My point about the other person buying the wrong car for their preferences still stands regardless of reliability concerns anyhow. Jakub: tip for the seat belts. Don't reach up over your left shoulder with your left or right hand. Instead, reach down to the floor with your left hand and bring the belt up over your hip.
@@TheStraightPipes What I’m suggesting is to reach down (just above where the belt attaches to the floor) instead of reaching up at shoulder height. I find that much easier in coupes where the upper belt mount is further back. I do that in my Pontiac Solstice and my daughter’s Kia Forte Koup.
Fox body definitely sounds better. The new 5.0’s don’t sound the same as the ones in the fox body to me. These motors are twice as fast (or more) but it loses something on its journey to efficiency. Keep doing what you’re doing, Gents. The formula is kicking ass.
The blank button is to disable the auto on/off but the 2024 models did not get that ‘feature’ due to chip shortage or something like that. It’s blank in my A10 car as well.
Best mustang ever! I still rather get a Corvette! Now, if they made it AWD, then I would buy this car! Imagine an AWD Mustang, it could be faster than a GTR with some special mods of course!
Mustangs are always just SO COOL. Like, normally I only care about handling and sports cars like the Toyota GR 86, which is my favorite car in the world. BUT I SEE THIS MUSTANG WITH THAT V8 ROAR, MANUAL TRANSMISSION, AND THAT LONG BONET AND NOTHING FEELS THE SAME. Like this is the most masculine car ever 😂 Even big engine things like Ferraris and Lambos don't look as powerful as this 😂 This is great and I love it. 🔥 Also, I don't care about the GT500 either, for me it's all about the GT, Dark Horse and the GT350

Jakub, I also had the same issues but with my right shoulder. Couldn't reach behind my back and was incredibly painful to lift my hand above my head. I thought I tore my rotator cuff and needed surgery but turns out it was just frozen. I went and did PT for 90 days and now it's 95% better. No more pain in any position but I can't reach up my back as high as I can with my left hand. Highly recommend if you haven't tried PT already.
I also had a rotator cuff injury on my right arm about 2 1/2 months ago. The first couple of days were sheer agony! Like horrific levels of pain. I never knew this level of pain was even possible/ Doc gave me a 5 day course of steriods and on the first night it was WAY better. I'm also having PT sessions once per week and it's been helping. Still don't have full mobility but I'm hoping this will eventually heal and get back to normal.
I finally test drove a 24 GT manual. It had the recaro seats…there’s no way someone who weighs over 160 lbs is comfortable in them lol. The one that I drove was a performance pack with the active exhaust…I previously owned a widebody scatpack shaker manual…the Mustang lacked the low end torque that u get in the challenger. The MT82 transmission wasn’t horrible. And the exhaust sounded ok…they had two manual dark horses also. But they were buried to far in…so I didn’t bother trying to test drive one. But overall. I’d get another challenger before I’d get a mustang. It’s a nice car and all. But def not worth the price IMO…
You guys are great to watch & listen to. The DH does come with Magna-ride without the Handling Package. But if you desire the Mustang to be a fantastic sports car you should get the Handling Package option. Note: I ordered my Dark Horse back on 6 April 2023, I am still waiting to get my car after 13 months. The DH is an amazing car. It is now the best braking car ever tested by Car and Driver magazine!!! Nice review and I always enjoy your videos‼️Cheers Gentlemen‼️👊💪🇨🇦🇺🇸❤️
Price is gross…. It’s supposed to be the working man’s sports car. Ford is flipping the middle finger to the middle class. But honestly I’d rather buy a used Camaro anyway.
Price is outta control for sure. To be fair to FORD though, avg price of a new car in America in 2018 (Pre Covid) was $38k per Kelly Blue Book. Avg price of a new car in 2023 was $49k per KBB. That’s the AVERAGE price. Which means, most people in America won’t even qualify for a loan for a new car in 2023 using this data. However, there is good news from FORD. MSRP of a Mustang GT, a 2024 with 480 HP and that beautiful rumble is less than $42k. You can even get a GT premium with leather and better wheels for $46,480. LESS than the avg price of a new car. And this car is far from avg. Additionally, Old school Boss NINES or Shelby’s from the 60’s have always cost more than just the GT. I understand your sentiments but FORDstill Priced the iconic Mustang, with the V8, for less than the avg price of a new car. Camaros are great cars too but the fact they are dead, now for a second time tells me they weren’t priced right as they didn’t sell. Meanwhile the Mustang is still here. Be happy FORD is still making these monsters. I don’t blame FORD, I blame Biden…

@@daryl9799I think that means you just bought the wrong kind of car honestly. 350 is a driver's car, the 500 is the mash the pedal and demolish tires machine. Definitely more appeal in the gt500 to older buyers.
