I simply got to a new galaxy by going through a portal on the Anomaly to a featured base build. Not the same, but now I can go from 2 different galaxies!
Yes but the game does not count that as far as competition of the milestone in your log. You will need to pass through the center of the Euclid Galaxie to clear it. Also make sure to have that exact mission tagged in your log before you enter the end or it also will not count.
Some tips: 1) Use two ships, "broken" and normal. 2) When you jump thru the center of a galaxy, use your freighter while your "broken" ship is you current ship. In the new galaxy, call down your normal ship and use that to warp to the next center. Then switch ships in your hanger, and go on to the next center jump with your freighter. Assuming you've archived all your exosuit tech and equipped a burner multitool, there is nothing to fix. You only need a single warp cell to fill your freighter for the next jump.
Appreciate the tip Paul…it’s a cool way around the issues with broken ships, I do admit to occasionally taking the easy way if I am struggling for materials . As a point I’ve done and achieved more on my second save which is 99% normal play…hindsight I guess 😎👍.
Wow I just learned there is more than one Galaxy this blows my mind, I thought one galaxy was super big... But then again i know very little of this game.. I always thought your goal was to get to the center of the main Galaxy and you beat the game..... Thanks for the video 🤯
Clear and concise! I have a slower method, but no tech damage, and I don't have to go through so many galaxies that I have no interest in. Every time I visit the Nexus, when I'm done with whatever I came there for, I head to the portal in the Nexus and select the "Space Anomaly" tab which lists all the players who are currently in the same Nexus as you and the system they entered the Nexus from which they have a base. The vast majority will be from Euclid. Fairly often Essentam (#10), but doing this over time you will find a player who has come from some random far off galaxy. Then you just click on their card in the panel and select go to, and you will port to their base system in that galaxy. Drop a base, and you now have access to that galaxy. My main save now has bases in 8 galaxies, almost all of them Lush galaxies. Also, if there is a specific galaxy you want to get to, there is a taxi service in Discord called "PanGalactic Star Cabs". There's plenty on the web about this service. I've used it once, and it was fantastic, and the nicest folks. The whole process took about 15 minutes, from the time I entered their Discord channel until I was in the galaxy I wanted to go to.
When i did my second jump from Hilbert to Calypso, this exact thing happend. Ship, tool and suit was destroyed but i was already only 5k LY from calypso center. Jumped trough that and it spawned me in fourth galaxy at normal range. 700k LY away.
The black hole glitch is really interesting. In my "main" game save I went from galaxy 42 (using a featured base) to galaxy 50 "Teyaypilny" which is lush and mostly unexplored. I did the following for each galaxy: 1. Call my Roamer (with all 3 scanner upgrades) 2. Scan for a monolith. 3. Solve monolith puzzle. Gek and Korvax system monoliths will give you the item you need to find a portal. In Vykeen systems, bring a Vykeen Dagger. 4. Activate portal and go to: bird sun sun bird / triangle tent sun sun / balloon triangle triangle whale (your glyph naming may vary!) 5. Emerge very near or at the galactic centre, typically 0 to 2 systems away. 6. Go to centre, fill hyperdrive, go to next galaxy Rinse and repeat. The black hole method sounds quite a bit quicker. I will have to try it.
I wish HG would implement an official fast way to travel to ANY galaxy. I made a suggestion on their zen desk. There's that huge ring like structure which can be found on some planets. It's currently useless decoration and just gives some lore. This could be used as a galaxy portal. Just enter two glyphs (representing the appropriate galaxy number) into the terminal and then fly with your ship through the ring. You would approach at a random star system in the target galaxy.
5:00 "once you see this warp animation and sound, you'll know for certain that the glitch worked for you" no I'm pretty sure that's just what the game does when you go to the next galaxy. I didn't do anything special, just warped all the way there with my freighter then used starship and it did the same thing once I was on a planet in the new galaxy.
