That's exactly what I was thinking. Cause I have parents that are really protective and alert whenever my siblings and I are in public.
There's also many things that go on or have gone on dealing with certain family members (ex: grandparents).
My dad talks shit about them and doesn't like for any of his children to be around my grandfather without being supervisored by one of my parents. They never out right said anything, but I can tell that he may possible be a pedophile. However my mom doesn't want to talk to us about it, because she claims it's something we shouldn't know about yet. My parents have gotten into many agruments over this topic.
Sometimes parents don't like telling children things in fear of scaring them or making the truth a reality.

*Berserk* *Vertex* I’m gonna be completely honest here, when I was 17 I played Minecraft with my boyfriend a lot and there was a new update so I was playing after he had gone to bed but kept his computer on and stayed in game for the world to stay open, and I was building a bridge and this one log just started literally mining itself, like the animation that plays when you mine a block was happening to it, but really slowly over the course of like 3 minutes. I left the world and didn’t play Minecraft alone for a while after that LMAO

God that roommate that died from alcohol poisoning one broke my heart
I had a good friend in high school who died from a motorcycle accident. We had drifted apart, but rekindled our friendship about a week before he died. The day before the accident, he told me he had been in love with me and had wanted to get together, but I was seeing someone already, so I turned him down. When I heard what happened the next day, I was heartbroken and it was even worse at the funeral. All I could do was stare at him and think about his last words to me. It was surreal. I felt empty inside and I felt bad for turning him down. Sometimes I wonder if it was my fault. If maybe me turning his advances down caused him to drive recklessly that day. 7 years later and I still wonder. He was a great friend, very sweet, his family was very kind and loving, and he deserved alot more out of life.

Long story time.
When I was a freshman in high school, there was a door in the auditorium. It was backstage, off stage right, and at first glance it appeared to be a bathroom. The sign said "girls", but on closer inspection, most of the letters had fallen off, leaving only "g s". Someone had written in "un", leaving it to spell "guns".
The door had always been nailed shut. Classes never used the auditorium, but I would often go there to practice singing after school, so I had a better lay of the land there than most kids. One afternoon, I decided to inspect the door. I pulled on it. Nothing. I pulled again. It creaked softly. One more pull, and the door swung open, nails littering the floor. I was startled, but kept quiet in case a teacher heard. Coast was clear, so I directed my attention to the door again.
On the other side was a long, dark staircase. It reached up at least a floor, and the air was cold and stale. I looked behind me one more time, and then took the first step inside. The floor was covered in wrappers and leaves, and there were a few stage props against the wall. I closed the door behind me, leaving a bit of space, and continued up the stairs.
The staircase was very tall, and as I climbed the smell of dust and old wood got stronger and stronger. Eventually I got to the top, where I saw something I was never prepared for.
I was standing in a decrepit, crumbling bathroom. The sign was right. But, written on the walls were names of people followed by "RIP" in red spray paint. All of the mirrors were smashed and shattered, shards of glass were on the floor. The ceiling was crumbling, the walls were chipped away. To the right was an actual bathroom, complete with a toilet and another door. On the door to the toilet, there was a poem. I wish I could remember what it said, but as I read it I realized it was about an unwanted baby, presumably born in that bathroom. That realization was what kept me from getting any closer to the toilet, which was dry and brown with what I hope was rust or scum. There were some strange objects on the floor of the room, like a silver plastic angel wing and a roll of film tape. I took both items, along with a shard of the mirror glass, and started back down the stairs.
On the way down, I noticed that the stairwell was completely dark. I had left the door cracked, but no light was coming through. When I reached the bottom, I realized with horror that the auditorium had been powered down and locked. They hadn't known I was in there, and they locked everything up with me inside. I was basically blind in the dark, but I had my phone, so I used the light to find one of the other exits. Locked. The emergency exit? Also locked. I walked out onto the stage and was met with a pitch black sea of chairs - and still no exit.
I was freaking out at this point. I hid back behind a curtain and thought about what to do. Thankfully, someone had forgotten their hoodie on stage, and the principal came in to look for it. I came out and told her that I came in to get it but that I got trapped, and that was good enough for them. I got out safe and sound.
I would've died!!! That story could've gone south so fast if there was someone else with you in the darkness