@@zenkoz3158gt350 is unreliable and a gamble with that engine that’s why there is so many available engines n the used market.
@@joshlamar1990 if you can afford that car, the preventative maintenance and fixes aren't that significant. It's not the entire engine either, just the oiling system. If you want what the gt350 is then you don't have many other directly comparable options. My point about the other person buying the wrong car for their preferences still stands regardless of reliability concerns anyhow. Also I doubt that the gt500 is significantly more reliable, it's more likely they're just not being driven nearly as hard because they're more of a handful and not as rewarding to drive on a road course.
@@zenkoz3158 your wrong I have buddies that own a racetrack company. Drive exotic in cresson Texas they have a gt500 in there fleet. It’s is very reliable no issues after being beat up on the track I haven’t heard anything bad about the gt500.
Sorry to say big J that the exhaust on the dark horse does sound better, but, the fox body still has some pretty good noises.
I can't with that digital interior!
I don't really like mustangs but this one I love
Fox 5.0 aounds better than the coyote 5.0, no question
There has to be some aftermarket spring-loaded clip, similar to a high end bungee cord, that can fix the seatbelt issue. Or a 2” self-tapping screw through an appropriate colored hard plastic tubing.
Just busting chops but that looks a lot like my 2017 Camaro SS. I broke out the original sticker that I saved when I bought her once you guys stated the price…
tremec tr6060 with rev match
Dual mode exhaust
Performance suspension (magnaride)
6 speed manual
LSD
No lift shift from factory
Total vehicle with options: $39840
I have 60k miles on her and have had zero problems and she still pulls like a freight train. As much as I poke fun, I’d take this thing in a heartbeat. Except that price…
As a mustang guy, Camaros are super underrated. Especially with the recent stang styling updates, and how long and boaty they look in general, I've been appreciating Camaros more every time I see them.
500hp out of a NA 5.0 is insane!
The DH is very fun to drive and push it. The Blue Ember is just crazy good looking. I love mine.
My 2021 GT Premium PP1 with Magne Ride has almost same specs as the Dark Horse, and I bought it for 30k with 45k miles, 2 owners car.
No.. it doesn’t
Great review! I own a carbonized gray 6-speed dark horse, and completely agree with seat belt issue. I absolutely love the car otherwise.
I knew I wasn’t crazy
Tip for the seat belts. Don't reach up over your left shoulder with your left or right hand. Instead, reach down to the floor with your left hand and bring the belt up over your hip.
Jakub: tip for the seat belts. Don't reach up over your left shoulder with your left or right hand. Instead, reach down to the floor with your left hand and bring the belt up over your hip.
I reach with my left in every car. The belt is so much farther back on this car
There’s no space with these seats and the door panel. Gonna destroy my watch
Big fan of the Mustang GT (have one) but at this price I would look into the Vette.
Fox body definitely sounds better. The new 5.0’s don’t sound the same as the ones in the fox body to me. These motors are twice as fast (or more) but it loses something on its journey to efficiency. Keep doing what you’re doing, Gents. The formula is kicking ass.
🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤
What a beautiful horse
The dead pixels in the interior shots had me thinking my monitor was dying lmao
Good Review... again 😎
Great presentation guys! Jacob, how does this Dark Horse compare to a C6 Z06/427?
Super cool color
The blank button is to disable the auto on/off but the 2024 models did not get that ‘feature’ due to chip shortage or something like that. It’s blank in my A10 car as well.
I just bought one a month ago and love it. Great video, keep up the great work!
