For cheese powder, grate your cheese (aged cheese is best), sprinkle it on paper towel lined dehydrator trays and set the temp to a lower setting. Don't worry about timing. You will check after about 4 hours and you will probably have to replace the paper towels and go another 4 hours and check again. And repeat. There are a couple of sites on youtube that explain and show examples. It is only worthwhile if you can get the cheese at a really good price. And then, even though it is dried, it is still a dairy product (although I have kept a very small supply in my cupboard for a couple of years).
Wow thank you. I've never tried cheese before m
Thanks for the tips!😁
That looks so comforting and warming!😊 would love to see cheese dehydration as well. 😊
❤❤❤ thank you
😁😁😁
I cannot wait for the cheese powder recipe!! I don't have a freeze dryer either, I would love to someday but for now I don't. Ty so much for the broccoli instructions, may God bless 💙💙
Thank you!😁
Saw the title and though "why?". Okay, now it makes sense. That is a crazy color, forget soup just add to macaroni. Love broccoli and cheese soup, I add cubes of potato. Sometimes blend it with the hand blender. Hi from chilly Oregon.
Lol I totally get it! You can definitely add it to so many things!😁😁
Wow. I think I can do this. Thanks. Sent this on to my DD.
You definitely can!😁
I’m not a fan of cooked celery but I love celery flavor in certain dishes. So I dehydrate celery and grind it up into a powder. I use it as much as I use onion powder or garlic powder. I look forward to seeing all your dehydrating ideas!
I have plans to do celery. I’ll definitely have to powder some!😁
This looks really good:) How much do you like your dehydrator or could you suggest another kind? I don’t have a lot of money so I cannot spend a fortune on one and maybe where would be the best place to find it???Ty and God bless:)
Don't know a thing about all this but it's still interesting to watch.
Lol I’m terrible about things going bad because I can’t use them all. Dehydrating helps me not throw my money away😂
Oh that soup looks delicious... I guess I'm gonna have to get a dehydrator! 😃Thanks for sharing Tammy.
Lol thanks!😁
You have perfect timing! I just bought 2 of the same bags of broccoli florets and a bag of broccoli/cauliflower/carrots on clearance at Walmart yesterday!
Can the mixed veggies be dehydrated the same way?
They can, but some may take longer than others😁
😍
❤️👍🏻
😁😁
I'm thinking with the keatger trays, you can dehydrate milk to keep some on hand for mixes. Eggs also.
