I’ve used Clearview windshields for the last 20 years on 3 different Road Glides I’ve owned. They are the best hands down!
I have the Large, absolutely love it, can hear the speaker so much better. I have Clearview on my CVO RG , Low Rider ST and my wife’s Switchback. I’ve been buying them since my 08 Ultra.
I also have the Clearview on my ST but in Large. Medium just didn't cut it for me so i decided to go with a large (im 5'10). The sides of the shield that you talk about can be adjusted to go lower just loosen all the screws and slide it down. However, don't go too close since the wind does push the shield and ends up rubbing on your paint which lots of people are complaining about on the Facebook forums.
I had the HD 10 inch windshield and waited for klockwerks to come out with theirs. their 6 inch was too short for me (I'm 6'3") As soon as their 10 inch came out I bought it right away and it's night and day difference! I've heard good things about clearview so I'm sure either option is a solid choice.

Glad it worked out for you. This weekend I tried their Medium and Large windshields, both caused head buffeting (I'm 5'9"). The Large pushed against the wind enough to affect steering. The stock puts more when on me, but at least it's clean air that doesn't affect steering and no buffeting. Was hoping the taller Clearview shields woulds take the wind away, which the Large did, but the buffeting I couldn't deal with.
I felt the exact same way about the medium clearview. Especially above 80mph. I went back to stock. Might try the 8" clockwerks but feel woth there much more drastic recurve it will just be worse than the clearview. Sucks

Great video. Watching your review I just order the same one like yours. hope does a better jobs then Harley . I bought the Harley 8” shield way to much buffering wind on my helmet. The oem one was better but to much wind . Hopefully for buying this clear view resolves my problem. Thx
I rode a Panamerica Special today. JHC. Fastest bike I’ve ever ridden. That 150hp is no joke. On a completely off topic statement. Nice shield. That extra width will be good for wind protection.
The PA is fast and has a great suspension.

Thanks for your honest opinion, instead of saying how its the best, Sandy. Your channel has greatly increased my interest, as yesterday I traded my performance bagger RG for a new Lowrider ST. Between my past injuries and age 🙄 requires a lighter bike. So your mods are greatly appreciated! Any plans on visiting a dealership, Coffee shops or Polar Bears stops? Sandy, use the HD OEM "top / Outer " washers that are already tapered to replace the Square- edged washers " from the Kit. [ You would need to machine the square-edged washers on a lathe to keep the taper consistent for them otherwise, and then possibly need to polish them with methyl- chloride while they are in the lathe to remove the tooling- scratches, etc ]..... Ciao.

The flair is the key to the wind management and removing turbulence from the rider’s area. The extra side material looks good to me - if it was any lower and closer it may scratch your fairing and customers would not be very happy. Good review Sandy.
I got a medium clearview and it made head buffeting worse than the stock sheild. Especially above 75-80
That’s a nice windshield, I’m going to see if the one for Street Glide might be better then clockwerks.

I have a Freedom Shields 11 inch on the way for my CVO Ultra. I'll let you know how I like it when I get it installed and take it on a long ride. I'm hearing they are the best on the market. Where it curves at the top, supposedly there is zero distortion, we'll see! Thanks for the info on these shields, looks good on the scoot!

You what was even better? The Clearview Windshield with the louvered vent. You can get air if you want it, but you can control buffeting by close to 100%. I have it on my Electra Glide Standard. Also, the wide version is awesome, height just below your eyes.

Hi 👋, great review, regarding fitting you might be able to find a small engineering shop that does small project, where they can turn a fitting with a larger head that covers the plastic washer, so it is all in one , with a Allen key/slotted/pozzy drive head , good luck. Ride Safe,

I wear M. I’m 5”9’ 180Lbs , small beer belly. Wasn’t wearing the impact pads( they add a bit tightness factor

Any comment on whether to get the vented or non-vented version? I have the 2022 Low Rider ST El Diablo. Two Harley windscreens both caused whistling noises. I plan to get the largest Clearview. I am 5' 10" tall. My goal is to hear the speakers better and have less wind on the highway, especially in the winter. Thanks

Looks good! I have the XL Clearview on my ST (I'm 6'5''). I was thinking about adding the Rockford. Does that require different hardware for the wind screen?

@Holy shiFt. Please, tell me. Does the wider windshield keep the wind from around your ears. My ears are sensitive and ring from wind noise. If it keeps the turbulence from your ears, I'd like to know. I'm a big fan of Clearview Shields. I've bought 3 of them from CV. This would be my 4th and I would like to get it right the first time...again. Thanks in advance.

People were having fitment issues.. but that was because they were getting windshields me at for the faring either with or without the audio system.. some were getting the wrong one… but if you got the right one, I guess they are ok

i just received my Large shield after almost 6 weeks. Clearshield told me 18-20 days for production. UPS took almost an week to ship it. I could have walked from Colorado quicker. First ride, It hits me right in the top of the helmet, lots of buffeting. I am 5ft. 8in. I saw you were 5ft 9-10in, i thought it would be ok.. I'm going out again today, without much hope. I really had no issues with the stock windscreen, I just wanted more wind protection.

Nope !
The full face helmets are a better choice. That tiny bucket 🪣 cap serves no protection. It just keeps you from getting a summon.
I don't know if the windshield is that effective, seeing the collar of your jacket flapping in the wind?
Just go to Harley and see what kind of hardware they have available for you. They also have aftermarket pop arts and hardware books 📚 in the parts department.

This is dark enough. You get it too dark, you will miss some potholes etc.
