- I've been resisting the temptation to listen to this song until a proper video came out from Angelina's camp. It didn't disappoint! Loved it. What a fabulous song and performance. Deserves to be played everywhere over the summer!

The only thing better than listening to Angelina is watching her sing while listening. It's probably good that you waited to react to this song until she did the live video. This song is just so "Angelina". The jazzy vibe, the positive message. It's just perfect for her. ...and just like you said, she is able to pull you in even more with the way she glances at the camera from time to time, and the way you can see her falling back into the song in between those glances. It is always better when you can see her sing it.

I am a numbers guy. Earlier today I clicked on a Angelina reaction video which had 1,111 views and now I click on this one with 111 views. Only proper since Angelina is #1 in so many ways. We are hearing 21st Century Jazz composed by a true musical artist, and I love it.

I agree, this definitely has an "Angelina" feel to it, and I love the jazzy, upbeat style. As others have mentioned, she also released a cover of Adele's "All I Ask" recently, which is just brilliant, so I hope you can react to that as well.
This song is much more marketable than her last song. I would like to hear this on the radio. While Angelina has a strong fan base is growing slowly (one reactor at a time), I am not sure that Angelina's songs are making it out the the general public. I am hoping that Republic Records is trying to change that.
She has all the time, and personally I prefer a perfect song rather than many so, so ok
Producers are exactly who do that piece, David Sylva .. get the artist out in the flow of the music business - including the radio and interviews etc.. Angelina's family very consciously did not sign her with anyone until very recently, when they felt she would be able to handle all the hoopla with class and humility.
My big problem is I live in the mountains in central California and I only pick up one radio station. Talk radio. I go to town every two weeks or so and most of the drive no phone signal no Internet signal.
No cable where I live, no Internet. My iPhone… That’s it. I don’t sit in my car in town...I get my business done and back home. Not even a mailbox out here. I have thousands of VHS and DVD movies. After discovering Angelina almost 3 years ago, I have watched perhaps three dozen movies? Guess who my entertainment is? Lol 🌺

I know, talk about the Boon docks. The closest town = food or gas, is 25 miles away. So thank goodness I don’t have television to see fast food commercials. I feed wild turkeys by hand, and the deer. A couple years back I had a red fox that on occasion would take food from my hand. I had to stop that when I caught it chasing the barn cats. Andrea is my entertainment and she strokes my soul. I only joined TH-cam and Facebook because of her. Of course I know you understand.
I caretake 110 acres with the owners about 300 miles away.

The three songs Angelina has released with her new record company all have the same look and vibe. Vintage feel, with Angelina, a mic, muted, smoky lighting, and real music behind her. Just simple, but classy and sophisticated-it makes you remember what real music sounded like. Major kudos to the people behind the vibe of these videos. And you were right to wait for this. Her voice brings authenticity to anything she sings, but watching her adds that personal connection every listener feels with Angelina.
That's the comment that clarifies my feelings. Seeing her sing the song and that sense of a personal connection adds a profound appreciation for the composition.

@Peter Hormell: Angelina took me by storm about three years ago, and I can’t remember a day when I haven’t listened to her since.
I find it hard to believe that I just discovered her audition for Norway got talent a few days ago, especially since Blues, R&B, Jazz, Blues Rock are my thing, emphasis on the Blues. I was blown away. Then after watching some subsequent videos with Guitar backing I was so hopeful there would be more with piano, violin, cello, horns, sax as backing, although the songs with guitar were fabulously beautiful. Glad to see what she is doing now. The way she sings the blues... fabulous, phenomenal. I love you more than you will ever know, would be an absolutely wonderful cover for her.

Just WOW!! All I've got.
I was a bit sceptic to the production of her previous new songs, but here she is back in her proper surroundings with a subdued band/backingvocals bringing her wonderfull voice in front. Looking forward to new songs where I hope she will use her very own perception of how her music shall sound and not be drawn/pressed in comercial popdirection.
Any rendition performed by Angelina Jordan is a masterpiece, because the way she transform music to beautiful melody full of harmony, plus the softness of her tone voice, and at the same time adding the strength of her vocals in the right moment; plus her vocal fry, runs, colors, tenderness....Yes and putting all this together in the right place (and you bet she knows very well how to do it) she obtains an art piece like no one else .That is what it makes her unique, and because of this ,Angelina and Only Angelina can beat Angelina.

She’s hitting her stride.
Her family has supported her but she is and always has been self directed. She has had many offers but declined until she felt ready. She says Republic understands where she is heading and what her music goals are and that is why she chose them.
Angelina did write this song.
She is learning stage presence very well. Angelina already had everything else sorted.

You have more patience than I. I wouldn't be able to wait for my preferred format. The official audio and the lyric video have been playing time after time since they came out. Now, though, it will be difficult to move away from this beautiful video. The song, the presentation, the ambience, the beautiful Angelina. Live life with hope. She has distilled all the characteristics from those greats and saved the ones she feels comfortable with. She pulls from them depending on the song. Every song has it's own sound and feel and as she does the arrangement is always open to her touch.

I wasn't sure at first: does that song is Angelina's best song among her 135 covers (or so) and her 5 originals?
Of course, when there is passion for works of art, the last will always be seen to be the first, when views in the superfan's eyes of the heart.
But now, after watching that performance almost one hundred times, I can definitely say that, for me, all things considered, 7th Heaven is Angelina's best song.
Angelina is seemingly at the peak of her ascent to mount Everest, even though there are many other mountain tops to conquer for the accomplished young vocal artist.
What can I say, nothing that does Angelina's spectacular performance justice. The same lyric, the same music as in the audio video and yet a new amazing version of Angelina's 7th heaven. I think this was just released. I've heard all three versions now (audio, lyric, and live), and for me, this is by far the best. Just seeing her snapping her fingers and clapping was fantastic! And I love the whole setup. And yes Lukas, she composed the lyrics and music, with some assistance, for this Terrific song. With this song and "Million Miles", which she also composed, we have a sample of the terrific songwriter she is. And there seems to be a bright future for her in this area. However, I believe her strength is still in her remarkable ability to take someone else's song and recreate it; often into something better. She recently released her latest performance, "All I Ask". We all knew from seeing her at a young age that she had an insane singing raw talent! We could only expect her to get better every next song. And we were charmed by her cute disarming and humble (small) appearence! But now, even still humble, she develops such an impressive personality. Indeed, one glance in the camera and you want to return that sweet smile! So wonderful to see her grow up and becoming a brilliant, classy singer!

Last week Angelina dropped a new cover video of All I Ask an Adele song. That would be a great reaction video, she sings it like she lived it and wrote the song.
