they were returned. So it's fine. 29:26 An explanation: So... previously, the "Spider Sense" was nothing more than just basic immediate foresight/precognition. But it's actually more than that. It's actually a *cosmic* level deal. Basically, there exists this thing called the "Web of Fate" (essentially a "web" of possible futures, how every choice creates a new future, and every subsequent choice creates exponentially more possible futures). Basically, it's kind of like when Strange looked into every possible future to defeat Thanos, but only looks into the immediate future and automatically makes Peter act accordingly. 34:25 If you listen VERY carefully here, there's actually an audible cue of Green Goblin's laugh, which indicates to Peter who the threat was. Also, there's ALWAYS been a visual cue as to who is in control. His teeth. Norman's teeth are totally perfect. But when "Green Goblin" is in control, his teeth are crooked and jagged. 38:57 It happened off-screen this time, but this Peter still lost his Uncle Ben. And of course, his parents were gone way before, too. Peter's parents are Richard and Mary Parker. Richard was a soldier in the US Army before joining the CIA, where he became connected with Nick Fury. Soon after Peter was born, he was found and targeted by Kang the Conqueror (who sought to kill the Avengers before they could be created), but was thwarted. Later, during a mission against Red Skull and Hydra, Richard and Mary Parker would be killed in a plane crash (sabotage). It would also be revealed that Richard and Mary had a second child in secret, a daughter they named Teresa Parker. However, no live-action version of Spider-Man has yet attempted to incorporate these parts of his background. 39:30 Yes, Ned did it. But not just anyone can use a Sling Ring. The user has to be capable of using magic to use it. 42:50 There was a bit here you missed, and likely didn't catch. While placing the stuff on the tables, our Peter (Tom Holland) slams the cure device for Norman onto the table while the other parts were laid down gently. Tobey Maguire's Peter catches onto that instant, seeing that our Peter is vengeful towards Norman. 44:17 Sometime before this movie hit theaters, a tiny snippet of behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of this scene leaked, revealing Andrew Garfield's involvement (coincidentally soon after an interview where he completely denied being a part of the movie). 44:54 "I'd rather not talk about this" (Actually, Marvel just realizing the Pandora's Box they would open for some not-so-SFW art and fan-fiction if they did explain it too much). 46:19 Notice that for just a split-second, you can see the star-shaped lightning "mask" in front of his face that his comic book version has. 48:45 Notice that when Maguire's Spider-Man gets zapped, his suit smokes a bit, but Garfield and Holland's suits are not. That's because their Spider Suits have already had reason to be upgraded to resist electrical enemies (Garfield's being Electro, and Holland's via a lesson Tony learned from facing Thor in Avengers 2012). 50:12 Recall that Aaron Davis was seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Aaron Davis is the uncle of Miles Morales, who becomes Spider-Man after Peter Parker's disappearance in most versions. 51:10 I'd say Mysterio is the biggest villain in Spider-Man's rogues gallery. He's not terribly strong, but he's dangerously smart. He's the one that tricked Logan/Wolverine into killing all the X-Men, leading to the events of the "Old Man Logan" storyline. 52:30 Believe it or not, Peter is STILL pulling his punches here (even if he is hitting way harder than usual). If Peter were to throw a punch with his TRUE strength, he would LIQUIFY Norman in one hit. 53:16 That figure holding the spear is Kraven the Hunter. And I'm 99% certain it's actually the new Aaron Taylor-Johnson version. There were countless other Spider-Man villains among the figures, but they were too hard to see.
100% agree with MJ, Doctors Strange making a spell that can actually break reality available to a literal child (no matter how many backflips he can do), without even asking any follow-up questions about the situation, was an act of supreme negligence. No wonder he isn't the Sorcerer Supreme in this reality.
Seriously. Esp considering that he Was sorcerer supreme for quite a few years. The Comics Strange (616) would have Never but he's also top tier and has like...1.5 decades (in universe) being the sorcerer supreme
The writer/director of these three MCU Spider-Man films has said he considers all three films together to be Spider-Man's origin story. Disney and Sony are already in the works on a new Spider-Man trilogy that should come out sometime during or right after Phase Six of the MCU.
Ah thanks for this video 😄 So many emotions in the theatres! Toby was my first favourite Spiderman back in the day. And Dafoe is pure gold! This movie will give all spidey fans Goosebumps ❤