For me its been happening just this week. My neighbor asked why I was up so late last night, I said I didn't get what he meant cause I passed out at like 9 on my couch. He then went on to tell my bedroom light turned on at 3 an was on for a good hour or two. Then a few days later I saw someone in my backyard who claimed to be a meter reader, and literally 30 minutes later the meter reader's car pulled up infront of my house and I saw the real meter reader check my meter. Last night My roommate said he heard me in the shower and was asking why I got home super late, I wasn't in the shower and I was home all day. Today I saw my bathroom window was slightly opened and the screen was missing. Having the cops search my house/attic/basement today.

It might be a little dumb but what I would do is take the day off of ur job, go buy raspberry pi’s with both motion sensing and camera modules program those bad boys and set them up around the house. Look up a vid on it, I suggest this than buying cams cause its way cheaper

I’m fifteen and for a while I kept feeling like I was being watched everyday and night, and about a month ago I was home alone at night. I was sitting in the kitchen and look out the front window and see someone standing in our front yard, so I go to the living room so they can’t see me. A little while later I hear a voice and my dogs start barking out the back window. I look out and a man is standing there, in my back yard, smiling, and staring straight at me. I ran into my parents room and called my family. He had attempted to open the back door and the garage door was unlocked. It was terrifying

Creepiest experience I have had, is I fully stacked my bookshelf, perfectly (I was really OCD about things like that at the time).
So it was perfectly stacked up, neat and tidy.
I went to bed, woke up at about 2am with a strange gut feeling, and literally 3 seconds later every single book on the shelf hit the floor, as if they all got thrown.
There was no way they could have fallen out, as I packed them in perfectly.
Still wigs me out.

I wasn't there, personally, but my mom tells this story a lot. My parents were just married and had just gotten their new house. My dad was leaving for work after saying goodbye to my mom and he got into his car. But, then he thought he needed to tell my mom that he loved her again, so he went back inside and told her. He then pulled away to go to work.
On the way to work, in an intersection, the car in front of him was pulling forward and was hit by a truck head-on.
If my dad hadn't gone back to say he loved my mom, he would have been killed.
RangerBadger I thought it had to do with some BS “karma” stuff but then I realized that him going back to say it again allowed him to be BEHIND the car and not in front of it. I wonder if something (his gut feeling) told him to say that to her because it knew something bad would happen. Creepy

Any stories dealing with children or minors in general, freak me out. Like it's so scary to think that something bad can happen to unsupervised or unknowledgeable individuals.
They may know something is wrong or feel off, but due to not being adults they may not be taken seriously. Which could be extremely harmful and lead to unfortunate events.
Ya know, yesterday I was thinking that my parents don't give me enough freedom. Rn, I'm pretty grateful that they have an adult near me at all times
No one believes me if I say I hear things, I'm really paranoid and I feel almost like someones stalking me. Last night I heard a deep, raspy voice say, "Not today, she's awake."
That made my heart DROP. No one I know has a voice like that and it was dead at night. Certainly no one was awake. I keep finding things that aren't mine and I hear things my parents don't..

