The cavitation is from a non oem fluid being used. They spend just a few million in research making the block and components nutral with the fluids. When you chuck sone cheap stuff in it physically eats at the engine. When i got mine the first thing was a coolant dump and thermostat change oem stuff used to replace both. Oil and coolant are not to be toyed with
I'm so glad I found your channel. Now how can I get in touch with you other than on here please? I just replaced the radiator and serpentine belt on my 1996 Nissan Altima SE 2.4L it has 128132 miles. Radiator blew and belt broke while I waa going down the road got it towed to house changed them out and got a leak now from same dang place as on here 🤣🤣 crap happens.
Bummer that's not good. You may be able to interchange some parts to repair goose-neck "Thermostat Assembly Housing"; Sentry's, Altima's KA24DE 2.4L were used from 1993-1997. In the video the thermostat housing repaired was built from Aug 95 - Jan 96. Nissan used three different Thermostat Housing Assemblies for the KA24DE 2.4L. (1993-1997) If you can't find just the goose neck alone or housing is un-repairable , try to find used "Complete Thermostat Housing Assembly" from eBay, local junk yard, or online auto parts. In my shop parts like that break if you look at them wrong. Most of the time we will get a good used part from wreaking yard and have no trouble after that. Please let me know which repair route you took to get sealed up again.
