You know what, I think Ruby looks really happy here at Oxford University! You can feel it in her voice, the way she's so passionate about talking & telling us about the university; it explains it all. Lots of love to you Ruby!
Truly, I don't think I've ever been happier! You obviously know me well if you can tell ;) I can't tell you how much I'm loving the challenge of Oxford! I hope you're having a good day x
She looks absolutely miserable and on the verge of tears most of the times. The smiles seem very fake and plastered. I think the novelty of Oxford will soon wear of and start to become a dread. It doesn't look like she really enjoys her courses, more like she is trying to escape the actual work by library-hopping and cos-playing a dark academia character
Ruby, I feel like we've grown up together. I can remember being in high school and watching your videos about preparing for GCSEs and A levels while I was getting my university applications ready. I watched you all throughout my undergraduate whenever I needed a boost of motivation, which was much needed especially during COVID. Now we're both working on our Master's degrees and pursuing careers that we're passionate about. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me and letting me be on yours with you
I feel very proud of you. People who love to read and learn may feel overwhelmed in a class because sometimes the way they are teaching is methodical and different. But you have the attitude and the spirit to enjoy
Don't forget to make friends, too. I went to Cambridge and it can be really lonely and seem all-consuming at points. The right friends will lighten the load.

Ruby's energy is so beautiful. I know mostly it's about the environment and achievement that she is grappling with. However, it's rare to see such tenderness and confidence at the same time, proving it's possible to be this down to earth and prioritize your own dreams. I love the way she shows us a glimpse of her solitude and then how she envisions herself in the magical world of Oxford. It’s never easy, but you made it all come true. I am so happy for you. I love the way you are happy with your dream life, even through challenges. Take love❤️
Go Ruby! I was an English student at Cambridge back in the day and remember how isolating and lonely it can feel to have all the academic pressure. Hopefully you are enjoying it (it seems like you are from this video). Exams are important but they aren't everything. Hope you have a great rest of term.
I was so glad to hear that you are not taking where you are for granted. I was an undergraduate at Oxford and after a year or so I did start to forget how beautiful the city is and how lucky I was as it just become my life. Looking back it was a great time in my life. Enjoy
i started undergrad this year at aged 21 and these videos are giving me lots of motivation, getting up for a 9am lecture isn't always the best but romanticising your routine helps a lot
Just try and be glad you are not getting a 6.30 train, that’s what my first job after graduating required……I wished I was back at the 9.00 lectures which were only a walk away rather than having to get up at 5.00 to drive to the train station! Not fun in mid winter. I very quickly looked for another job….
Ruby you're my very far away dream of studying in Oxford. I so much love how happy, organized and like just how much you're enjoying your time there and living it.. Just lovely, sending you hugs from Romania
As someone with ADHD who loves studying but often struggles with it your channel has honestly been such an immense motivation now that I am starting college

I've been struggling a bit mentally this past week, and I was really looking forward to one of your videos! They are always a fantastic pick me up and truly inspire me academically. I need to do a fourth year because of some curricular changes and I feel so behind my peers who are have been graduating the past months. But I can't wait to start my masters in something that I truly love, and it's definitely keeping me going. A bit of a long comment, but I really needed to vent in an "academical safe space" hahaha
hi ruby thanks so much for sharing beautiful footages of your daily life! I hope you're feeling safe and loved in Oxford , I recently moved to a new city as well and I am happy with my decision but there are moments that I feel insecure or anxious or alone sometimes, even though I like being my own company ! I do love Oscar Wilde! I've just finished reading the wonderful Wilde biography by Matthew Sturgis and loved it. I agree with you when you say that having too many choices is disturbing: I also prepare my bag and clothes the evening before class, so that I'm sure I can focus on the work that's ahead of me and not on trivial things such as "What I am going to wear??"
I really enjoyyy this journeyyy your morning routine is a fascinating glimpse into a world of discipline and academic dedication. It takes me back to the insightful teachings of my life coach, Lisa Haisha, during her retreat in the Philippines. She spoke about the importance of embracing challenges to foster personal and intellectual growth. Your commitment to your studies echoes the principles she shares in The Soul Blazing, Both you, as an Oxford student, and Lisa inspire me to approach life with curiosity, resilience, and a thirst for knowledge.
I don't usually comment, but I have been watching your channel since you were 16 or 17, maybe, and I am genuinely happy that you seem so happy. Oxford definitely complements you and it feels like you truly love being there, and belong there. Wish it was me 😂 It brings me joy to watch your videos, and although I have finished my education (for now), I used to see your videos as inspiration for me, and still do honestly. Just love your videos, thank you for keeping up with uploading them, even with how busy you must be, and good luck with your masters! 😁

