This looks so much more enjoyable thn the usual Japanese tepanyaki restaurants. Strong bbq with friends vibe, while the chef still keeps some distance. Amazing
Just about to die from boredom over here, thanks for saving me!!! tried to watch a few things but nothing excited me, then I saw this and knew it would hold my interest :)
I wish we had these places in Chicago. So calming & peaceful & vibey. Just the right amount of food, nothing wasted. Completely worth the price too. Fresh made right in front of you, full service. 🔥💥❤️🥃
Bit different cooking style from your other vid visits........loved how this chef put a nice "char" on one side of the steak and instead of cutting and cooking as cubes, left for you to cut and enjoy! As always, thanks for the experience. 👍
You are a good observer! This chef intentionally burns one side of the beef to a high char on purpose.I believe this technique maximizes the fat of fine Wagyu beef and brings out its umami flavor.
I like the calculated hotel style teppanyaki, but the wild style of this restaurant is also very good! The chef's style is also different from that of most Japanese chefs!
Hey. I really enjoy your work! I love watching steaks being cooked by clearly very skilled chefs. Plus there is an ASMR aspect to it for me which brings me to my question: do you perform post editing/processing with the sound? I notice that whenever there is a loud sound, the level dips and slowly returns. I’m an audio engineer (amongst other things…lots of work on my channel) and I have a good idea what is happening. I can smooth this out for you. I’d love to talk about it.
I wonder what Aden says to these chefs before filming. Chef it up, be natural, do whatever you normally do, do whatever you feel like? I wonder are they trying harder, or doing things the same way they always do? The answer doesn't really matter, but it would be interesting to know. I just wish I had a place like this near me.
205 grams Wagyu beef which I can purchase for about $11 USD in Tokushima, where I own a home. I don’t know what it cost in tourist overrun Kyoto (I’m there a lot) but probably quite a bit.
Alot more. Can I interest you in doubling your money and shipping me some? Looks delicious and I got a ton of American BBQ ideas for it. I always wanted to butcher a wagyu in western ways. I know it's not all a5 super deluxe stuff but that's ok even the other stuff looks amazing.
@ honestly the steaks I used to bbq from Costco turn out to be much more to my liking. I also have the ability to bbq over charcoal or to do on a flat iron surface, many people here cannot do bbq as they live in condominiums. I prefer charcoal! My dance card is quite full these days and I am not looking for a side hustle, thank you though.
l watched a lot of these wago meal's , never have l seen the way this man cooked , one side only then other just 3 second's . Must be a long history to only a few top Japan men ! As l have never had Tokushlma beef . But l wanted to know how very very rich people live . They are very lucky people in this screwed up world !
Compared to the posh restaurants I normally see in these videos. This place is like the Rusty Spitoon where bugs bunny and Yosemite Sam duel it out at haha
Bit of a different video than I’ve see before on teppanyaki. I’m sure it all tasted great, But the chef seemed like he didn’t want to be there/care too much
At least he didn't charge you for the fat he cut it off then weighed it Wagu the fatty meat that cost more it's like fatty meat is more healthy or something lol.
This Chef is embodying a lot of Japanese counterculture in his aesthetic. Kinda refreshing in a teppanyaki setting
Kill Bill: Teppanyaki Edition
Qu’est-ce ça a l’air bon 😋😋😋😊
funny comment coming from a stereotype 😁

That looks so very good. The ambiance and the low-key style of the chef are relevant to my interests as well.
I mean no annoyingly loud people laughing over dad jokes so that's a plus
Beautiful challenger mate
@@fran8334 Thank you so much!

Nothing quite as cathartic as watching one of your Japanese restaurant videos
プロの仕事と言うより、週末にワイルドなパパが作ってる感じ。
I love these videos. So relaxing and ASMR-esque whilst showcasing the chefs' phenomenal skills.
That one-sided steak technique is fascinating. Love the more relaxed atmosphere.

In chicago lmaooo 😂
In Chicago... With blacks everywhere the place would probably get sacked day one.
Do you have a waffle House? Same thing
We need more class food and less trash food (aka more Teppanyaki houses and less McDonalds)
@@SlytherSnake not really that different.

"dry aged 30 days" Oh, you know this is going to be good 😋

That looked great. I would love to go there one day. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful video. The noodle dish looked fantastic. I love the end how it said that he kicked in the one beer with the price. ❤

Great BBQ, professional cooking
Beautiful video @Aden Films.
There's a certain amount of disdain this chef has for his process. He's to Teppanyaki what Dr. House is to medicine.
Just amazing how the Chef prepares the Steak
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Wonderful food tour video and Wagyu looks delicious 👌👌
Beautiful.
What is that he spays on top of the food while cooking
Wow!!! That was great....👍👍👍👍👍
There is a good Biker Bar Wagu house. I like that one. A nice sear on the Wagu.
A lovely meal in a tranquil setting. Very nice. 😊
I like your style cheff 👍👍👍

88euro for the whole meal minus the beer, 14000 yen, pretty good price imo.
@@andyderp6473 Agree.

Only problem is the torching of the steak, way way too close needs to be farther away so you dont get that butane taste,it makes all the difference
That sear of the steak was quite asymmetrical. Error or on purpose?
That's what I noticed too. I think it's intentional
Veo muy lejano poder hacer eso, te admire desde hace algunos años atrás, felicidades por ese estilo de vida
IS THIS GUY FOR REAL. UNHAPPY COOK NOT A CHEF.

What a great deal - $100 for that. Amazing japan
If only people cared for quality over quantity, what an utopia we would live in
looks amazing.. what "about" temp is the griddle throughout the cook?
I would guess about 325 F; not super hot, clearly.
@theodore6548 i just bought a Vevro electric griddle. It works great
최민식형님이 요리해주는 와규 맛있어보이네..

I wish these videos were shot in 4k. The picture quality is pretty bad.
hello, what camera, lens and microphone do you use?
Yakuza mission
Excellent.
Must try this when I go to Japan. Absolutely !! 🤌
Brazil....✌🏽🇯🇵
Anyone know the reasoning behind cooking the steak all the way on one side?
Will I be billed for watching this video?
Asking for a friend, actually.
This is why I always bring along a large hammer when i go to restaurants
Stem glad nie spam met jou nie Chicago...🤪😝
What grade wagyu? NGL... looked a bit tough. Last I had was AUS Grade 4 and you could cut with your fork.
I just notice you sound like the camera man for diaryofmastersushi hiro
Weres the rest of the beer 🍺
Delicious

This place is the definition of a tourist trap 😂
Aden my man !
14:10 | That seems like an absurd amount of salt
👍🏽Now you know what the beer was for.😉
This is no longer rare or exclusive... nowadays you can find this in every country in the world 😂😂
You won’t get a steak + meal that good in Dallas for $100.
Philippines 🇵🇭
Steak looks a bit over done , I like mine moving a bit !!
Приветствую! Как будто у друга в гостях, а друг большой специалист.
Chef looks like, you better enjoy or else.
Ese señor se parece al profe 440 N. Casas
When he took that big piece of wagyu fat away I though... no. Then he pressed it on the grill and set it aside.
❤killing me Larry🎉
I think you've been serviced by the bodyguard or the accounrant maybe
Looks like either the beef was tough or the knife was dull…LOL…
👍
Salt looked a bit chunky

you don't do noodles with the spatulas! you broke them all! By the way, I would have eaten the big piece of fat as well!
IMHO the meat is overcooked in one side
