@dantranblay, thanks for response, i completely missed this response because of 'notifications' off. I wanted to learn more about product owner and their jobs, could you help please?
Sometimes it depends on the size of the company and whether a PM role exists or not. If it's a large organization that utilizes scrum, it is more likely to have PMs and if they have both PMs and POs, the PO will role up to the PM who in turn would have multiple POs under them. In reality, if the organization is large enough, a PO can't do all of the tasks and work that is required of a true PM and PM has too many things to look after to be a true PO in sprints.
Hi Lana, PO will lead the prioritization of the backlog which is engineering-focused stories. PM can give high-level feature prioritization when work with PO to break it down to engineering-facing user stories. Does it help?
You mentioned the Agile golden triangle (Scrum master, PO & Dev.). Is there no place for a Business Analyst on Agile teams ? Is PO going to be the one writing user stories etc. entirely if there is no BA ?
In the formal agile team, there is no BA and P.O. writes requirements. However a lot of BA already wrote requirements and can be considered as PM functions. That’s a perfect role to transition to PM.
Hi dr nancy, may i know the current rate of a entry level PO? hw much will be paid? and what are the skillset/certifiacte that needed to increase my value in this role? any recommendation on this?

Nice video. I have a question. I have been working as senior consultant in IT space. I have handled roles and responsibilities of business analyst, part time product owner. Now I have earned my PMP too. So which career path should I choose? Product owner or Product Manager? In India, it is very hard to find associate level product manager role. Please guide me! Thank you.

I´m sorry but the background music is way too loud... sadly wasn´t able to focus on the content :/
Agreed the background is too loud and noisy. I could not focus and then had to leave.
As a PO I do most of what the PMs do I feel the role are more and more interchangeable, salary is pretty much the same here in Canada
Hi, May I know what is the PO salary in Canada and in Netherlands (if you know by any chance)
@@Abc20205 varies between 80,000 to 120,000 in Canada more or less
