Mike mentioned an SI belt recommended by Deborah Riczo, a physical therapist, that developed an approach to treating pelvic girdle and sacroiliac pain. If you are interesting in hearing from Deborah on treating SI pain, check out her interview with Bob and Mike here th-cam.com/video/qBBbck1xeRo/w-d-xo.html

I've had SI joint pain for the last year, every day, all day long. Somedays, i couldn't get out of bed or walk.
No chyropractor, doctor or physical therapist i saw was able to fix it.
And then i did your first exercise... TWICE... and it's been 3 days now .... and the pain IS COMPLETELY GONE!
I just want to thank you so much for this, you guys litterally saved my life with this.

I’m so thankful I came across your video. I’ve been struggling for 3 years now after an accident. No one could understand why it hurt more for me to walk or bicycle, etc. I can’t drive for very long or stand or sit for too long. Thank you passing your knowledge to all of us pain sufferers out there. What you described was me! When I turn in bed, I can feel the SI joint rubbing - Only happened after the accident. And thank you for acknowledging that one should only do these exercises if they don’t cause pain. PT is so geared towards the no pain no gain mindset.

You couldn’t have scheduled this at a better time for me, lol. I bent down and wham! My low back went out and had to have my daughter get me to the chiropractor. I am now upright, thanks to my great chiro, but still having muscle spasms, so this video is perfect timing. Thank you, as always. I love you guys!

I have a lot of back and neck issues, and PT is what I need. Some issues will never be resolved, but I can use stretches and exercise to help minimize pain. I have terrible sciatica and I managed to make it much worse on machines, but I'm not a PT, really didn't know what I was doing and I ended up hurting myself more.
The most helpful exercises and stretches you have shown on this video is the one where you are laying down and pulling your knee up to your chest, in combination with your knee on the stool and sorta moving it around. The belt does offer relief, but the exercise and stretches offer long term relif.

My physical therapist showed me the muscle energy technique where I kick against the wall with my right leg and push my left leg up into my hands to resist. Sometimes she needs to do myofacial releases techniques. That’s for my rotation and inflare/outflares, but mostly the main issue I have lately is my left ishial tuberosity feels like it’s pushing into my skin when I’m sitting.

I'm in pain now. I have bone on bone knees. Due to accident when I was 15, I had menisci removed from them both when I was 18 and 19. Right knee, both sides, left knee inner side. I don't walk well these days, but praise God He keeps me walking when I need to. I asked about shoe liner replacements Thursday last week. Was shown a machine that evaluated me standing and walking pressure on my foot bottom. The machine recommended a certain orthotic. I started trying it out on Friday morning about half day. It did seem to change my hair and body posture some and I felt pulling in right front and inner thigh. Well, I repeated on Saturday a while. By evening Saturday, without the orthotic, I was in great pain with right leg at front and inner thigh. Very tight feeling. I had to use my arm to get leg up into bed. Are there exercises I can do to relieve that tightness? It's intense, walking is terrible. My cane only helps some. My left knee is giving off audible pops with each step. Also, I am wondering if the orthotic is harming or if in long run it may help. Could it be that by correcting a long time issue, the orthotic has just worked muscles too much, but in long run might help?

I tried using the cane with both legs. So i has to put a pillow between my leg and the cane so I could push through. I'll try the belt when I'm standing, working in the kitchen.( holy moly I've gotten soft!)

Wish I could get to the bottom of my lower back issue. My backs 'gone' 4 times in the last year. One of those happened during a gentle walk. Bad enough that I can't lay down, stand or sit for long. After 4/5 days I feel bubbles in my spine and the pain starts to ease. Dr keeps glossing over the fact I have hypermobility syndrome.
