Get a skid plate on that thing asap! Notice that the lowest point on the drive train is the oil pan... it's cast alloy and about 1mm thick. My TDI took a hit from a chunk of highway ice that took out the oil pan- that didn't end well. Use an old stop sign or whatever, but please protect that thing.