I have a scary story
I was watching Minecraft on TH-cam on my phone in my house, and lately there had been a bunch of robberies in the city I live in, and the robbers always left one sign, a cut cord leading to the power. Well will I was sitting down on my bed watching the vid, the power in my house went out, and for some unknown reason, there was a creepy ass cave noise as it went out. I freaked and called 911 and the cops came over, turns out it was the storm outside that knocked down a power line that lead to my house. The cops where really cool about it and said that you could never be to safe and they left. And every time i play Minecraft, when I hear that cave noise, I freak out

Here's a true story that happened to me:
When I was about 12 years old, I had a habit of staying up late at night, usually reading or playing video games. One night, it was around 2-3am and I was reading, as usual. The only people in the house were me and my parents in the next room over. Both rooms are upstairs. Our house is kind of old, so the stairs make a lot of noise going up and down, and I can usually tell who's coming up the stairs by their pace and how heavy the footsteps are.
So I'm alone, reading, the only person in the house who's awake, and I hear footsteps. It's an unfamiliar pace, walking up the stairs, with the noise starting at the bottom and coming up. Being the brave, daring child I am, I freak out immediately and stop what I'm doing. I listen to the footsteps reach the top of the stairs and stop. Then silence. Nobody walking up the hallway, or going down the stairs, just silence. Like they were just standing at the top of the stairs. 5 minutes of quiet anxiety pass before I psych myself up enough to check it out, and I find nothing. Nobody's there.
I have no idea what to do, because it seems impossible. There's no way to go down those stairs quietly, nobody was in the hallway, and there's nowhere else to go. After a moment, I just tell myself it's nothing and lay awake in bed for an hour before falling asleep.
It's been 4 years and I still have no idea what happened. It sounds like someone came up the stairs, but nobody was there and the footsteps didn't go anywhere. I doubt I imagined it, because I've never had a good imagination and nothing else like this has ever happened. And I doubt it was the house settling. The stairs creaked one by one, starting at the bottom. That doesn't just "happen".
So there's my story. Footsteps on the stairs late at night, nobody was there. Nothing else happened.

When the Jullian Calendar was about to end I was paranoid. This was when I was in elementary school. On the last night I was in tears and crying but eventually went to sleep. I remember waking up in the middle of the night to see a man I had never seen before sitting on the foot of my bead. I couldn’t feel his weight on the bed. He told me I was safe and that nothing was going to hurt me and he calmed me down. He was a man who looked to be in his 30s-40s. I assumed it was god or Jesus when I was a kid and still was religious. When I was in middle school I was going thru old pictures with my mom and I saw the man. It was my great grandfather who had passed away before I was born. I had never seen him before that point. To this day it weirds me out and I believe in spirits and that there is something after death. My family always tells me he would of loved me as we where very similar in our personalities and interest.
My mother and brother have had encounters with passed relatives including my great grandmother and a aunt that passed when my mom was a kid

When I was like 5 or something as a kid I had got really scared of this huge thunderstorm one night and went into my parents room. I woke up again that night from thunder and was just laying there looking at the wall. All of a sudden there was this human shadow that looked like it ran across the wall into the closet. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack and it still creeps me out

I have a story that once happened to me
It was about 11/12 ish at night and I was about 12/13 years old and I was in my room under my bed which is like a bunk bed watching TH-cam. No one in my family was home that night because my sis was at camp and both my parents at a party till about 1AM. As I’m watching my videos I hear noise in the house. I pause my vid and take out my headphones listening for any noise as I’m always paranoid for no reason. Light in the hallway turns on and I literally sh*t my pants thinking their might be some serial killer out their. So I stay still not moving at all and I hear the person walk into the bathroom close the door do something flush the toilet turn the sink on then come out. By this time I had been spamming my parents with messages and calling them no stop but to no response as they were at the party. I became so frightened that i was becoming light headed. The person was standing in the hallway and was breathing loudly and turned the light on and off. I started thinking this is it I’m going to die. The person mumbles out loud and that finally sent me off as the mumbeling sounded like a middle aged man. I started texting anyone I could in my contacts. I contacted my Freind who was my neighbor. No response. I contacted his parents no response. I contacted another Freind who lived close by nor response. By this time the person was investigating my sisters room down the hall. I texted another neighbor he responded. I started telling him that you need to call someone to my house or something. He said he couldn’t cause he was also at a party. Now the person was making noise in my parents room which was closer to my room I started panicking more. He said he would tell his mother to come and get me. I said ok thank you. I then Laid down perfectly still as I hear this man walk around then silence. I stop breathing and put my hand around a soda can which I had crushed long ago because their were sharp edges. I heard nothing for what seemed like hours and then another person entered the house through the front door. I nearly shat my pants a second time but I heard out my name being called and I came out of my room to see nothing. No one was their the lights were off and nothing looked like it was touched. Me and my neighbors parent searched the house but found nothing. Nothing was moved and their was no way the person could have entered since both doors were locked. I still have no idea what it was and it still scares me when I think about.