Like this is the most masculine car ever 😂 Even big engine things like Ferraris and Lambos don't look as powerful as this 😂
This is great and I love it. 🔥
Also, I don't care about the GT500 either, for me it's all about the GT, Dark Horse and the GT350
Mustangs are the most mid performance cars out there... its a freakin Mustang... and that launch looked boring AF lmao even Yuri wasn't the least bit excited.. look at his face hahahhahahahaha anyone who pays 120K for a Mustang is absolutely nuts. Unless you are rich af then by all means.
3:34 That double downshift was CLEAN
no crowds were hurt in the making of this video.
I’ve done months of PT and 8 months of lifting in the gym and a cortisone shot. Not getting any better
@@TheStraightPipes Oh damn. That sucks man. Well hopefully something will help it eventually.
@@TheStraightPipesget referred to an orthopedic surgeon and get a proper assessment
@@unclerenLol like that would help. Doctors don't know shit nowadays.
But def not worth the price IMO…
wish you could get the 2.7 or 3.5 ecoboost in a mustang
We did a ride along in a Dark Horse at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Dark Horse is impressive!!
Dropped the ball on having the front facing mustang emblem in the front. It would make it look unique in the mustang lineup.
The UAW Strike stopped 3-4 months of production on the Dark Horse plus since the end of November right after the UAW STRIKE ended the DH cars with the Handling package went on “restraint” so still waiting!!! The DH is an amazing car. It is now the best braking car ever tested by Car and Driver magazine!!!
Nice review and I always enjoy your videos‼️Cheers Gentlemen‼️👊💪🇨🇦🇺🇸❤️
Hopefully you get it soon. Watch out for that tramlining!
@@TheStraightPipes I talked to Steeda guys so I know what to get to prevent tram-lining even with the big front tires of 305/30/R19. 😄

Such a badass car. Loved this review of pure American muscle
Price is gross…. It’s supposed to be the working man’s sports car. Ford is flipping the middle finger to the middle class. But honestly I’d rather buy a used Camaro anyway.
It’s not meant to be affordable. Its highest trim of the S650. You can get a GT for under 45k still.
@@adamb3129 should still be reasonable. The price is dumb.
I understand your sentiments but FORDstill
Priced the iconic Mustang, with the V8, for less than the avg price of a new car. Camaros are great cars too but the fact they are dead, now for a second time tells me they weren’t priced right as they didn’t sell. Meanwhile the Mustang is still here. Be happy FORD is still making these monsters. I don’t blame FORD, I blame Biden…
@@sunburn8640 it’s not Biden, it was Covid and everyone around the world is in the exact same boat. It’s not just an American problem sadly.
IF you look again Mag ride is standard on the Dark Horse.
It’s a manual
Test drove one recently, the sound is amazing. The tremec is so smooth, i didn't buy because i don't like the way it looks in person
I’m sorry but 65k for a Gen 3 refresh is absurd. That’s GT350 territory.
I’ve seen 24 GT’s for 62k fully loaded. I think prices are ridiculous all the way around. I remember when the 03 Cobra was 36k brand new.
@@SandorWalkup even adjusted for inflation 36k brand new is 61k now. And that’s just a GT now even the dark horse.
@@169abrTrue but the 03 GT was a two valve with 260hp and the Cobra was a supercharged 4 valve with 390hp. The 24 GT and Dark Horse are essentially the same engine with a 16 hp difference.
If you get the best of every option it's that price, but mustangs start in the 30k's
@@tomfromeyer6230Very true and the low 30k range is excellent for a 24 GT but I’m an old guy and I want every option available.
Why do you need launch control on a manual, you got a clutch?

I live in Alberta, Canada best thing that I ever did was trade in those old summer tires. for Pirelli P zeros all weather tires.
Yuri looking like Magnum PI
2:28 again the dual throttle bodies aren’t for extra flow, it’s just to keep the flow the 3rd gen cars had because now they have those stupid carbon traps on the intakes. The EPA is actually worried about the emissions that escape your intake while the car is off. 🤦🏼♂️
It's way too expensive!drop it 30k and we'll talk
Go and talk to ur great grandfather for that price 😂😂
I know everybody hates white, but it would look amazing in white!
I hate....HATE...the digital gauge cluster! The way it's just a tacked on screen.