Ruby, please consider adding a moisturiser between your serum and sunscreen, perhaps a light gel type one if you don’t want too much product beneath your makeup. I know that the hydration from serum alone can feel enough when you are young and you tend to worry more about oiliness than dryness, but skipping moisturiser for that reason often results in dehydration-prone skin a few years later. I’m telling this from my personal experience and that of many around me who skipped moisturiser for fear of looking too oily in their early-mid twenties and have had it all coming back to them in their thirties 😢
I am a second year of level 5 of Digital Media degree at Canterbury University, city I get up at 06:30am, and my morning routine is to get a train commute to the city at 07:54am, which takes 26 minutes. I have two morning lectures at 9 a.m. On one of the days, the 9 a.m. seminar is pactical for 3 hours, with 3 hour gap, I study and 3 p.m. theory lecture for 3 hours.

so nice to see you seemingly thriving at Oxford, Ruby! though it is always nice to see new content from you, I hope you're taking your time with all your responsibilities 🍂it's important to maintain a healthy balance!
I'm the same with finding out I had to do an extra semester. So excited that Ruby started her masters in time :)
I love your matching pyjamas and slippers, it's the cutest thing I've seen today ❤
Aren't they adorable!
Love these Oxford videos. ❤ Thank you for sharing your journey, Ruby. 👏

that's so lovely! Ah thank you so much x
@RubyGranger8 And I love your videos never stop uploading! 🖤😁
That get well card was so sweet.
I'm so happy for you that you now study at Oxford! I know it has been your dream for a long time and you sound so excited and overjoyed!!
I just visited the U.K. While in London, I went into a Pret a Manger every chance I got. I wish we had one where I live. Love the Pret!
I don't usually comment, but I have been watching your channel since you were 16 or 17, maybe, and I am genuinely happy that you seem so happy. Oxford definitely complements you and it feels like you truly love being there, and belong there. Wish it was me 😂
It brings me joy to watch your videos, and although I have finished my education (for now), I used to see your videos as inspiration for me, and still do honestly. Just love your videos, thank you for keeping up with uploading them, even with how busy you must be, and good luck with your masters! 😁
I came back to the channel after a year; very happy to see you in Oxford. Also I remembered how pretty is your accent
And here is reminder for you: You really look like 16
Ruby, please consider adding a moisturiser between your serum and sunscreen, perhaps a light gel type one if you don’t want too much product beneath your makeup.
Can I just say I'm in love with the intro song you choose! It suits your academic vibe
I am a second year of level 5 of Digital Media degree at Canterbury University, city
I get up at 06:30am, and my morning routine is to get a train commute to the city at 07:54am, which takes 26 minutes. I have two morning lectures at 9 a.m. On one of the days, the 9 a.m. seminar is pactical for 3 hours, with 3 hour gap, I study and 3 p.m. theory lecture for 3 hours.
Must be nice walking past through those brilliant architecture
Your videos are a wonderful boost of motivation for my ADHD brain. Do you have any videos or posts on how you breakdown projects/larger tasks?
I also have a Chilly bottle for 4 years now, it’s still amazing.
Recommendation for everyone 💓
Great video, love from Croatia