As a type one diabetic myself also 9:09 i have a insulin pump which connects to my body and i entree my blood sugar and the carbs I ate...on time I clicked on blood sugar and entered 999 instead of 199 almost gave me 1000 units as soon as I pressed accept delivery i realized I gave my self 1000 units of insulin wich could kill me in an instant I stopped it after about 10 units and started crying thinking this was the end and then I realized only 10 units went through then I stopped it...oof

This may be a long story but in a type 1 too. Before I got my pump i was on pens and after in injecting at night time I realised I had used 13U of fast acting instead of the long acting insulin. This wouldn't have been too much of a deal except I was at boarding school, had only a can of coke and a caramel wafer in my draw and they shut the kitchens and medical cupboards (with the glucose gels) overnight. I had a panic attack and then realised I had kept one of those glucose injection things under my bed and somehow managed to work out how to use it, I still panic when I think of that moment.

A few months ago me, my brother, and my cousin were in the woods behind my house. There is a pond about 100 yards from my house. We were just sitting there chilling and chatting. Then I said loudly "HELLO" and then I said to them "what if someone said something ba-" I heard a female voice say "hey" in an echo. My brother turned to me with a look of absolute horror on his face and all 3 of us took off running. My cousin said he had never seen me move so fast ever in my life(I'm not fast at all) we think it was a ghost.

It was a decade ago, I was about 8 years old when it happened. During the evening (maybe like 6 p.m) I volunteered to go and throw out the bin. So I woke down the alley just outside my house to put the bin there. At that moment a white van just stopped in front of me. The driver started getting out of the van and being dumb at that age I stayed there. My mom saw me down the alley and made a crazy dash to get to me on time. Luckily the guy spotted her and start ‘checking’ his car like everything was normal. I’m still not sure if they really wanted to kidnap me but damn that was scary

A weird thing that happened to me:
One morning, I awoke at 6:42 am in a cold sweat; I had a dream of me being in a car accident, and it felt so real, since in my dream I had seen it firsthand. I just calmed myself down, and that everything was fine.
1 hour later, at 7:42 am, my mom had a car accident while coming home from work. I told my dad and described everything I saw in my dream. We visited my mom in the hospital, and she told me every little detail that happened, which I saw in my dream. My dad told her this, too. I still have nightmares about car accidents, but its not as bad as before and nothing has happened since.
We still have no idea what caused me to have that dream and how it turned into reality, only difference is that it was my mom.
This reminds me of a dream my bff told me about, though the one she had hasn't come true.

I grew up sharing my bedroom with my sister. We slept on bunk beds, every night for almost 18 years with her always on the top bunk and me on the bottom. When she tossed and turned while trying to fall asleep I could feel it move the bed. One night I felt the bed moving as usual, except my sister had left for college several months ago and I was supposed to have the room to myself. I practically leapt across the room and turned on the lights but nothing was on the top bunk. The next day I learned that there had been a very small earthquake.
When I moved away for college I was sad I could not take the dogs with me, so my grandmother got me one of those realistic Perfect Petzzzz sleeping puppy that have their bellies rise and fall to look like they are breathing. There is no off switch so they just keep breathing until the battery goes out. The battery lasted a while, up until a few months later I had to rush home, because my grandmother was sick. She ended up dying while I was over there and when I returned back to college I noticed that the puppy she gave me was no longer breathing either.
My house is on a pretty steep hill so the second floor had the front lawn and the lower one had the back one. One time i was sitting in my kitchen with my laptop hesdphones on, it was around 11:00 pm when i start to feel weird, then my sister came to get a glass of water. She screams, i know somethings wrong so i take of my headphones ask her what happened turns out there was an old man about to open the window next to me (it was slightly open already) and i reliase that the weird feeling was someone watching me. I hate being alone upstairs now

