So, I have made it a routine now.. I literally make sure to watch atleast 1 video of ruby every single day. She is just so so inspirational, I've managed to study consistently for long hours and focus for 12 hours every day. Ruby if you're reading this just know that you've been my greatest source of motivation since 2017. Thank you for being such an inspirational creator in this platform ❤️ thank you ruby

You don't have to concentrate for 12 hours a day, it's harmful to your health.

Impressive discipline but let me sar you a piece of advice, you should not study so many hours for several reasons, firstly because it is proven not effective for learning and secondly because it is detrimental to your mental and physical health and will lead you to burnout, look at Ruby, she does not study twelve hours unless it is special cases, her life is rich and she also takes care of her physical and mental health, she exercises, walks, does skincare, eats enough and well and finds time to do the things she likes besides being consistent with studying, you can't do all this by studying 12 hours a day

The way you are able to stick to so many habits even after a long day of studying is very impressive. I'm nowhere near as disciplined! But thank you for the idea to integrate dissertation work, even if it's just for 5-10 minutes, into your routine. The enormity of the task makes me procrastinate and i flinch when i even think about it :(

Hi. I just wanted to say thank you as i am a year 8 and before i started watching you a found my self not being able to keep concentration for more than 10 minutes , however since then i have progressed and can easily do 2-3 hours and can now read properly in whit h before i had to use coloured overlays , i know that no one will probably see this but i just wanted to say thank. You xx

Watching your videos gives me an amount of motivation and energy that makes me able to go ahead with my studies even when I'm too demotivated or tired. I could watch your videos again and again just to catch that sparkle I need to go ahead and study even more, until you release a new one, which is always a blessing.

Ruby, you are quite good at set shifting and I am not at all. You are able to jump from thing to thing for short periods of time, whereas I need extended periods of time with deep concentration. You are obviously an excellent learner and I find it interesting what works for different people. I have a doctorate degree so have been successful academically as well. Since you like Greek tragedies I just wanted to let you know that in Siracusa(Sicily) a festival of the Greek tragedy is yearly held in May. Basically it's about going to the performances in the Greek theatre in the city but I don't actually know if they have any other related actiivities. Sicily is full of Greek theatres by the way( there's even one in Taormina).
I've also noticed you started Latin. It's good considering that not so many british people study ancient languages.

It could be entirely new/unfamiliar words that I don't know, or words that I know but never use, or words that I'm not entirely certain I could use in a sentence. Why would the marshmallows have to be vegan?

@bethmcmullan7686 Ruby is vegan so probably that's why.

Great moisture I have used is Neals Yard sensitive moisture. You do not need to use much so the bottle lasts a good few months. Love you videos ❤

I used to never moisturize too but now I have found a good one. It doesn't leave your face sticky, you feel refreshed and you don't need to apply a lot! It's called Rilastil Acqua Intense creme 72 h Gel-Crema Idratante. The only problem is that i usually find it in pharmacies in Italy so idk if you guys have it in the UK. If you can find, I would highly reccomend it!☺

Also for a good moisturizer I personally love the Belif water cream and the aqua bomb. One is like a gel moisturizer the cream is obviously a cream but its the same smell and the cream is smooth. A good similar product is the Nuetrogena gel balm both are really nice and very hydrating. And for something thicker if you get windburn or really dry skin during. thewinter is the Avene Balm its thick but very nice to put on the cheeks when you get really raw skin due to the cold!

I use clearstart moisturizer and it’s also a 30 spf sunscreen!! I’ve struggled with acne for years and this one is super gentle on my skin

Lovely cosy video as always - I don’t know how you do it all ! I’m shit at looking after my skin and I put off spending money on any sort of self care (even when I really need it) BUT an amazing vegan and cruelty free moisturiser I use (which you can get in the U.K.) is the SOS spf 50 - it’s amazing for dry and sensitive skin 🙌 loving the Oxford content and so happy for you 😊
