Okay, I've owned the game since launch, and I had no idea before today that there was more than one galaxy in the game... The game continues to impress me
One of the biggest criticisms of the game was that getting to the centre of the Galaxy was not an "ending" as you're just teleported to another one. I'm surprised you didn't hear about it
Use one of those living ship to make the jump. They don't need repairs when arriving at the new galaxy. Love how you use the game to make those hilarious episodes. Can't wait for may force day. Keep it going.
Alternatively, if you don't have the patience to grow a Living Ship, and don't plan on having a lot of tech on one regular ship: max out the tech storage and cram all of it in there. Including pulse engine, launch thrusters, (maybe) shielding, and hyperdrive.
Just come across this video after kicking off a new NMS adventure after a few years away from the game. Can I just say, this is one of the best TH-cam gaming videos I’ve watched in a long long time. So well constructed and super informative! Fantastic work 👌🏻
The number 256 is based on binary.. It's an even break, 257 would push the bits into the next set. Thars why some older games had a currency cap, for example, of 65535.. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768, 65536, etc...
That's why the N64, the Nintendo console, was named like that... because it was the first 64 bit console. Before that everything was either 16 bit or 32 bit... like the NES, SNES, Sega Megadrive and Master system!
FWIW, you most definitely can farm Frigate Modules from Pirate systems. I've actually had better luck with pirate systems since Sentinels don't get called in if you destroy a Cargo Pod. What's more, the other cargo you salvage will sell for much higher than most other trade goods (outside of the Pirate system) since it's all contraband. I did some grinding last week and in the course of a couple of hours I'd netted six modules and around 80mil in units from contraband sales
I had just assumed that after a day of gameplay I had left the galaxy. The human mind really cannot comprehend numbers like that of No Man's Sky, or our actual universe which is WAY more vast.
I bought the game years ago, could not get into it. I am now coming back and find info-videos like these amazing. I had no idea the galaxies were cataloged in anyway. I would not even know how to find out what galaxy I just started in. I want a planet that looks amazing but all I find are ugly ones. (Tropical climate is my goal to settle a base on) Thanks for this video, there was so much I had to watch it 3 times.
Recently found your channel and love the content. I have been getting those dark artifacts in a couple of places on my Xbox. I get them when talking to Helios and Ares, and some of the vendors of upgrades on the space stations. I don't get it at any of the teleporters though.
This video was very helpful! When doing it, I realized you don't need to repair anything or use the Exocraft when you land in the new galaxy. Just summon another ship instantly and equip a different Multitool and you're good to go!
The 10th Galaxy Eissentam is easy to get to just finish the main mission to reset the simulation and choose Green/lush it will take you right to Eissentam skipping the other 8 Galaxies. You can always go to the ones you skipped by going back to a base in Euclid and using a portal that takes you near the center and then just warp through. That portal address can be used on each Galaxy takes you 1 jump from the center making it extremely easy to move from one Galaxy to another.
Good video. I've noticed that I can go back and forth between galaxies (in my case between Euclid and Calypso) by using the teleporter to visited space stations.
Yep! Also don't forget to take advantage anytime the featured bases change on the anomaly teleport screen. One goes to Eissentam (10) and one goes to Galaxy 42!
When I first started playing, I only had the 1 glyph, and did the enter-12-times thing. Ended up at a spot on the inside of the Euclid core, about 4000LT from the center. :O Don't remember which glyph it was, though it's been a few years :(
Wanted to see somewhere new..didn't know how to. I did it once but cba to even find the core again so came here. Looking at your list of content, you have some interesting stuff. Here's my sub. Have a good one buddy.
@@WhiskyBarrelGaming So I took the anomaly route...cos it looked easiest...3 new galaxies later... having a blast man thank you for the heads up. (i even remembered to buy a cheap intergalactic hobo ship and multi tool so no dramas there). Awesome stuff man really appreciate the sound advice.
Some galaxy-hopping tips: As others have said, put all you tech and upgrade in the Tech section. Not only save repairs, but allows you to call your ship to you! No need to go hunting. Finally, once you're thru the portal and near the center of the galaxy, try jumping thru a black hole and then jumping thru the center of the galaxy.
Your presentation style Taylor is relaxing like smoke and whiskey, huh that figures, right?. Easy to listen and I learned a couple of things here too. Nice.
I know moat people may know by now seeing as this is 100 months old, but if you want salvaged frigate modules. I usually get one everytime I hit up a crashed freighter on a planet. I also get one pretty consistently on industrial expoditions.
so the serpentine numbers are off, right? or do I not understand how to count this chart? 1, 6, 11, 16, 20 and 30 all make sense. But 30 to 40 are off by one which throws anything after that off by one. 50 is actually 51, 60 is 61 and so on....
1:15 its cause 256 is a byte in terms of processing. 257 galaxies would mean they'd have an entire byte of processing for 1 singular bit (galaxy) the choice in terms of processor efficiency would be to remove 1 galaxy or generate 255 more.
Any easy, quick, way of jumping straight from Euclid direct to Galaxy #70 "Husalvangewi" ?? Or do we have to go through EACH and every galaxy sequentially?
Got the same anoying noise in my screen when im standing in front of the teleporter, or by choosing freighters to go on a mission. This happend short after i finally got an series X so it was pretty confusing but more players have issues with this. About the video i like the way your explaining everything in detail, thank you for that.
I only go to pirate systems to get the frigate salvages systems. the contrabanned gives me lots of cash and you don't have to deal with sentinals. No need to kill the small ships because this will give you rep loss. Once in a while you see a pirate target which will increase your rep easily aswell. its perfect.
All galaxies have the same types of planets. The galaxy type basically means those types of biomes are much more frequent. So a lush galaxy will have a lot more paradise planets than a harsh or empty one.