Okay, that is absolutely horrifying.
A year or two ago, I had been walking back to my bedroom after grabbing a cup of coffee. When I grabbed for the handle, it moved down almost effortlessly (it normally needed more force) and I stared at the handle for a bit. I let go of it and it moved back down.
Boy, I slowly walked back to the kitchen. I put my coffee down and grabbed a kitchen knife thinking that someone was in my room. (I am kind of paranoid and I was home alone at the time. It was dark outside.) I literally swung my door wide open, letting it hit the wall (because if a person was behind the door, the door and the handle could knock into said person letting me know that someone is there *and* giving me time to get away as they might be in a bit of pain and yk, there's a door infront of them)
There was a bag hanging on my door handle and it slipped down a little. (Handle, not knob.) It slid down a little.
Was not fun.

One time, I was in my cousins house, in his bedroom. We were playing something and decided to go outside into the yard with the dogs and my cousins older sister. As we were going to the park near his house, we heard rustling in the bushes. We looked around and nothing was there. Then we saw a parked car. A cop car. My cousins explained that car had been there for months, without moving. We continued to the park and ran around for about 45 mins. When we were on our way back, we saw someone shoving a duffel bag into a car. It was black. The guy looked at us and ran in the car, racing off.

When I was around 8 years old I had this dog named Gloria, and I was the only one who cared for her. My mom and abusive stepfather had just left, and Gloria had gotten out. I went running down my street, hoping to find her. My neighbors who lived in a crummy duplex, told me that they had seen her and that she was in their house. Turns out that she was, but I didn't realize that I could have been kidnapped when my family wasn't even around to know. Years later I still talk to my mom about this and she barely remembers Gloria, and even I don't even know what happened after I left my neighbor's house.

That story about the kid visiting their grandma reminded me of something that happened to me. When I was five I remember being at Wal-Mart with my grandma, aunt, and little sister. I was holding hands with my grandma and then I guess I looked away and let go, I closed my eyes and kept talking about what is was before and her hand grabbed mine again. Then I realized that I didnt hear my aunt or cart making noise and we were walking alot not stopping and I open my eyes and the first thing I saw was the doors (we were maybe 20 feet away) and look up to a lady who just looked down at me and smiled, she kept walking with me but I let go of her hand and sprinted away, I found my grandma but she just thought I walked away.

I had a similar experience where a random man I didn’t know tried to grab my hand while my mother was distracted. She caught him and he said he thought I was his daughter but he was shopping alone. my mother rushed me away and didn’t say a word. I didn’t realise what he was trying to do until today when I remembered it. This was when I was quite young maybe 9 or younger. Either he was trying to kidnap me or he actually believed I was his daughter.

This was back in 2012 or 2013, I was 17 or 18. I was laying in bed with my ex. We were back to back, facing away from one another. Our backs were literally touching. It was pretty early in the morning. She was an EXTREMELY heavy sleeper. I wasn't fully awake but just starting to come to. Then I felt this searing pain on my back. It almost felt like an Indian burn but on my lower back, just in this one specific spot. I remember sitting up really fast (kinda pissed off) and being like, "Ava, WHAT THE FUCK..." She was dead ass asleep, but woke up after I said that.
"Why did you bite me??"
"What are you talking about? I didn't."
She was being genuine. She didn't get upset like I was accussing her of something. She was just kinda smiling like, "huh?" She was like, "you literally just saw me asleep." Deep down I knew she didn't budge. I would've felt the bed move, and she slept like a rock.
I explain to her what happened and she pulls out her camera. She starts laughing but it's kind of nervous laugh. She takes a couple pictures, and there's.. a set of teeth marks on my back. Just a set of teeth burned red into my back. We show her parents, who are extremely puzzled and don't really know what to say. Like they wanted to believe us but at the same time how could they just accept that information as the truth?
By far the most disturbing thing is, there was no saliva. It was just a dry bite mark. I felt the bite, but no tongue orbreath. Just my flesh being clenched with malice. It was like a rug burn on my back. I always shrug it off, and it makes for a good story but... sometimes when I really think about it, it doesn't seem so funny. Like even typing it I know how it sounds but, I swear man. I had other minor things happen and it was always when I was with her, but that one was the most troubling. Like something wanted to physically harm me for being with her.

