- I just installed the Harley Davidson tall windshield on my Low Rider ST. FXLRST and went out for a ride to test it out! Comparing the windshield with the stock : wind deflection , sound comparison from my Rockford Fosgate with both windshields.
Took a ride to Hawk’s nest and tested out the sound system and windshield.

Love the taller windshield makes the entire front end more complete n wrapped in a bubble. Great reviews n can't wait to get an ST when they come available or if I can find one. I've been riding a 2008 HD Nightster n love it I'm not a big guy only 5'7 150 lbs n I think this is the bike that fits me perfect without going to the big heavy baggers. I love your content Sandy good job 👏 👍 👌

We are in New Zealand and ordered the ST within 2 days of the release in the USA. Still waiting for its arrival and hope to have it by mid June '22.
The NZ Infantry, when serving in the Vietnam War - were called the 'Grey Ghosts' by the VC.
My husband served in 1RNZIR & 2/1 RNZIR Infantry for 30 yrs. Rick has ordered the Gunship Grey and has named it after our Vietnam Vets who served.

Another awesome video Sandy. I'm not much of a sound guy on my bikes but the sound you have coming from that audio system is great. I've always gone with the higher windshields cause like you I don't like the head bobbling, good choice to get a taller one. Now the aftermarket is going to have to play catch up, cheers man, 😎😎😎
Yeah- this windshield is much more effective- I’d prefer a slightly darker tint - just for better looks .
Only thing I'd like added to my windshield is a clockwork bend to get bugs out of my face!

Surprisingly No buffeting - much smother than my Electra. Only area getting wind is my knees and lower

Put this windshield on my ST, really makes a difference with the wind. I hope either Harley or an aftermarket company comes out with a taller smoked shield.
I was told by clock Werks that they are almost finished with their designs . A few different tint options

just got mine. i wish the tint was a little darker - i agree its better than stock for wind buffetting especially when i wear my 1/2 helmet.

How it the clarity at night with that windshield? I don't have the greatest vision at night, wanted to see if it was hard to see at night?
I was fine with the stock shield but I got the 10 inch to give my ol more wind protection. The 10 inch actually caused me to get helmet buffeting. Im going to try a clearview.

I didn’t use a torque meter - so don’t really know . But it was not too tight!
Hi Sandy i’ve watched most of your awesome videos thank you. Can you help me please ? I’ve bought a ST I HAVE A PROBLEM with helmet buffeting it is that bad at highway speeds my vision is effected. I tried to cure it by fitting the tall 10” HD screen. I was so disappointed yesterday how I ineffective it was. I’m 5’10” and I’m using HD sundowner seat. Any suggestions please help! Hey Sandy nice Video! Im a Fan From Germany! I just noticed After 1 Hour of riding that I get neck pain while riding my st. Maybe its from the pressure on my head. Most of the time I wear a jet helmet or a braincap. I noticed that both helmet react like a sail in the Wind, when riding like 50-60mph. Do you think a taller windshiel Would solve that? I got This kind of issue on almost every bike Ive ever ridden but till now Ive Never had a windshiel or even a fairing. Did you have neck issues while riding it? Im thinking bout Changing the risers to. I think I need a little More pullback!
I had the same problem but after installing a spoiler on top of the windshield the pain or discomfort is gone. The discomfort is caused by the pressure on the helmet.

beautiful ride! ordered mine yesterday, have to wait till october to get it though... isnt the audio annoying for other people when you come off the highway and ride in a village? or at traffic lights and such

I never looked into sissy bars for the bike …. So I don’t have a confirmed suggestion. Look into Facebook group called Liw rider ST

Greetings, Aussie here and I have a 203 FLRST and I too am annoyed with the wind in the face, its more then a naked front. However I do also have a long beard and most screens and fairings cause my beard to blow up over my eyes, the stock screen does not do this. Any chance you could let someone with a long beard ride your bike with the larger 10 inch screen to see it causes the beard to blow up over the eyes? If you could it would be greatly appreciated. I bought this windshield for my El Diablo. I like the height but it has an annoying whistle when I go over 60 mph. The dealer worked on it twice and I thought they solved the problem but it has come back. I will be looking for a better aftermarket solution. I don't understand why Harley sells fairing bikes with small windshields. Why would you want a fairing with the wind blasting your head? Thanks for the video.

Only at Harley dealerships - order one from the parts department- and they should be getting them in a few months! I got mine as a gift from Harley- to review and post videos .

Rockford Fosgate does make a handle bar remote for their stereos, I don't know if it would work.
It’s a generic made mainly for steering wheel. I did get an Amazon generic one - I’ll show in next video

I am quite sure Rockford Fosgate does have a handle bar mount for volume, song skip ect. Thats what Blockhead was saying on his channel anyway.

I'm surprised there's not a Bluetooth volume and track skip handle bar controller for these. Not sure about the USA but Australia you touch your phone at all while riding or driving its a huge fine and points off your licence.

I believe their will be some reduction in the overall experience- but the quality coming out of that system will remain crisp and clear ! Maybe I’ll need to increase the volume to overcome the loud pipes…

If your phone is set up for voice activation, then in theory you should be able to control the radio that way.

If your daughter knows phones then she should know how to set it up for voice activation, from there it's just trying the radio to see if it works
For me I would-be concerned, in hot weather I would get hot with no air going over my helmet.
you complain that the std screen on your helmet then wear a full face to test the new screen ?
The STD windscreen is great and deflects wind from about my eyes height and lower. I used a full face so I can mount my camera on my helmet and record video/ sound