Are you certain? I’ve hopped galaxies many times and never experienced this. Even watching videos of gamplay of people going to another galaxy normally I don’t see that warp thing. But if I am wrong that’s my bad
@@nolopada 2 nights it happened when I went to a new galaxy for the first time. maybe that's a glitch that happens sometimes instead? idk. I woke up on the planet, tried to move then it started warping again and I was like wtf?
Really cool glitch, I doubt I’ll try it though, I’m currently running two saves , one in Euclid and one in the hilbert galaxy, I have yet to witness any great difference in them. I don’t know if it’s 255 versions of the same thing or can expect different alien factions etc, if not then there sure is enough in the Euclid galaxy to keep me busy…My first play through was on release, and I made it to the center and lost interest as I no longer had goals…it’s a million times better these days, HG have done a great job in fixing and recovering from its disastrous launch..thanks for the video fellow travelers.👍
There's only 4 types of galaxies... Euclid and Hilbert are both Normal ones, so you won't notice a difference. The next one is Calypso... you'd notice a difference there because it's Harsh. Most of the planets will have extreme storms. There's also Empty and Lush galaxies... the difference with them is that they have a lot more airless and lush planets respectively.
I'm currently in Galaxy 19 which is lush, but seems to be a better version of Eissentam ( Galaxy 10). S class ships seem to have a higher probability of spawning in each system on initial spawn
@@TeddyLindsell it took several play sessions, but I essentially found a portal in each system, starting with Euclid, entered the first glyph (sunset?) as the entire portal code which puts you 5 - 7k light years from the center. I created a base close to the center of each galaxy so I'd always have a way to get back to each galaxy as needed/wanted, until I made it to 19. I also named the base computers after the respective galaxy to make travelling back easier when selecting them from a terminus later
It’s really incredible now. I find myself spending hours just managing resources and grinding materials, but having fun and feeling accomplices afterwards.
PORTAL ADDRESSES: I recently returned to NMS, so I din't know when it happened, BUT finding a portal is as easy as taking a photo anywhere even a space station. You only have to enter photo mode and in the bottom left corner of your screen will appear the portal address of the first planet (planet one) of the system. You can find the rest of the portals in the system, by copying the first portal address and changing the first glyph to the next one in line so usually the first glyph will be a bird (2) so for the next planet make it a (3) or the tiki mask. Continue for each planet you want to mark portals. I use this technique in each new system to quickly visit all the planets with no hassles from sentinel authorities as I usually have contraband cargo. No more hunting for monoliths and being sidetracked with stupid alien ruins. I convert all portal addresses to number format for easy storage and reference. In my spreadsheet which I use to record and track specifics of all the systems I visit, I used to place pictures of the glyphs in the portal address cell but it takes too much resources and can make MS Excel crash. I am in the process of abandoning Excel and transferring all data to MS Access as it will work better in the long term.
This is actually an awesome method! The help I provided were for those who haven't found a portal yet, as this method you mention requires having found at least one portal.
@@nolopada Yeah, so like me you probably have thousands of hours of playtime, 4K+ in my case so you remember the constant chase to find a Monolith and many alien ruins we had to sift through to find one. So while I can be sometimes, maybe even often critical of HG, I am very thankful for this new method. In fact every new system I visit I go by portal and mark them all with a beacon which for me is coded in yellow and blue.
It makes me wonder what happens if you go back to the previous Galaxy and warp back to the Core will it like create a very weird unknown scene or will it normal thing going to another galaxy?
I'd really like to move to Secolo IV but I want to visit all the galaxies through legit means. I have screenshotted the coords you posted on members only for when I get to Galaxy 250.
Nolo do you have any tips on finding more anomaly finders in the meteor fields? ever since 4.0 i have been having a hell of a time getting just one or two of them just blasting away for 10 or more minutes. I want lots of them because i need them to locate living ships for the fleet and i burn through those things really fast trying to find ships.