I had one of these experiences when I was in grade 3. One time afterschool, I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. I went to the front door of our school and waited there. Suddenly a black car appeared (That car was circling around my school earlier). It stopped where I was. I moved back a bit to see if it will follow me. It did. I quickly ran to the playground and saw a parent and a child going to their car (This was during summer so a lot of kids will play in the playground). I quickly asked to borrow the parent's phone and I noticed the black car driving away. The car didn't appear ever again the rest of my years there.
This didn't happen to me, but a friend and old classmate that lives up the road.
So she was walking home from school, and a van pulled up right next to her. The people inside said they were looking for their dog. The girl had common sense and started to walk away.
She tried.
The people literally drove on to the pavement and nearly hit her. They miss, and then get out of the van and try to pick her up.
She Pelts it away.
Luckily for her there were people around and asked what happened. She explained to the people and turned around to point them out.
Only to see nobody there. The van was gone. The girl is now fine.
This happened about 5 years ago
Not really creepy but kinda spooky.
I was returning from my grandma and grandpas house and just sitting in the bus when one of my friends called me. She sounded hysterical and was crying so naturally I tried to calm her down so she can tell me what happened. She said she just woke up and had a dream that I was in an accident and that no one was there to help me. I shrugged it off, even tho I had a weird feeling and told her it's just a dream, that I'm fine, nothing happend. She calmed down but mentioned something happening to my leg when the accident happened and told me to be careful. This was really really odd for me but by the time I got home I forgot about it.
The next day my mom asked me to go to the parking lot where my step dad was and deliver him the sponge for the car. I went there and I was walking in heels. There's a big step when you exit the building and I wasn't paying attention. I don't know how but when I put my foot down and was making a step my leg just twisted, like the bone fvcking jumped out and came back and I fell.
Now, near the parking eria, there aren't any shops or anything with people, just other buildings. I screamed and tried to call for help for about 10 minutes until one of the neighbors passing by heard me and came to see what happened.
Later at the hospital we determined I managed to dislocate my knee, somehow. And when we got back home, the neighbor (that carried me to the car) told us there's been some kind of accident at the parking lot. I told my friend what happend and since then she claims to be some sort of medium? And idk I guess I always think, what if I didn't dislocate my knee? Would the dream play out?

When I was around 4-6 years old my grandpa died around thanksgiving. It was thanksgiving day and my grandma was in the living room and I went into the kitchen, almost as if time had stopped everything was still and the door connected to my kitchen opened and out came my grandpa like not a ghost it looked exactly like him he started to walk towards me and I got scared so I ran into the living room I went over to my grandma and asked if grandpa was coming for thanksgiving (I didn’t know he passed) and she said “My name grandpa passed away” although nothing happened I thought it was pretty spoopy.

