This chef is actually being fast while cooking more than just zucchini, mushrooms, onions, and egg fried rice! He's actually doing tricks during cooking! He's fast not because he's doing tricks! He's fast because he has actual food to cook and still manage to do tricks while cooking! He's cooking all kinds of protein instead of the American rip off of just veg and fried rice. LOL
Paul Dallas Looks good! I've been to more than a few teppanyaki restaurants but they've never served that, but it seems like a perfect combo with the garlic butter they use.
If a person is allergic to shell-fish, then it would be pretty impossible to dine at Teppanyaki correct? Thanks. No, it would not be impossible, it would be easy. Just tell them about your allergy and they will probably cook your food first, so there is no cross contamination
what if you order rare or medium rare he put it on the cold spot of the grille not enough heat on those spot of the grille. the top and side of the grille is not hot.i know i use to cook at benihana long time ago.
@@epik12343 - LOL! If they let you cook at Benihana then that's reason enough to never go there. You don't know how to cook. No one - who knows what they're doing - ever puts a rare steak on a cool grill. All you're going to get is a piece of gray meat with no sear.
@@epik12343 - Go ahead and try it. Heat a pan to 160°F (that's not even hot enough for tea or coffee). Try and cook a steak. It's going to be a joke. You won't even get a sizzle. LOL Note to self… never go to Benihana. They hire knuckleheads.
@@danielt6689before you say i dont know how to cook you need to learn how the teppanyaki grille works its not your typical western style of cooking steak theres lot of stuff being cook not only steak let me see you cook on a teppanyaki grille see how you do. you dont know how to cook on a teppanyaki you dont know how the teppanyaki grille work the top and side of the grille is not hot its warm temperature you can put your hand on it only the middle part is very hot i saw what he did he put the steak on the cold area of the grille. i only put the steak on that cold spot on top after i seared the steak both side on the hottest area of the grille and i let it sit for 1 min. and if i cook rare steak i seared it 1 min both sides it depends on the thickness of the steak after i cut its still red inside then right away i give it to the customer.

I forgot to say. That is one sharp knife.

The flare always annoys me, I just love watching my food being made.
What restaurant is this at in Okinawa?
I can't remember the name..I will try to find out. It is the only Japanese restaurant on the Kadena Air Force Base.
Paul Dallas Very impressive show!
@@bhgpaul67 - That makes sense. It looked more American than Japanese teppanyaki
Looks like a good portion of food.
It was years ago, but still remember being stuffed!
Is that bread at the beginning?
