Little late now but Rockford fosgate has a good video out of this process on the low rider st showing how to pull the pin right out the back, they didn't even use any special tools. So if anyone is reading this after the fact it should help. Great video as always!

Look into “chubby buttons”, saw another TH-camr using it to control the Audio. Straps to your bars and much better than fighting with your phone while riding!

Good video Sandy! Sounds great for only a 250 watt system. Not sure why Rockford Fosgate did not include a handlebar mount Bluetooth controller. Especially at $1020. Wow! I'll mention that should they demo at Myrtle Beach bike week. Ride safe ride often and keep motovlogging! Glen

My bike has the bassani exhaust and I need earplugs for it. I wonder if this stereo will be loud enough to play over my exhaust note.
Good question- but I can tell you this is an extremely loud system
Is the base ok at higher volumes?
Good deal on the setup, sounds great. But Harley Davidson needs to produce hands controls for this bike, fooling around, Looking down at your phone while riding can be disastrous. They should have provided controls with the kit for SAFETY PURPOSES. Love your content, Happy riding 👍🏽

I think you have a communication device on your helmet if it's blue tooth enabled then you may be able to control your radio with your voice.

Just get a Bluetooth controller, you can put on your bars. They all work pretty good. Good ish though

2 questions for you! 1) how’s the base on the unit since the speakers are 5.5” only? 2) since bike doesn’t have traction control system how’s the rear tire grip under full throttle?

Harley is supposed to have an app that has auto volume control. That is according to Ryan Urlacher, in a 2 May video on the ST.

Uh that's not how you insert the new wire. The center of the coupler has a white base plate with 2 larger holes dead center. Use these holes to lift the white base plate up 1/8 in. Do not pull it completely out. Above each pin there is a small hole used for releasing the lock. Use a 16 Ga. needle (Leather Craft) or the proper pin tool and insert it into the small hole. Using needle nose plyers, pull the plug out the back. Insert your new wire and push the white base plate back down. FYI for you DYI followers.

I just bought this bike tonight…. I traded my street Bob.. I have to get used to the lowrider.. it rides different.. the street Bob handle so well.. so easy to uturn in a tight spot.. after a thousand miles on the street Bob I felt like a pro rider.. now I’m back to a beginner to intermediate level…