This movie was an incredible experience in the theaters. I got to watch it with my friends right before life got too busy. I will always love this film.
Excited to finally watch your reaction! Tobey's my Spidey but I love all three for their own reasons. Sidenote ..I love the Talking Heads music they used in the first few minutes.
I'm looking forward to the next trilogy being focused on Spider-Man without cameos from other heroes. Just a focused trilogy. Looking forward to it being more along the lines of Insomniac's Spider-Man and brings in Miles Morales as a secondary character who gets his powers around the second movie. And you all are thinking too deep about how the characters look and were acting. It's really not that deep.
What's funny about the Back Cracking part is the fact that Spider man is strong that no normal person could crack it. So only spiderman can actually crack it.
Technically gravity and his own weight are cracking his back, that's how that method works. Anybody strong and tall enough to lift a human male is strong enough to crack his back with that method.
@@JakkFrost1 But Spiderman doesn't have the Physiology or Bone density of a Human though. So that doesn't make sense according to spidermans abilities. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

My biggest problem is that everyone forgot who peter parker was, what about MJ, Ned, Dr Strange, Happy they have memories or being around Spiderman and thetrs memories where he takes his mask off with them how does that work out? Do they have memory up until his mask comes out then thy blank on that and can remember when he puts the mask back on. MJ gonna remember swinging with Spiderman and that she was dating him just not know that he's Peter so she gonna wonder why her boyfriend Spiderman is ghosting her? Just erasing him as a person can mess shit up. Because they would still have Spiderman memories, Peter tells Happy he knew Aunt May through Spiderman and he said him too. So that confirms thy remember Spiderman, now there's fractured half memories
Actually when Ned asks Peter if he has a best friend like him, and Tobey says He did, until he died in my arms after trying to kill me." thats actually a easter egg/gag cause in the comics Ned becomes (and still is) a villain and spider mans enemy too
You know I've seen this movie a few times and it wasn't until you stated that it wasn't until they met their fate that that was probably the reason why they were pulled into his universe. I always wondered why they were chosen if they died In the other Spider-Man films. You broke that damn perfect man. It's always good seeing the Octobers stay happy stay healthy and stay blessed.
I think that what I've liked about Tom Holland as Spider-Man is that... of all of them, he feels the most like a teenager. That's not knocking the other two, but I just didn't get "High Schooler" from Toby or Andrew. But it's all a matter of personal taste at the end of the day XD Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It depends on the era of the character. In the early part of the series it’s Green Goblin. In recent years it’s Venom. But most of the ones in this movie were often used a lot minus The Hobgoblin and The Jackal.

I am glad you guys didnt skip the other Spiderman movies that came before Tom Holland Spidey.
There were fans who complained that MCU Spider-Man was Iron Man Jr. But at the end of this trilogy, Peter is Spider-Man from the comics. This was basically a 3 part origin story.
The excuse they used to open the dimensions was dumb. The Spiderverse movies handled that better
This is what I came to say. This was his origin trilogy to become the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man we know.

Three generations of Spider-Man In one movie. It was everything to me.
47:26 It was Andrew that wants every Peter to be in it. Even willing to use his own paycheck to make sure Toby and Tom are together in the movie.
It's also possible Wakanda's energy systems were already being spread around the world as part of their efforts to share knowledge and technology after Black Panther.
his body was reacting and avoiding danger on its own with the spider sense abillity while peter was out of his body vs strange. thats how it was moving on its own
That moment when Goblin takes over Norman and shit goes down that was such an intense, suspenseful moment when watching it in the theatre.
Finally y’all been edging me with this reaction for way to long 😂🔥
Green Goblin first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #14 in July of 1964, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
I love No Way Home because I got to see the OG Spider-Man Tobey again since I grew up watching his Spider-Man movies
I loved every second of this movie, the nostalgia, seeing the 3 Spiderman swing together, was so amazing
For those who missed it, it said, "Oh For (picture of a fox) Sake!"
It's not just some random guy, it's a cool youth pastor 40:48
Otto finally got it...
I'm so glad you enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to your continued journey :)
Oh and yes indeed, having Doc Ock and Goblin come back was the best.
Hope y’all love this as much as we all did ❤❤
Green Goblin is definitely The main villain of Spider-Man same like Batman and Joker
Quite literally. Lots of Spiderman and Batman villains seem to correspond to each other:
Joker and Green Goblin
Catwoman and Black Cat
Clayface and Sandman
Killer Croc and Lizard
Penguin and Vulture (both birds) or Kingpin (both organized crime lords)
Mad Hatter and Dr. Faustus
Riddler and Mysterio
Poison Ivy and Venom
Zsasz and Carnage (maybe?)
Mr. Freeze and Dr. Octopus (scientists who lost their wives and suffered a scientific accident that made them crazy)
Any others?
I'm really happy you guys stuck to watching everything first
The villains moved to this universe the moment they found out Peter Parker is Spiderman.
He was able to keep it away from strange when he was in astro form was because his spider senses took over.
Peter Parker’s fatal flaw is he’s just too nice. He’s willing to help literally anyone doesn’t matter if they are bad or not.
FINALLY , this is spider verse we are ready next!
Ultimate Spider man villain is Morlun
"Norman's on sabbatical honey!" Dafoe gave me chills with that line, he's such a good villian! I NEED another movie with him as Green Goblin!
It was beautiful 🤩 to see all the Spider-Man characters together

