      I paid $26k for 2019 RGS in 2020. Had 3k miles on it. CAME with the 114. I've got about 14k in upgrades and I'm about to throw the stage 2 SS cam chest kit on it. Its well worth the money.

    Just picked up a used el Diablo from an "old-guy's" collection that was purchased by the local stealership. $30,000 out the door and it had a hair over 700 miles. I remember buying my 06 Ultra Classic w/custom paint and several chrome goodies made in Taiwan for less than that. But oh well, it is a very pretty bike and the seat is surprisingly comfortable. So is it worth $30,000 out the door??? Well, I wrote the check, so I guess that answers that question.

      @EdwardNagel 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@GarrettAnderson-d8d Well, I don't use it for long rides, so I can't tell you how it would do. I can tell you that for long rides it could really use a bigger windshield and a more comfortable seat. But for a 2-3 hour ride? It's fine. I like it a lot. I have replaced the seat with a Saddleman Step Seat and I softened up the Harley suspension as far as it would go... but I'm an old guy, so you can't really go by that either. In all fairness, I also have a Fat Boy and a new CVO Road Glide ST< and I can tell you, the Low Rider ST is a light ( comparitively speaking ), powerful, very fun to ride bike.

      For the price of the sound system ($1200) I can buy another low mileage Goldwing. Of course the Goldwing's not going to get me lucky with the ladies, at least not the good ones. Maybe some poor old toothless, woman would ride if I offered her a pound of weed - but that would still be iffy. Plus, why would I want another Goldwing anyway? They're not comfortable, only get 50mpg on regular, don't handle, won't do over 136 mph, and they're ugly. Tbh, I'm ashamed to be seen on JapCrap. I could buy a real bike on credit, but I'm a pathetic cheapskate who doesn't show status. Probably going to die alone.

      Correct. People who ride motorcycles as transportation, do not ride such bikes. These bikes for their owners are like boats or airplanes, they are taken out sometimes when the weather is good for a few hours or days per year. It's not unusual for a Harley owner to have one particular bike for use at a single rally per year.

My first Roadglide was a little over 28k the one I have now is a 2020 commemorative in billiard blue and white with a historic style number 1 on the tank. It was a little over 32 k. I don't know why the El Diablo bike is really in the icon line either. It seems it would fit more the artist line they had that was also special paint and numbered . With today's rider tech I'd just assume get an ElectraGlide Standard and a 2 pack of Cardo Bold. A lot less money , way more bike, and radio/ intercom/ hands free phone and usable bags. Not to mention way less electrical issue potential by not having all that extra tech built into the motorcycle. Besides audio in the helmet will always sound better.

    Apparently, you have to reserve them on the Harley website, so it won't actually be a dealer ripoff racket bike.
    Now, I'll agree that I'm a bit disappointed with it, too... but in my case, it's down to what you get for the money. For $6K more than the standard ST, they should have gone further. Maybe a full stage 1 kit, LED lighting all around, and a nice custom-stitched saddle to match that badass paint job. But I feel it falls a bit short for the money.

    Wonder what it'll be worth used a couple years down the road. Folks with that kind of money don't ride much and lose interest once they figure out bike riding requires tons of practice to be safely enjoyed. Losing 60 or 70% of what they paid for is no big deal for them once they need room in their garage for the new Taycan or M8. Be patient and buy it in December that year. Possibly in a snow storm lol.

I see people complaining constantly that they don’t have new models and they are just churning out the same old stuff, or complaining about the money, and it’s not really quality video content. I got a new road glide a few months ago and Gator treated me really well, essentially removing the over sticker costs, and folks are in there buying new Harleys all the time and modifying them. I don’t really understand the disappointment or the outright hate. If you don’t like them, don’t shop for or buy them, that’s also part of the way it works.
