  • It's time for some Fall Honey!
Today we went into our Apple Blossom, Forestry, and Welcome hives and extracted a few frames to pull some Honey! We used a beautiful stainless steel Italian Honey Press and we have to say it is a perfect design for extracting Honey while preserving the flavors and increasing the pollen count.
You can find this Honey Press at "www.HorizontalHive.com". Thank you Dr. Sharashkin!

I cant wait to see your hives increase. I found dr. Leo about the same time you started up. You are encouraging me greatly.

ohhhhhhhhh cut comb honey is sooooooo good plus brings a higher price in retail. the old timers in jackson county distrusted honey sold in jars unless they knew the source.

Firstly I'd like to say that I enjoy your content. While I myself am a natural beekeeper and have followed Dr. Leos work and read his translations, I would just offer this small piece of advice. Find your own way as a bee keeper. Leo may be a great starting point but he is no means the end all and you often quote him like scripture (I really dont mean this to be offensive and maybe your style is his teaches im not trying to judge so I apologize if it seems like I am.)

Wow what beautiful clear honey!! What flowers ect do your bees feed on - my honey is always a dark colour because of all the gum trees ect that we have here in Tasmanian- love the videos keep up the good work 👍

You should take those end honey frames. On a Layens hive the bees don't move through the hive eating the honey. They will consume the honey at the top of the brood frame they are on.