100% agree with MJ, Doctors Strange making a spell that can actually break reality available to a literal child (no matter how many backflips he can do), without even asking any follow-up questions about the situation, was an act of supreme negligence. No wonder he isn't the Sorcerer Supreme in this reality.
Seriously. Esp considering that he Was sorcerer supreme for quite a few years.
The Comics Strange (616) would have Never but he's also top tier and has like...1.5 decades (in universe) being the sorcerer supreme
yeah we see it in almost every movie he’s in but strange is still pretty egotistical and overconfident that he can fix every problem people have
Chucky and green goblin.....the 2 most iconic, disturbing, and haunting laughs from my childhood for sure!!!
The ultimate Spider-Man villain is the writer 😂.
The writer/director of these three MCU Spider-Man films has said he considers all three films together to be Spider-Man's origin story. Disney and Sony are already in the works on a new Spider-Man trilogy that should come out sometime during or right after Phase Six of the MCU.
26:41 As a kid, I always thought if these 2 were to interact with each other with action figures 😅

Once you become Spiderman nobody else is strong enough to Crack your back.
@@darnelljones8188 well, dunno what to tell you, the method Andrew used has no strength component to it other than the simple strength to lift Tobey off the ground.
@@JakkFrost1 you still have to be able to squeeze hard enough. Because of his super strength. But if you say so. 🤷🏿♂️
@@darnelljones8188 there's no squeezing involved at all. The "patient" crosses their arms, placing each hand on their opposite shoulder, and the helper lifts them by the elbows, then bounces them up and down in the air a few times til the back cracks from the weight of the lower body pulling on the spine. I've had my own back cracked that way a few times in my life.
55:09 So if no one remembers Peter Parker, where did M.J. get the Black Dahlia necklace from? She's still wearing here in the donut shop.
And what happens to the book that Flash published? If the spell erases every trace of Peter Parker's existence ID, birth certificate, school records, medical records, Mysterio's video, JJJ's newscasts, the legal records, Flash's book - everything else, then yeah, the black dahlia necklace shouldn't be there, and it shouldn't be broken.

Where's Hawkeye reaction 😢?
I think they posted it but then deleted it? I don't remember exactly which one, but there was a MCU reaction on this channel where they had a bunch of weird takes and got a lot of backlash in the comments, and ended up just deleting the reaction. If Hawkeye's all that's missing, then I guess it was Hawkeye.
Wait, now that I think about it, I think I'm thinking of Falcon & The Winter Soldier. Maybe after that experience they stopped posting MCU TV reactions.
Not reacting to Dafoe re-enacting the meme is a crime
1:11 not AI, just clipping out of context. Peter was telling EDITH to execute all the drones.
Great reactions!!
Actually when Ned asks Peter if he has a best friend like him, and Tobey says He did, until he died in my arms after trying to kill me." thats actually a easter egg/gag cause in the comics Ned becomes (and still is) a villain and spider mans enemy too
What happened to thr Spiderverse reaction
Whhhewww boy we finally here!!
Goblin is definitely the best Spider-Man villian.
1:11 “ai right? … absolutely” no… it’s a cut version of what spider-man actually said lmao

Daredevil's first time in the MCU
It depends on the era of the character. In the early part of the series it’s Green Goblin. In recent years it’s Venom. But most of the ones in this movie were often used a lot minus The Hobgoblin and The Jackal.
