    They're good value, that's for sure.
    Personally. I think the 1.4 boosterjet pre hybrid was better.

      Why do you think its better. In which way? Im really curious to know.

      @@StayReal02 well, it's more powerful for one thing. It's also lighter. Cheaper. It's more free-revving and pleasant to drive. I've driven both a lot.

    Thanx 4 ur review! It has helped me make an informed decision having compared other similar reviews. Sadly, I have to wait around 6 months for my one even though they’re made in Hungary and I live next door in Slovakia 100km away from the plant. I have a Genesis GV70, but that is in a different league altogether. But, the Suzuki is worth the €30K as a second car for my family.

    Hello Shazhad! My compliments for your great review of the 2023 Suzuki S Cross. I really like this version full hybrid with manual gearbox. It is nice that it can bd switch to automatic for a more relaxing drive. Great control also on the offroad test. This Suzuki is amazing in every condition. Really nice and comfortable family Suv. Happy sunday dear Shazhad 😃👍. Bye

    Love it, does exactly what it says on the tin.

    It looks good. I drove a car many years ago with automated manual (Vauxhall Corsa hire car) and thought the gearbox was rubbish. Very jerky. What's the gear change like in this. Is it smooth?

    • @BrownCarGuy
      @BrownCarGuy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      At normal speeds very smooth yes

    Nice review, but that car has so much noise it's not really for me.

    Great review as always. Thank you for the videos. One follow up question: Can a full hybrid run on electric motor only?

    • @BrownCarGuy
      @BrownCarGuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they do for a short range. It varies from model to model, but if the battery is charged they'll use that up to a certain speed or distance.

      @@BrownCarGuy Thank you for the reply. For the 2023 S Cross, how far(or fast) it can run on electric only?

    How was the Ags gearbox, would you recommend it? How was it at roundabouts?

    • @BrownCarGuy

      No issues that I can recall. It's been a while since I drove it.

    Hi Shahzad. Looking for an upgrade. Thinking of getting a small SUV or medium SUV as a family car. Would you recommend this or an alternative? Currently leasing and will explore leasing options but the price of leasing has been going up *sigh*

    • @BrownCarGuy
      @BrownCarGuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a great car, well worth looking at. Try to take for a test drive if possible to make sure it's right for you. Plenty of alternatives in this segment though, just browse through my reviews. Good luck!

    Great review✌️👍💜😊
    What tyres does it come with - especially the one that you greenlaned?🤔🤔
    Our second generation SC is quite quiet inside, yours sounded echoey (or is that the recording/mic set up?)? 🤔🤔🤔
    Interesting to see that Suzuki isn't quite following the herd and I think that's a good thing (time will tell). Also good to hybrid and mild hybrid 4x4s. I read recently that reference Carbon Climate Change (CCC) out of 3500 plus academic papers none of them conclusively proved CCC existed. So if CCC is like the emperor's new clothes perhaps Suzuki's cautious approach is wise? Clearly we have climate change and pollution is an issue too (especially plastics in the environment, 75,000 unregistered chemicals, water companies discharging effluent etc), clean air in cities will be helpful for all (although the supply chain for lithium batteries which are rare earth materials is awful/dirty). It's a fine line we've yet to get to the truth of.
    But boy oh boy aren't all family cars expensive now on the whole, like sofa companies car manufactures seem more like finance houses these days.🤔😳😕
    I've read of 2016 1.4 Boosterjets covering 100k plus mileages without issue so perhaps the SC will be a good investment if purchased outright and kept?🤔🤞🤞

    • @BrownCarGuy
      @BrownCarGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Can't remember the tyres, but they'll be manufacturer supplied standard tyres. Mic probably echoey. There's no doubt in my mind that human activity has had an impact on the planet, but I object to the entirety of blame being laid on road transport! Cars will continue to be expensive for sometime I'm afraid, until supply and demand finally equalise. I think the Suzuki's a good choice though for sure. Thanks again and all the best!