I don’t know of any faster way, maybe some star systems have slightly higher drop rates? Not sure… you can try keeping the boost button pressed and fire button (like taping down the button/key) and walking away like an AFK farm 😆
This still works as of now. Now how do I get rid of it? I’ve tried landing and reloading from the autosave on Ps5 but now all black holes are 3kish from galactic core and I’m at the galaxy I wanted to get to.

Great information. It gave me the push I needed trying to galaxy hopping. I spent almost a day and got up to Hitonskyer (17) and came to a dead end. When I finished the last couple warps to get to the center there is no vector presented to move to the center. I use a PS4 controller on a PC, so I use the right thumb stick to move it towards the center and usually after a pause of a couple seconds it shifts to the center and gives the warp button. No more. I tried jumping to another system and coming back, changed ships, restarted the game, used the last portal to change galaxies and the returned. Nothing works, can’t make the jump to Rerasmutul. I think it’s a bonafide bug. Is there a way to report them. Bummer.
In that case you can always try going around the center, some galaxies have dead ends on certain star paths to the center, you gotta keep looking. Once I had to travel about 5 regions of stars to the right of the path to find the actual center warp star
@@nolopada Thanks . I needed someone that had been there to confirm that it was still possible. Works in all modes ! It’s even easier in creative as all your tech either won’t break or can be repaired for free don’t remember which of the two as I don’t play a lot in creative
I like to play the game with some limits, at that point I would just not play because going into cheat mode defeats the purpose in a way that isn’t a challenge to me. But to each their own! I’m glad that is an option as well thank you for sharing it! 😁
@nolopada isn't it cheating to remove all your tech and use a cheap ship? Isn't providing glitches and coordinate info giving others a cheat code? A video isn't much different than a game guide book. Games are meant to be fun and different people experience that differently. I'd rather just build a base than farm 16 tons of sand and stone to make bricks. Thanks for the video. I might start galaxy hopping one day.
@@nolopada you like to play the game with certain limits... limits that you break, if you put all the tech in the inventory or go to creative from the menu and repair it, it's the same thing.
There are so many bugs and exploits in this game anyway, and the devs don't seem eager to fix any of them. Seems that their politic is that nobody should dictate how you play your game. Want tou exploit ? Go for it, you'll only spoil it for yourself anyway. Which makes sense in a non-competitive environement.

@@nolopada 🤣 🤣
Wait , you’re THE Legend 27? 💀💀💀
@@nolopada some say that other call me retarded :)
Anyone on xbox willing to give me a ride to galaxy 255 this seems to be patched
Is this for survival or creative as well
Works in all modes ! It’s even easier in creative as all your tech either won’t break or can be repaired for free don’t remember which of the two as I don’t play a lot in creative
Get to WHAT now???
Wow, people have burner ships and crap multitools?
I don’t know about people but me I buy and sell ships like crazy so I always have an un-upgraded ship in my hangar
You really dont even need to do this. set it to free and you can just tap it to repair it.
After while crocodile... Damn I'm old.. Anyway great tips here. Keep up the great content.
Has this been patched?
Last time I checked it’s still working
@@nolopada yeah upon further inspection I just missed some instructions. Thanks!
interesting! that's def a bug tho
It is but it’s helped me get far and hopefully will help others who are strapped on time 😅
There are so many bugs and exploits in this game anyway, and the devs don't seem eager to fix any of them.
Seems that their politic is that nobody should dictate how you play your game. Want tou exploit ? Go for it, you'll only spoil it for yourself anyway. Which makes sense in a non-competitive environement.
I’m on galaxy 30 :)
I've watched 7 videos and still can't do it. Y'all gloss over every important detail like everyone already knows what y'all are talking about. If I knew, I wouldn't be here. Sorry bro 7th thumbs down.
This is for advanced users is a specific glitch for the fastest travel. Not the regular way to travel galaxies. For that you just go to the center and warp lmao
@@nolopada luckily I messed around enough and figured it out. Not the glitch, just how to galaxy swap.
I’m glad! Sorry for the confusion brother
