- I believe my setup is complete after installing these floorboards by Harley Davidson. It took me a while to figure out my desired out come and sourced the parts from around the world. Finally installed them - and they are awesome !

Thank You Sandy for the parts list. Coming off 18yrs of riding HD touring bikes, this is exactly the direction I want to go in with my mine. Iam making mine into a mini RG :)
The floorboards look great. Harley-Davidson should make this an over-the-counter kit.

Lol they do… the heritage floor boards and forward controls bolt right up…. None of this is necessary… don’t let anyone tell you different… I verified it 2 weeks ago..

What kit? I see a chrome floor board mount kit but no kit to convert pegs to floorboards. @@drainmonkeys385

Hello, great job on the video. I have the forward controls on mine that the dealer worked in but they, of course, put in the black set which has the smaller brake lever. I don't suppose you have a part number or happen to know what the larger brake pedal is that I would need so I can swap that part out itself?

Hi m8 great vids I also want to fit floorboards to my low rider st I bought a foreward control set on e bay so that will give me some of the parts but now I need to brackets for the boards the actual boards the brake pedal and the bracket for the shifter what other parts do I need on top of that I saw you did a list of the parts with some crossed of in red as not needed is that because you had fitted the forwards first In which case I can just order all the bits. like you I like the rubber mounts on floorboards but I also love the heel shifter so I’ll also be adding that.

Hay Sandy, love you work. Just picked up my ST a week ago and have already ordered my forward controls and crash guard, been caught in the rain on 2 occasions and noticed the water beads at the corner of the fairing just above the small wind deflectors which drenched my knees. With your connections can someone make a longer deflector that would protect the rider from rain. It could still be fixed in position with th 2 existing screws but just come up higher. Why is everthing on back order here in Australia, make the parts in America.

which brake lever is this? im stuck with my mini floorboards from thrashin but feel like all i need to do is get a better brake lever arm vs the stock one from the forwards. The stock one is 100% bad with the boards i have and cant be fully leveraged. My HD shop is quite confused on how to source/find the parts to make this setup work

sandy what are those part numbers you have near the 9 min mark? i'm trying to do the same thing you did. i had my dealer moved my mids to forwards and i have the trashin min-boards but not happy with the setup. 1) I CANNOT use that stock rear brake pedal which means i cant ride my bike and feel safe. so the FIRST thing i need to do is change the brake pedal to the one you put on yours. but there are about 30 parts and i cant tell which part is the rear black brake lever. i need to replace that first to see if i can live with the mini boards. i cant seem to find a lot of those part numbers when i google them. are they all HD part numbers? if so do you know specifically which one is the rear brake lever ? thanks !

What about sportys?! Can u tell me how I can find something like that for my sporty iron 1200 nothing special, I've got some mods on it, but I'm looking for some good boards instead of a peg and, also I'd really like some pointers on a crash bar. Just found your channel today, hat tip, I get the struggle mate. I've only had my sporty for 3 years and I'm ready for some more upgrades, I've got apes on it, big sucker, FP3 , I need some pointers on a sissy bar and a crash bar if you have any for me friend! Beautiful LOW RIDER, that would def be my next move.

if i install those floorboards do i have to install the forward control kit first? seems like ill be spending money on forward control brackets when i would have to changed them for the floorboard brackets.
No ! These floorboards will fit on the stock mid controls
They are great but why are you change it after you´ve had the Thrashin Mini Floorboards? I ask because i´m at the moment between these two and i think the Thrashin are much nicer from the look and the original ones may be more on the comfort side. good video. the only thing, I think a lot of people get the terminology incorrect. they are footboards, not floor-boards. they don't refer to floorpegs. just food for thought.

You dont need to find the limited addition parts. These are just the Heritage floor boards and related parts from the Heritage. They come black stock now. Do you have a parts list? What did it cost you?

I ordered the complete Softtail Heritage forward controls/floorboards and the dealer installed them. total cost was about $1000.
what partslist did you use? which floorboards did you go with?
Soak the rubber in really hot water makes them more malleable- we know in the UK ! 😂. And they’re Footboards , not Floorboards 😊

My dealer in New Jersey (I don't want to throw them under the bus because they've been very good) refused to sell me a Heritage floorboard kit for my ST, citing ground clearance. Evidently, they don't want any association with liability if the hard mounts lever the tires off the pavement.
New boards are nice. How much you want for the old thrashin ones lol

You can put the heritage forward controls on it… $600 go yo the dealer . You can order it… guaranteed.. you’ll need all the brackets… but they will bolt right up..

@@HOLYSHIFT Hi, just doing the same, pity I didn't see this first though as I had to work out all the part numbers myself, the Fat Boy brackets are a little wider than the Heritage - hence the different part numbers, I decided on the Heritage ones to try and limit scratching ;-)

@@HOLYSHIFT thanks for the reply, I like the forward controls but I think mid will suit me better since I’m only 5’ 6”. I might even have to put on a set of heritage bars and lean them back a bit. That bike is definitely in my future and I will be putting boards on it.
