i used these before,my stock springs arent the cut type so had to put these, quick fun way of getting low..had no problems at all, 2 on each spring and you good to go,thats if you not racing or going over humps fast, tbh i enjoyed the bouncy effect
yep,,but mine were abit different than these but just dont drive over bumpy stuff too fast, and make sure you tight them hard,2 clamps opposite each other on one spring in a way that ey dont touch your car body if that makes sense, but wont get so low as cutting springs :/
and you might get em squeaky noises but i honestly dont care about that my sound system replaces that sound xD, i dont really drive fast, and makes my car look better, atleast for now till i find ways to cut my springs or save for lowering springs and cut them, and i took off my front springs to put them clamps on,just to be safe
You didn't have to remove the front wheels?and why did it take you so long on the first wheel?and r they still holding up? Im asking bc im about to go get the same for my endeavor but im gonna do 4 on each coil..to make sure its safer..ok u do have to remove wheels
Yes I am going to use this method for a temporary fix on level in the truck but yes it is true clamps for spring one on each side to evenly lower them down and keep the pressure the same time that you lower it so you lower one then you go to the other one you lower that one when you go to the other one you lower that one so on so forth. I wish you the best brother go buy yourself another set of clubs and redo it two clams per spring and yes Jack your car up on cement. Do not mean any disrespect I am also going to do the same thing on a 4 x 4 suburban Z 71 go on and let the comments begin for those off-roader freaks!
These clamps can change the driving caracteristics from car. And when you load the car and the wheels drop in potholes the moved around the coils??? Answer me plz because I want to instal to my car!
Anstasis Golf2 you dont have to worry about the clamps moving aroung the coil because no matter how much weigh you have in the car the coil never compresses all the way. But you will notice a different handling

So I’m thinking about doing this to my Mazda 3 to drop it slightly like 05” to 1”maximum using 2 clamps per spring, you think I should do it? How do you feel about it to lower the car slightly
I’m not all to sure on doing it this way I got a 2017 Mazda 6 and want to lower it the same amount but using just clamps unless it’s some kind of high grade unbreakable steel it looks like it could break shoot off on a wrong bump and with all the force of the coil break shit.
isnt better to use two jacks one to raise the car up and the other to raise the whole suspension using jack under the rotors, with wheels off? i said this because it had to be hard to screw the clamp screws the way you did it
Don’t listen to Ehvyn, if one pops, it will force the spring to its “normal” form, and with the amount of force bc of it randomly popping will cause force to the wheel and it’ll most likely cause you to lose sudden traction, and then you’ll lose control. Don’t even use these stupid ass clamps. They’re dangerous.
@@sirenz_ you're an idiot. It will simply return the wheel to stock height. It won't break anyway, considering they're made from mild non-hardened steel. There are NO cons to running spring clamps. The only thing it hurts is your feelings for some odd reason.
Bro did this on my 2014 kia forte sedan, on the rear dropped it everything it can go with the clamps but it hits hard on like bumps or something it that supposed to happen or did i do something wrong?
It's bc ur spring rate is still the same witch meas that ur car thinks it at stock height so the weal will try to travel the same but lowering springs are stiffer so it don't do that I just rides a little harder
When you forget that that spring rate is a thing, and you use these stupid things that shouldn’t even be a thing.🙃 Sure it lowers the car super cheap, but it’s dangerous.
Compression of a spring is dangerous but only when you compress them enough. Do you know Forsure what happens if one malfunctions or do you have a prediction? I bet none have malfunctioned for someone to know. But everyone has they own way of thinking
Hey so I used these and I still have a huge gap but I’m afraid of tightening more because it’s getting hard to turn did you encounter this? And do I turn more?
You can lift up the suspension by jacking from the lower control arm to your desired hight. Then remove the wheels and tighten the clamps. Make sure to put red lock tight so it doesn't come off.
1973primetime hi the car looks nice but it rides pretty bad it bounces all over when you go over bumps😂😂. i just cut the spring 2 weeks ago it looks nice and it rides better than stock.