Okay here’s mine. This happened to me a few months ago. I was laying in my bed with the door open, as I normally do, and was just about to fall asleep. Suddenly, I hear a guttural laugh that sounds like it’s coming from a man. It was loud enough to wake me from just about falling asleep, but sounded like it was coming from the kitchen or living room. So I got up and started looking around for anything that could’ve caused it. I looked outside the windows to see if it was neighbours or something, but found nothing. I went back to bed, still shaken up, but shaked it off as being my imagination. About 10 minutes later, I’m again laying in my bed, I hear two men laughing, but it was more faint. I played it off as it being my brother maybe watching a video or something that made that noise, as his room was next to mine. I asked him about it in the morning, and he said that he went straight to bed that night, so it wouldn’t have been him. I asked my dad, he said he didn’t hear it and it wasn’t him. To this day, I have no clue what it was. It wasn’t even that late at night, so I don’t think it was all in my head.

When I was maybe 9 and my brother was 1 my mom brother and I went to visit family in California. We stayed in a motel right next to the highway. We went to sleep and the next morning my mom told me something that still freaks me out. My mom had locked the dead bolt *and* the chain lock that night because my brother couldn’t reach the chain lock. We *never* used the chain lock before, just didn’t think it was necessary. Growing up I had huge problems with sleep walking. I’d wake up in the kitchen, living room, and even the hall way all the time at home. Well my mom woke up in the middle of the night to a loud thudding noise from the door. She looked up to see I had unlocked the dead bolt and was trying to go outside. She called out to me and I just...stopped and went back to bed. If my brother wasn’t there, if we hadn’t locked the chain lock, I could’ve sleep walked right into the highway. We were on the second floor too, I could’ve walked right of the edge or fallen down the stairs or god knows what else. It still gives me a sinking feeling to this day and I am just so happy that luck was on my side.

One time, I was at a Camp with my school, and we were being told scary stories. When we got back to the tent, I heard screaming all through the night. I wake up, looking around to see what happened. I wake up to find random chatter outside of the tent.
Everyone woke up, and the screaming started again. Now, every tent had lights flickering on and off in their rooms.
Turns out it was foxes fighting. Still spooky as though.
Ok I usually sleep on my stomach it’s just comfortable for me that way, Anyways I was sleeping and in my dream I saw a scary woman than In a flash I saw myself crying on the floor (I was still dreaming when I saw myself crying btw) I woke up side ways with my head and feet hanging off the bad, I was terrified of any of my body parts hanging of my bed for some reasons, I went back to bed
I woke up in the morning bc I heard a car pull up in our yard I check but there’s no car but instead a woman standing there but she had her back was facing our house then I remembered the woman in my dream she matched her silhouette perfectly later that day I was sitting on the floor and for some reason I burst into tear for no reason I look around my room and I’m crying on the same spot I had in my dream

when i was like 10 years old i used to live at my grandmas house with my little brother and my older sister and aunt.on someday i sleep walked out of my room, opened a seperate pull dppr of the hallway , picked up a bunch of keys hanged taller than me , opened another hallway door while asleep. not just that, but i even managed to open the house door and the other steel door in front of it all asleep, the keys were all different keys but i managed to know which from other seven. luckily my aunt caught me after waking up thinking its a burglar.

I swear it's like somebody scared him because all of a sudden he looked scared and left. I looked around, nobody was there the only person well animal there other then me was a black cat that was standing behind me. I'm still confused why he ran away from the cat.

My parents and I were on our way to a blueberry festival. We were camping nearby and decided to take a look, mainly because my mom wanted the doughnuts there. On the highway, though, a driver suddenly pulled off a side road right in front of us while we were going high speed and my dad didn’t see him until my mom screamed. My dad swerved just in time, and we continued on, but that was the closest we came to crashing and being killed and I thank the Lord Almighty that it didn’t happen.
I think, to this day, I’ve always been traumatized of other drivers on the road because of that event. Seriously, my whole family nearly got DESTROYED because of a combination of a driver pulling out prematurely into the middle of the highway and my dad’s inability to see him until the last second.
My grandpa taught me you should expect everyone else that are on the road are complete idiots

A week after my grandpa died I saw a very old man on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, basically, I asked my mom if she could pull over to see if he needed help. When we asked the man if he was ok he looked me dead in the eyes I couldn't help but believe he looked exactly like my grandpa. He looked focused on me for a second before his eyes wondered towards the direction we were driving then he said how about we just talk for a little while. My mom was weirded out but we talked to him and he kept saying he's glad he got to see his daughter and granddaughter one last time and he wouldn't tell us what he meant. After about five minutes there was a sound of a car crashing we went (the man came with us) to see if everything was ok and there was a three car pile up. He looked at me and said thank you for stopping then he walked back the way we came.

