Really impressive Rally Andy. Love those Evo Lancers in real life scale, and this is no different . You really did great showing how well it handles the gravel drive and it’s of road prowess! Thanks for sharing your run with it brother!👋🏻👍🏻😆😋✌🏻
Hey 👋 cheers glad you liked it. This kit has definitely made me appreciate the Lancers more , it is a real looker of a car. The TT02 is a cool chassis especially for its price point and you can do lots to it. Cheers for watching
I've been waiting for this to come out for a few years now, pretty much since I sold my real one (which was yellow). The details are great, just like I remembered. Thanks for the demo mate!
Thank you , very pleased on how it turned out. Yeah smoke windows would have looked cool 😎 but for a car I’m not keeping i didn’t want to buy more paint than I had to. Thanks for checking it out.
Hi Jim, cool which Evo did you have? I think Red was a good choice in the end, would have liked the yellow but Red was good as well. Looked quite nippy as well just running around on the torque tuned motor. Cheers
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 No Evo...but I had 2 different Eclipse awd turbos and a Starion.Very fast and easy to tune cars. Best bud had an MR. Really miss owning them. I could probably build a 4g63T blindfolded...lol.
Not as good as your run videos fella ;) but I’m pretty pleased with how this one turned out, Tamiya have got the body just right and the red turned out to be a good choice :) cheers Dom
The red does look nice. Consider backing it with silver or white then the sun won't shine through. Do Tamiya make a cockpit and driver internal part for it? Would look great imo.
Cheers Neil, great tip and one I’d have probably done but since I’m not keeping the kit I didn’t want the extra expense on of paints. Cheers for commenting and watching
Hi Mark, given the choice again I’d still go for yellow especially if ivv B was keeping it for myself, but the mica Red paint has swayed me alot ;) food for thought 💭
Hi Alex , it’s one of those things that comes down to preference, when it comes to cars I’m just messing about with I’m not to bothered what the radio is. If I’m racing I like to use a stick controller. But I also use wheel type as well. For the Lancer vid I was just using a basic Etronix pulse/fly sky wheel/trigger controller. There about £35/40 UK. Hope that helps
Hello , thanks for your support :) glad your enjoying the channel. I’m really sorry I can’t remember the PS number but it’s called Mica Red that should help you find the PS number . Thank you
I may have to get one of these! When I saw it I immediately saw it was an oversized Fast and Furious style graphic down both sides of it. As corny as it sounds I kind of want that!! It looks good as a stock car as well but I feel like it is screaming for an extra tacky set of graphics and bright paint job on it!! Thanks for show it off!
Hey Addam the body is so nice on this and like I said in the video I was never a Lancer Evo fan, but Tamiya did a great job on The body. I think besides the obvious rally style it could be made to look like an FAF/drift styled racer, not my thing personally but I bet it wound loom damn cool. My pleasure and cheers for watching :)
Hi there , I used a full can of paint the colour is Mica Red but not sure on the PS number of it. If I did it again I’d back it either in white or black after using the red , cheers
Hello Pete, cheers yeah it would have been awesome with a driver /cockpit. I might have been tempted to do that if it had been a kit I was keeping as the detail would have been really cool. Thank you pete
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 I've been out of the hobby for some time but would like to get back into it again. Still have my Tamiya Toyota Prerunner & Golf VR6 but always wanted a Mitsubishi lancer Evo.

These TT02 chassis are excellent and hit way above their price point.
Cheers :) I do agree, whilst not my favourite kit they do represent good value for money and you can make them go very well for what they are :)
Love your channel Andy! Thanks for all the great content. Keep on RCing!
My pleasure David, thanks for watching and your support . Glad your liked the running video
It is an awesome looking bodyshell! Excellent video as always, nice one!
Cheers Barry it’s certainly a looker, looks great zipping about , never a Evo fan but that certainly swayed me ;)
I've been waiting for this to come out for a few years now, pretty much since I sold my real one (which was yellow). The details are great, just like I remembered. Thanks for the demo mate!
No worries my pleasure ;) it’s a very detailed body and Tamiya got the looks bang on with it
Yellow 5s are worth a fortune now
Looks very smart Andy👍You could smoke the windows 😉
Thank you , very pleased on how it turned out. Yeah smoke windows would have looked cool 😎 but for a car I’m not keeping i didn’t want to buy more paint than I had to. Thanks for checking it out.
Looks and runs great Andy
Thank you very much, I’m pleased with how it turned out , the colour really stands out on this one. Cheers for watching :)
Excellent video take it club racing
Thank you and cheers for watching , I actually sold this model but info race in a stock Tamiya class with a TA02 chassis
As a big Mitsu fan (and previous owner). I was stoked to see this zipping around. Big fan of the red!

Looks lovely Andy,I think red was the rite choice 👌, I like it alot 😍
Cheers Carl, Thanks for watching :) glad you like the colour, very happy with it considering it wasn’t my first choice ;)
There you are matching your T-Shirt with your RC again. You can no longer tell me this is random 😆 All the best Andy 👍🏼
Ha ha, 😬 oops maybe it is a recurring theme after all ;) cheers mate 👍
Looks awesome mate . Always one of my favourite cars . The red looks superb 😊👍

Hey Alex cheers for watching much appreciated
Cool rc and awesome run
Thank you Sir, appreciate it, glad you liked it.
Looks really good in that mica red, nice run.
Hello :) hope you well. I think it was a good colour choice in the end , thanks for watching
Same color as mine😊. Chassis still in the box, been waiting for parts for ages. Royalmail still got them.
Hi Xandro, cheers for checking the video out. Fingers crossed your parts arrive soon :) Mica Red was a cool colour to go for in the end.
Hey Andy. Awesome video! I was wondering if you used the PS paint on the wing? Or did you use something else?
I no did use ps paint on the wing and to be honest I’d recommend using the proper ts style paint it will last and look better ;)

nice one Andy
now I can't decide on the best colour for mine.. yellow or red? hmmm

Great vid Andy what radio system would you recommend for this kit ?

Thanks

Awsome
Thank you 🙏
Hi, which colour red is this?
It’s Tamiya (ps paint) mica red, can’t remember the paint code though, sorry
I like the blk round the windows how did u do that ?
Hi there it’s done with decals in the kit, you just cut them Out carefully and place them
Around the clear windows :)
I want this RC 😢
It’s a nice looking thing, must admit I always preferred the Impreza slightly more ;)
I have an opportunity to pick one of these kits up for £100, I'm very tempted.
Cool, £100 is a pretty good price :) enjoy the build if you pick one up

Top speed?
Roughly 21-23mph depending on battery type Etc mine was only using a nimh pack
What color ps
Hi there , sorry I can’t remember the code but if you look up Tamiya PS (Mica Red) you will be able to find the paint code for it ;)
Deserves an interior,looks great
Cheers Julian yeah it does deserve an interior and I might have done one if it was a kit I was keeping, cheers :)