Could have also been a raccoon those buggers can sound like a human screaming. Freaking got into a new place (about a month there) and in the middle of the night I hear this scream that sounds like someone is in front of my house getting murdered... I then hear my name being called... almost died of fear right there and then... Scared my parents half to death when I accidentally called them at 3 am. (I had been trying to decide whether to call them or not about the scream, and had decided not to.) My Mom was yelling my name into my phone and I did figure that out... Then as I was talking to my Mom I went around and looked out my windows. It was a raccoon fight. Freaking Raccoons!
Yeah i think that one is totaly bs, ive read alot of this kinds posts in reddit and with time you can diference the fake ones just by the way they are written (and the absolute improbability of the story too)

The scariest thing that happened to me was when I was around 6 or 7 I can’t remeber how old I was, and I was with my mom at a McDonalds in Denver waiting for my biological dad to come pick me up for my visit (they were divorced) and I was sitting eating my pancakes and I heard my name being called so I said by to my mom and ran outside and got in a strangers car and asked where are we going and they stared at me and I realized I wasn’t in the right car so I flung open the door and ran back into McDonald’s crying... it was rather embarrassing now that I think about it but it truly was terrifying...;~;

I firmly believe that some people know when their time is up. I've witnessed it and have heard so many stories about people acting like they know they're not long for the world shortly before they die. They might not know that they're going to die per se, but there's an urgency to say what they need to say or do what they need to do before it's too late. It's strange.

I was going home from school at about 20 o'clock and a car stopped in front of me when I wanted to cross the road. The driver just stared right into my eyes with no face expression for like 5 sec and then continued going, still watching me. Wasn't scary or anything but watching these videos makes me think it was way more complicated
One time my friend and I were walking up this really big hill to get to my house and one of my neighbors that we never talk to asked us if she could give us a ride literally 5 feet from my house. We were 8 or 9.

The very first post, that could have been mine. Except, it was 1977 and the girl was my best friend. She'd tried to get me to skip school to go to the Jet station, it's similar to a 7-11. She had her little sister with her which I didn't know until after. My friend and I were always mistaken for sisters with me having skin a bit darker than hers, I'm half Greek.
The two of them were picked up and disappeared. This was March of 77. Her parents accused me of knowing where they were that evening when I didn't even know they were missing.
Fast forward to the opening of hunting season specifically Doe Day, October 77. The news that night floored me.
Hunters had found my friend and her sister.
I really need to do a proper post on Reddit. If for no other reason than to have their story told as a warning. The man convicted of the crimes was a *family friend*!
Had I ignored my parent's teaching and warnings, there would have been 3 victims that day.

I have a story
When I was 10 I got one of them laser beam traps that when the laser beam is broken the alarm sounds. I was going to prank my mum so I put it in her bedroom doorway and waited downstairs.
I was sat waiting for my mum as the alarm sounded. At the time I had no pets and my mum was next to me and no one else was in the house.
I was so freaked out when I went up and nothing was there
When I was 7-8 I was playing in my backyard (my backyard has a lot of trees and bushes) and there was this shed I had a weird feeling and all the sudden a red ballon float up it scared me ( I already had a phobia of clowns) then the next night something on a bike rides by playing clown music
My sister had an experience like that. She was driving home from work (she works in the evening and comes home at around midnight) down a residential road and out of the sewer gutter she sees a red balloon floating. By the morning however it was gone. Her husband didnt believe her until they were both in the car driving down the same road late at night and the balloon was there again.
